I don't know if my Totoro avatar would be any good as a tattoo. A Totoro tattoo would be awesome, but not like that one. Maybe one of him, on the upper arm, holding an umbrella. That would be pretty cool. Fuck it, I'm having it.

That's ridiculous, especially as that new one just looks like a P.E. shirt. I bought my England shirt (the 2006 World Cup white 'un) for only £11 a few years back. I prefer to spend a lot more on the Villa shirts, though. My last one cost about £65 (that included printing, delivery and VAT and all that.)

Despite my Brummie drawl/whine and my tendency to speak so fast I sometimes lose track of what I'm saying so it comes out as crap, I've found it rather easy to learn languages. I think I used to be quite good at French, especially in Year 9 when my teacher was from France. He said in my report book that he 'strongly recommend I do French GCSE'. I didn't, though. It's been over five years now since I last took a French lesson, and I have forgotten most of what I'd learnt. Although the most basic stuff still lingers "Je n'ai pas un petit-dejeuner et stylo." et cetera. At the moment, I'm trying to teach myself Japanese. I'm honestly finding it easy to learn how to speak it. It's just the writing system that's difficult. I sometimes forget what certain characters mean and I have next to no clue about the Kanji save for a few random ones I learnt from playing Shenmue. (e.g - 山 = yama = mountain). -
Also if you somehow fuck up the manual override on those locked boxes and similar storage things = Omni-gel usage!

I reckon we make an all-out offensive: Everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone, goes into the music thread and posts something about their favourite artists, and not bands that are often mentioned (Bjork, Tori Amos, PJ Harvey etc. Not even Radiohead because they get a lot of mentions even though they really are fantastic). It would be like some massive orgy of variety suddenly infiltrating it and making it seem less crap! Or, when Paj eventually reaches 2,000 posts, ban him from the thread. (300 posts to go. He'll reach that by November.)

My view on Labyrinth isn't at all through rose-tinted spectacles; my brothers remember watching it when they were little, but I don't remember at all. First time I watched Labyrinth was only a couple years ago, I think, maybe later, who knows? Who cares? But yeah: I genuinely enjoyed Labyrinth and not for any sort of nostalgic reason.

Whereas there's me, I'm trying in vain to restore some decency to that thread. However, I'm resigned to losing it. I would ask to be banned from the Music Thread, but I'll try a method of self-control. If that self-control fails...Fuck, I don't even want to go in there anymore. I'll ask if I can be banned from the thread, y'know, for my own wellbeing.

I've heard, and like, both these songs you know. Fuck! I prefer Sleep Now In The Fire. I didn't vote in the Portishead-Placebo one because it was two songs that I couldn't really care about and it annoys Paj. Hence. And as for the passport bollocks: Seriously, is there any point in just having one even if I'm not going anywhere? I'm not going to be passing through any ports any time soon. No point. Next.

I'm chuffed we finally got Richard Dunne. He's a defender similar to Martin Laursen and should be able to fill the gap left by him. So we got Downing, Delph, Beye, Marshall (reserve GK), Warnock, Collins and Dunne. We were a bit miffed when MON bought Downing for the same amount he sold Barry, but I think those last three signings will help us with the problems in the back. Although Curtis Davies has injured his shoulder, Bouma should be back soon, plus Ciaran Clark had a very good debut against Fulham. So, along with a couple of other youngsters coming up through the reserves, I think we'll be alright.
