Poor noodle. I mean, I'm ecstatic that I survived, but poor noodle. Beat the champions though, expect to see you right back in season after next.

GRID is rather spiffingly good. It's completely different to PGR or Forza again, a more arcade style white knuckle charge through the field. Excellent multi player in particular. Also Codemasters are going to start making F1 games based on the game engine, which is making my inner pit crew dance with glee.

They're not the PC's blockbusters, but these days if you can scratch a few pennies off it it's obviously worth a punt. It's easy enough to do so clearly.

I completely agree that were it not for Michael he could very easily have been a World Champion. Both he and Coulthard are probably two of the best drivers never to win the championship.

I agree, Codemasters have a good pedigree in fun and accessible racing games that are still faithful to their source material. (DIRT didn't grab me, but only because I had grown too accustomed to previous McRae instalments.)

Rumours are flying that Sony have ditched the F1 license, leaving EA, Ubi and Codemasters competing for a new contract. Finally, perhaps we'll get a 360 F1 game eventually, and that EA or Codemasters can do the license fair justice.

I shouldn't think so. Looking at that little game play section I keep thinking to myself "I would've just run across that" or "I would vaulted off the panel to clear that bit", which would fit with the free running theme.

Just watched the video. Holy fucking cock rock. I actually hope there's very little gun play, if it delivers on the free running aspect. It looks like Portal without the portals.
