Yeah, but all that's going to happen when they invent holodecks is that people are going to keep on getting trapped in them, and end up forming weird sexual relationships with story book characters from their child hood while historical figures turn evil and start killing everyone.

I agree with most of his compliments and complaints, the dark graphics and the seemingly endless chore keeping friends sweet in particular.

God I can't wait for next year. Must... resist... innuendo...

Ask one of the mods to keep an eye on it, then they can just update the existing thread.

What's the point of just slapping an existing franchise on there though? Have we truly learned nothing from Starfox Adventures?

It's not an absolute rule though. I'm moving in with Uni friend next year, who's a thoroughly good bloke and absurdly beautiful. It makes going out to clubs for girls a bit of farce though, all he has to do is stand there and they magnetise towards him, while my best bet is sort of standing in the way and hoping one of them sticks.

For some reason I read this as "The Bi-Sexual Exam Thread". Anyways, I'm lucky enough to not have any exams, but have suddenly found myself surrounded by deadlines, some unexpected, like a buck trapped by wolves. Having to move back home right in the middle of them ain't the height of convenience either.

8 bars positive, no reductions, much better then I was expecting.

How often do you run programmes like CrapCleaner or Spybot through it? If you haven't in a while, could help perk it up. Cleaning out excess dust can do no end of good too.

I'm not sure how successfully Microsoft are going to be selling Xbox as a complete multimedia portal. They were trying to sell the 360 as such, but there are always going to be far too many things competing for the same thing. You can see the vision they're laying out, a fanciful Star Trek style future where you can work, play, record, surf and set the dishwasher from their particular brand of box, but who's box, playing who's games, recording who's movies and connecting to who's dishwasher? I just can't see it happening until all the various companies stop waving their cocks around in public and create some kind of common ground for their products. They haven't even figured out how to make their current connectivity features less fiddly.

What we should do is carpool with each other, to reduce consumption. In fact, what if someone was to build like a really big car of some kind, sort of really long with lots of seats on it that people could pay to use to get around. Maybe we could create ones that run on rails, so they always go to busiest places. I know I'd use it.

I'd probably appear in lots of in Hong Kong kung fu and Bollywood period dramas, usually as either the English villain or token white guy. My work would mostly involve challenging poor local villagers to cricket matches over tax disputes, sneering, and getting kicked in the face.

But no man is an island. I guarantee both my testicles that a) There have been points in your life when you have had to seek help from someone else and b) There are many, many such points in your life to come.

I don't think solid state media is going to be dead any time soon. Thanks to huge increases in bandwidth allowing services such as Steam to retail games effectively, as well as massive technological leaps in memory being made, I certainly agree download distribution is coming into it's own. However, I suspect it would require a fairly massive shift in all the multimedia industries to completely usurp the traditional brick and mortar retail stores.

Why the lies though, what are you hiding?

I have to follow my gut and Vote:Chairdriver If he did lie, that's a great biog danger flag right there.

He'll grow out if it. Everyone does. Besides, what's the point of keeping things private when you haven't got anyone to keep it private from?

In the Pushing Daises situation, I don't think avoiding physical contact would be too much of a problem, nothing a full set of leathers and whips wouldn't overcome anyway.
