  1. Dammit it all, after a rash of (relative) productivity my writing has all grounded to a halt today. Now I'm just sitting here, listening to Journey and feeling sick. Got to spend Thursday-till-Monday crashing at a friends place for the city arts festival, annoying with this portfolio still to polish off. Blah.
  2. 1600, or you can buy it $20 from Greenhouse for PC. I think I might buy the Xbox version, for the convenience of it.
  3. They've got a great ad campaign going. Gotta hand it to them, they know their audience.
  4. I usually go to sleep in a foetal position, but I usually wake up face down. I seem to drool an awful lot in my sleep.
  5. If your having troubles, just quit the old game.
  6. Gotta hand it to him though, he's stayed independent, he's done his own thing and he's slowly setting up his own media empire. That's not the dream, that's every artist's god damn fantasy.
  7. Yup, same here. On my way now though.
  8. I tried the Xbox demo, and I'm pretty sold on the whole thing. The fruit fuckers are as cute and perverted as ever, everything has the classic PA art style. I want to get the PC version but if the download's slow I may get the Xbox version, for the sake of convenience.
  9. There a demo for the PC if you're on the fence. Seems a bit slow to download at the moment mind.
  10. I'll probably get the PC version, maybe not tomorrow but soon enough. I love the comic obviously and I think given their status as essentially gaming's moral voice, the Greenhouse could become a great platform for independent games.
  11. Guh. Tired. But I want to get this short story done and I'm going to do it tonight, godammit.
  12. Black Books Just brilliant, quirky fun. "Yes, I am giving myself to you, for your enjoyment. Like an éclair, or a day at the zoo." American Dad Second season, still standing tall. "This is the worst thing to happen to wine since Sideways. Oh yes, I really said that. Come and get me America."
  13. Well, we've certainly got plenty of cash to play around with this time. $____$ Is everyone ready?
  14. I rather liked the Agatha Christie episode. It was a genuinely entertaining period romp, albeit one with an unusual sting in it's tale. HAH!
  15. This game is gorgeous. Nice and relaxing, just what I needed.
  16. Who else will be downloading the Penny-Arcade game tomorrow? I think I will, their comic is brilliant and early impressions have been quite positive.
  17. Wow, he's written all the best episodes!
  18. I'd be in favour of simply upping the start amount to about $2-3K. It makes the minimum $2 share value more workable too, allowing for more diverse portfolio's to start the game with.
  19. Gah. I've got all my equity in an non-ferrous metals investment corp now. I hope it continues it's recent upwards trend.
  20. I really don't think it was better then what we have now. Even the dark looks rose tinted in this article.
  21. A Link To The Past - Like Eenuh with OOT, I had never even heard of Zelda before. I originally only bought it 2nd hand because "I wanted something with swords" and it had one on the cover.
  22. How did you manage to get so hyped that PD64 was a let down? You must have been having heart attacks and waking up screaming and drenched in sweat from violently sexual dreams about Elvis.
  23. Oh yes, certainly that one for me. Also Star Fox Assault. Not awful, but so very poor compared to Lylat Wars and Starwing. From Namco too.
  24. Does it have to be a game? Because the new Star Wars trilogy is inordinately worse then what I think we all expected. Also New Labour, The Wachowski brothers, and life.
  25. Doh, that's... mildly disappointingly really. Lost 4 cents a share. Had to bale out of my other investment too, a pharmaceutical company for pets. Where's canine influenza and cat AIDS when you need them?
