Wave Race, Dawn of War: Winter Assault and LOTR: Return of the King.

Ah, here we are, 4.30pm Sunday. All I really want is a less cack Torchwood.
-
No problemo. Anyway, Sexy Beast is an amazing film and is on tomorrow night, just after The Day After Tomorrow, which instead ranges from being hilarious for all the wrong reasons, to just wrong.

Heads-up - Weekly comedy repeats starting if you missed any of them.

What about graphix cards in PCs?

^^ The man has taste.

Indeed. The best Star Trek is still the one with the whales though. By a big margin.
-
I missed this, but did anyone catch Primeval? Looked kinda interesting.
-
(I only have a Wii & DS, but I none the less will be desperate to play these-) 1. Metroid Prime Corruption 2. Formula 1 CE 3. Super Smash Bros. Brawl 4. Dragon Quest IX 5. Battalion Wars 2 6. Super Mario Galaxy 7. Halo 3 8. Worms 360 9. Metal Slug Anthology 10. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers.

Indeed. Most people are still only scooting around Half-Life 2 on 6600s, DX9 is not going to die for quite a long time yet.
-
Uhhhhh, I'm loathe to recommend anyone getting a DX10 card right now, as the only one on the market is the 8800, which while making mincemeat of DX9 games for all we know might take one look at Crysis and cave in on itself. Either of the above cards you mentioned will still be top-flight card for a good couple of years, are quite inexpensive and will be more then adequate until DX10 games and hardware are more widely available. For you sir, the only way to go today is Intel's Core Duo. With even the cheapest model and a half-assed cooling system, you can easily overclock the living bejesus out of it so that it emabaresses almost anything AMD has to offer.

Capcom employee in personal opinion horror!

According to the weather, I should be rolling in the stuff by now. Barely had a flake.

After a little thought: Opening – In My Heart - Moby Happy, bumbling baby with promise. Average Day – Albuquerque – Weird’ Al Yankovic Happy, bumbling college student. No promise. First Date – Things I’ll never say – Avril Lavigne Gushing at each other in Pizza Hut. Falling in Love – Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now – Starship Motorcycling out of Pizza Hut. On a Harley. With a side-car. Love scene – La Femme d’Argent - Air "Sensual" teen sex that goes on for an unrealistically long time before climax. Fight scene – Guerrilla Radio – Rage Against The Machine Baseball bats and strobe lighting involved. Breaking up – Missing The War – Ben Folds Five Violent shoe-throwing in bullet time. Mental Breakdown – Naked – Benjamin Zephaniah Later found naked attacking the mannequins in Debenhams. Deep Thought – Close Your Eyes – Chemical Brothers/Magic Numbers State-sponsored rehab. Walking in the Rain – In My Place - Coldplay They needed the extra bed. Death of a Friend – [untitled – Track 3 from the album ( )] – Sigur Ros Long, irritating conversation about our love of baseball. Regretting- Father and Son – Cat Stevens Settle into bed, only to have long, irritating memories about games of baseball. Death scene – Do You Realise?? – The Flaming Lips Finally utterly fed up of baseball, I simply allow myself to starve to death. Ending Credits – Ring of Fire – Johnny Cash Credit sequence bullet pointed by little baseballs.

If I recall correctly, that would be the same team who also, somehow, managed to make a genuinely half-decent Bioncle game so it would be difficult to imagine anything less then at least highly competent game play experience. Promising all round.

Tights I got no beef with, on anyone, but tight jeans are faintly insane if you ask me. No still not as bad as those designer jeans which are deliberately made to look used and worn through. I find their whole concept utterly alien. Why pay £50 for those when for a tenner you get some regular jeans and some sandpaper?

I dunno, Wii Sports, Madden and Wario are all pretty goddamn awesome. Also, it seems to me like he actually had respect for the Wii, given that he was surprised for defeating it for many award cateories. That's not to say he genuinely respects it, he was probably just paying it lip-service.

All kind of good things (Not a suicide thread!)

Good luck with stuff mate. (I'll never understand this big leaving thing though. Is there a curse on this forum that causes your computer to explode, killing you or what?) -
Yes. He's coming to my local centre. I'd like to see it, but £27? Hmmm..... PS - Kirk prepping himself for a sweaty fist-fight with Khan on BBC2 now if anyone's interested.
-
Whoo! Happy birthday Takeo-Takeo Can you do the fandago!

I've never understood what's so great about Friday Night Project. "Look at us, we're so zany and laid back! We're like a your drinking buddies who like all the kewl bands you do!" "Like?" "Uh.... Fallout Boy?"

Oh god how I love Jon Stewart. He's like the leader of his own personal crusade against the evils of biased, sub standard journalism.
-
Dammit all, i missed Jon Stewart. Thank god for the repeat near midnight.

I think an all-purpose TV thread is required, for discussion of past, present and future telly watching that isn't itself viable for it's own thread. Just to take the heat off the Meaningless Post Thread, if nothing else. Anyway, everyone simply must tune into BBC2 at 10pm tonight, as it will be Paul Mertons last ever appearance on the show as it's presenter. His guest will be, of course, his partner in crime Ian Hislop. Score.
