Bill Gates: "we've done a better job than Sony"
mike-zim replied to Stocka's topic in Other Consoles
i like it. sony and microsoft trying to out do eachother while nintendo sneak in and steal a greater market share. excellent. -
i agree. i really dont like the whole american thing it really annoys me. they think they are so great because they can 12 big mac meals in 1 sitting.

i want to know what people do when they are bored? and what they find annoying about other people when they are bored. i will start by saying that when i am bored i tap my fingers on the table. it is a rythmic kind of sound (i think any way). people really get annoyed by it. My girlfriend grinds her teeth and that annoys the hell out of me. i think she does it on purpose. well let me know.

NGC Christmas issue #114 review scores
mike-zim replied to Locky's topic in General Gaming Discussion
are they in any provocative positions? i bet peach is a stunner naked. -
I will list everything that was wrong with every game show that i have ever seen. 1) 2 friend battaling it out is crap. i dont care if max wants to "lay the smack down" to kamal. 2) when they preview games it was never long enough. give things a proper going over. 1 min of footage wont tell me shit about a game. 3) up coming games innovation all the hot gossip in a news section would be good instead of a 12 sec piece on nothing really worth much. 4) No point with cheats. most of the time they were for games that i never played. 5)interviews with the main people would be good. lets hear what the developers want to get across to us. 5) i dont want chav presenter. 6) Dont target it towards kids. i hate that. kids dont have the money to spend it is older brothers and parents. kid get bored with gaming shows anyway. make it mature and factual but not too technical so you dont alienate the casuals. well i hope that helps

Well it looked as though all of them had put a fair bit of thought into the rev. Good news as it means they are likely to develop for it. anyhow all the comments were rather vague.
-
Well i found nothing funny about that. i take it he is american. if so it explains alot. if not he should be with that kind of humour.

for the safety of the nation. to keep a track of immigration as they dont have a clue at the moment what is going on. to cut crime. it is a tool for many legitamate operations that the government need to improve upon.
-
brilliant. but they are called winter lights now not christmas lights. lets be politically correct.
-
that is a little over the top. yeah you might get someone look into your movement every once in a while but i hardly think the government have the resources to track every person with an ID card. they would probably find other info first before they would use the id cards. like if there was a crime and it was commited in your area. i would imagine if it were compulsary there would be concetions (sorry about spelling)
-
i agree. i think it should be a unique username like on WoW.
-
yeah i agree, but if you only knew how much of thw tax money gets wasted you wouldnt mind the id cards.
-
i agree. it should be compulsary, or there would be no point in them at all. but they should be free. i think when you turn 18 or 16 you get the first one free. but the government cant afford to give everyone 1 for free.
-
What info does your drivers license and passport really have? we are talking DNA, Finger prints and iris scans. this is the stuff that will help identify which people did what. i think it is a brilliant idea. about the only thing that the labour party are doing right.
-
coolness is a bit far.

i am totally behind this. i think alot of crime would be solved alot faster if there was a data base with everyones finger prints and dna on it. do you know that 80% of rapists are never caught. that is wrong. with id cards that number would fall dramatically i would say to less than 5%. that is just 1 example. at the end of the day it boils down to the choice Greater safety or greater privacy. personnaly i have nothing to hide and if i could go about my life feeling that little bit safer i say go for it. so what if they know where i went on holiday last year. i also think that you have exagerated a little, you would not need it on you all the time. if you were asked to show it and did not have it on you, you could present it at your nearest police station up to a week later.
