  1. I'm sure the good people at Nintendo and Game Freak would simply love to revolutionise the franchise and take it in new and radical directions, but right now they're still trying to figure out where to put all these inconveniently massive piles of money that keep pouring into the office.
  2. What immortal enemy of freedom are taking down this time? Arabs? Communists? Arab Communists?
  3. Yess. Thank god. Noodle was the man I simply had to beat to avoid relegation. It's not certain, but I'm in with an excellent chance of survival now. I think I've pulled it from the brink here. Also gratz to Hadens, bagged with two matches spare.

OK, I'll bite, who's idea was it?

I've gotten busted a few times, but I keep walking away with my Uzi.

Do the cops ever take your guns away when you get busted?
  8. I don't think so. They were just violent fantasies created as his mind attempted to escape it's pitiably mundane existence.

I'm finding it difficult to fault a game that just inhaled the last two hours of my life without my prior knowledge or consent.
  10. And we wonder why more girls don't join the forum.

The plot and dialogue goes up and down a bit for me so far (though it's still early days), but neither are without their highlights. "Nothing helps a man forget like BIG ROUND AMERICAN TITTIES!"
  12. Ouch, sorry to hear that. I've had spits and spots of eczema, but clearly nought compared to that. I hope you can get that new medication, and that it helps.
  13. I love that film. The greatest organic food ad ever made.
  14. Zelda is it what it says it is: a legend. That is, a story which is retold again and again with variations on theme. Try to look at each Zelda game in the fullness of their medium, which is often very visual: the medieval emphasis of LTTP, the happy child and obliterated adult worlds of OOT, the bright Caribbean spirit of WW and the dark, playful surrealism of TP. It's story is often as much in the detail and mood of it's dungeons and environments as it is in it's plot, characters and dialogue. Games are a definitively visual medium, and sometimes I find are best approached like an interactive painting, rather than a movie or book.
  15. I sort of like the original Halo plot for the specific reason it didn't really get in the way: I'm fighting aliens on a super weapon infested with zombies, and it's a race against time. That's all I really have to know, and as soon as the base premise is established it slips behind the scenes and doesn't get in the way of the action, which is more then can be said for most games. Halo 2 and 3, for example. Specifically the giant-psychic-plant-thing. What was even the point in it? It barely had any relevance to the plot.
  16. We all know the, I don't think it's worth the benefit of the doubt. Vote: Mooglevipers
  17. I don't think townies generally have killing powers, do they?
  18. I would like to announce I'm officially fed up with modern super hero movies. How much emo-inspired testosterone does the world need? Emosterone, if you will.

I do the opposite. I like driving on the side walk because people aren't as hard to push out the way.
  20. I'd love it if they did something a little more concrete with the rabbids then just minigames. A spoof Ghost Recon game where Cpt Mitchell and team have to fight off the rabbid invasion, or something.
  21. Lets got to the back row, we can make out there without anyone seeing us.
