  1. How about we turn this into a little game? The first person who can identify the films and characters all three of these quotes come from wins an imaginary cookie: "Nobody tosses a dwarf!" "As my lawyer, you should know: I've killed a lot of people." "Are these your lunches? You eat other peoples lunches? STOP IT!!"
  2. I really have only been playing Wii games mostly. And a fair bit of online PC gaming now that I have internets. But by and large mostly Wii games. Need to get Eledees at some point. And Dragonball. Actually looks pretty good fun. Oooh, and Metal Slug. Can't beat a nice slice of Metal Slug.
  3. Core 2 Duo. Anyone who suggests otherwise will be shot. At birth.
  4. Gunblade. My favourite arcade game ever. Evil robots have invaded New York City, and only a brace of US Navy helicopter pilots armed with Uzis can save the day. It's cheesy, shallow and looks like ass. It's also the greatest amount of fun I've ever had while still wearing underpants. Well, sometimes while still wearing underpants anyway.
  5. When It feels like I have something in my eye. It happens all the time because my odd sinuses stop my eyes from cleaning themselves properly. I'm writing this with one eye scrunched up right now. It makes me positively miserable sometimes.
  6. There's a good sense of armageddon radiating from Pikachu's special attack, I must say.
  7. Now, if it had been Jack Thompson or some half witted US Senator in an election year banning Manhunt, there may be some grounds for a degree of outrage. This however, is a very professional turn down by the BBFC, a body that even suggested recently that many game ratings may be too high. Rockstar have always prided themselves on pushing the envelope, a noble aspiration, but the line does have to be drawn somewhere and I don't think anyone is more qualified to call where then the BBFC. Obviously I haven't played the game myself so I can't comment on it's content myself, but I do trust the BBFC. No doubt Rockstar will appeal against the decision, I trust the BBFC will treat them fairly and consider their position, and I look forward to the public debate that will no doubt ensue.
  8. Slight Problem with in-game stats causes tears. The following represents game fans at their worst/greatest- http://forums.easports.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=235551&start=90&tstart=0
  9. Yeah, all the teams will probably be testing the shit out everything they can throw on the car. Seems to be that time of year when their R&D teams finally finish whatever doo-hickie package they've been developing based on their race performance.
  10. FEED ME A STRAY CAT Besides, once you know ending, you realise your free to laugh about the whole thing anyway. Or can you? One of my favourite quotes ever: "You're my lawyer so I think you should know: I've killed a lot of people."
  11. Must... resist... buying... latest... Avril Lavigne... album... nnrrrrrraagh!
  12. It's Lara, but you can't see her most important assets! 7/10
  13. I regret not taking more of an interest in the people around me sooner. I think I will regret it for the rest of my life.
  14. I think it's kind of cool you took the time to watch it and start a thread at any rate. F1 though hardly a niche sport still relies rather heavily on the usual bunch of petrol heads and motor fans (and their exasperated wives/girlfriends). It's often on the verge of breaking out but never quite doing it. At least with Lewis on the scene it's getting much more interesting in Britain. Long live the Hamilton effect. Incidentally, this reminds me of the Welsh racing fans that were spotted by the cameras at Montreal. Not supporting anyone in particular, just snuggled in a corner of the stands with their big Welsh flag, representing. Nice one. : peace:
  15. Alonso did his best to bully him didn't he? Hamilton's better then that though. Personally I feel sorry for Coulthard, he's had a simply appalling year and rarely due to any fault of his own. I reckon the Ferraris can still come back, but they've simply got to start pulling something from somewhere over the next couple of races. Time is very much against them at this point.
  16. Well, he is the Doctors evil counterpart. They're tricky dicks these Timelords, ain't they? Besides, does it even matter? You may as well complain about why the Bond villain always has to explain his plan in excruciating detail before deciding (and failing) to kill him.
  17. Happy goopy-smack day Stefkov!
  18. American Psycho "This is not an exit." 9/10
  19. Dr Who regulary leaves me in such a state of unremmitant joy, you could shoot me in the back of the head and I'd die with my grinning face splattered all over the wall.
  20. I don't know what to say really. Absolutely sodding amazing. Great performances, utterly enthralling, it was just truly, simply magnificent. My brain is still coming to terms with itself after witnessing such an awesome display. I knew it was going to be good but that just blew me away. Next week cannot come soon enough.
  21. Space Cowboys Donald Sutherland hasn't aged one goddamn day in 30 years. 8/10
  22. I find it almost impossible to hold a grudge for more then about a week, even when I really, really try. Though I guess I haven't yet suffered anything major at the hands of anyone else, so I suppose I can't really be sure.
  23. The final one for RTD maybe. The BBC aren't going to stop there though, it's their most successful show for decades.
  24. The problem with presents they don't anything to inspire violence. In fact, quite the opposite. We're going to have to get together on Xmas morning online and have a nice big present opening ceremony. "Go on then, open mine then." "Oh wow! A piece of chicken, thank you!"
  25. Happy Birthday! You sure a H-O-T-tey! Hah!
