  1. I love the surreality of it.
  2. They're pokémon (avatar is Electrode and sig is Psyduck) re-imagined as real monsters. I didn't draw it myself. I liked Electrode as I was having a period of relative instability and Psyduck for the melancholy. At the time and it reflected it well. To be fair it's about 8 months old but it's stuck well. [someone else rate above]
  3. You sir, are too cool. I bow to thee.

  4. No idea who she is, nor does she do anything for me. She also seems to have that awful "Let's paint our faces including our lips a sickly shade of matte beige!" thing going on. Plus you have no sig. I want more. Give me more. N/A / 10
  5. Spüüüne! (the umlauts do you many favours) You're doing so many things right that it's making me question the nothing that I've achieved thus far in life. I feel like I know Cindy's soundtrack should I walk into her gym. It'd be so salty. I love, on so many levels.
  6. Anna Faris + Autotune = Yes. Samantha James:
  7. I use Zeam which is really light and works a lot better, but TouchWiz goes beyond just being a Launcher. It's linked to hardware and drivers from what I've ascertained from a bit of reading up on it, so there are certain things I can't get rid of. But I deal. Waiting for Cyanogen Mod 7 more than anything. Then again might just keep it as it is, way safer. Gameloft seem to be doing some quality looking games by the way, but seems that they're so money hungry to the point where NONE of them are available on the market as to avoid Google's 30% sales cut or whatever it is. Bloody ridiculous and very unsporting if you ask me. Especially as they're charging $5 a pop, so their loss is rather insignificant.
  8. I love how it has the cute little surfer fringe as well.
  9. Got an Android (Samsung Galaxy S) at the beginning of December (and quite gutted they unveiled the Nexus S pretty much the day after I got mine in the post, but such is life) and probably my favourite phone so far. Really not a fan of Samsung's horribly shoddy TouchWiz 3.0 and would have much preferred the stock android, but apart from that it's pretty beautiful. Shame the games on the market are miles behind those of the iPhone's. Got some greats like Angry Birds, SliceIt and Jet Car Stunts though. Really want Google to kick themselves into gear when it comes to games, it could just be so much better. The sheer amount of dross on the market is shameful as well, seriously Google - sort it out! It has so much potential which is very exciting. I just wish they'd bloody hurry up and fulfil it already!
  10. Ebi is japanese for shrimp if I'm not mistaken? EDIT: Also, Spüne, I just love. Everything.
  11. That place was my safe haven when I was in Sheffield, AMAZING. That and Wagamama's are probably the only chains I really like. Generally a lot of chain restaurant food is just really boring and does nothing for me.
  12. I'm quite bad, I want to give good presents but I'm so apathetic to the idea of receiving them that I can't really relate. So far I've got my little brother some Bioshock figurines and then my man chum a litre of Tanqueray Ten and Arkham Asylum. I'm getting him a third small one though but haven't the foggiest what it is yet. I've still got my two sisters, my other brother and my parents to buy for. Help!

    Cheese

Both are actually still mozzarella. The cow's milk one is normally called Mozzarella Fior Di Latte and the buffalo, as the name suggests, Mozzarella Di Bufala. Both have their redeeming qualities, but most supermarket varieties don't really compare to the fresh fresh stuff.

Wensleydale - like a million soft and creamy people having sweet passionate sex on my tongue. Pecorino - So saltily gratifying and sharp. Edam - Yes. These are but a few of my favourite things. *thinks of Swiss alps, dairy*
  15. Pottery Barn! I went into one when I was in the States just for the joke of it. And got bored after about three seconds and walked out again. My life is that interesting.
  16. I've only actually read Misery but then obviously seen a lot of the films based on (and I stress based as Misery and as far as I'm told The Shining too was very different from the book). Fantastic read nonetheless, but that's probably very subjective as I read in tandem with a friend, and we had lols-a-plenty at the absurdity of the situation.
  17. I think I read somewhere it was going to be 13, maybe on io9? I found ep5 to be a bit...strange. I don't know it just started great as usual, and then tapered off and got a bit twilight-zone.
  18. I like the fact she's not a skeletal wraith and doesn't care, as it should be. Her voice is powerful too but I always have an issue with how a lot of artists like herself get produced into something lesser than that of which they are capable. EDIT: Sorry that was a bit too much about her in general. With regards to the video above, she gave a great performance. ---- This is sadly not the best quality, but I love. An issue I have with it myself though is the bridge/solo is a bit lazy and detracts. The vocal however...just take me now. I love it when covers aren't just someone singing along with the karaoke backing track, but take it in a new direction.
  19. Tiny-spiney-winey is a tad more rhythmic, no?

    Spanish

I understand a little spoken, and fair bit more written with help from having Italian as a second language. I can only speak minimally though. If I had the time (which I don't, due to my life being dominated by a science degree) I'd quite like to learn it properly.
  21. My four favourites from this year: And lastly the song that best defines my year. I was having thoughts of Marianne:
  22. I'll put this in spoilers, just because it's a bit horrendous. The cat was sick this morning and I got the short straw of cleaning it up. So I donned the cock-apron, some vinyl gloves, a tea-towel and some Bounty (or whatever the fuck it's called now) and I was ready to fight the vom. I was in a t-shirt/boxers for those wondering if I actually go around trouserless. We lolled.
  23. I feel bad asking for anything for Christmas. If my parents want to get me something then they can by all means surprise me, but I like to think I'm far past the age where I 'expect' anything. I don't mind either way. I like buying for others though. I know that sounds slightly hypocritical but...yeah.
