I hate how matte the vocals all sound after Scarlet's Walk. There used to be so much depth and good mastering.

Such a funny album, it tells me great things. The Beekeeper is good too though, in it's own special way. And I use special in the politically incorrect sense.

I kind of promised Daft I'd watch Battlestar Galactica, but alas I'm gripped by apathy towards everything at the moment. Time will tell.

One word/sound: Unh. ----------------------------- I had the absolute pleasure of seeing her last night at the Apollo Victoria and she was back on top form. The piano playing was simply incredible, and her voice was sounding great too. It was the best rendition of Hey Jupiter I've heard I think. I had this constant state of goosebumps. The setlist was also stupidly delicious.

Tomorrow - Seeing an old friend. We parted on bad terms, and I've felt bad about it ever since. Should be good as I've missed her a great deal. Saturday - Get to spend the day with other half. The 16th - Meeting friends in Londres, and seeing Inception hopefully! The 18th - Tori Amos playing solo in concert. 'Nuff said. October - New uni, hopefully! Near Future - Finishing medication and being a normal, non-nervous wreck again. Wooo!

The artist in question however couldn't quite manage to finish it so gave it up and left it in the vault. It wasn't until one of the sound engineers dug it up again in 2006 that the rest of the lyric was written and the track finally completed. 16 years in the making you could say. Such a beautiful concept.

Wooooohoooo! Had my last exam today which incidentally went quite well, but now I'm freeee from Sheffield forever!!!....(providing I've got a 60% average for the year, but still...) Going to pick my sister up from the station in a bit, then we're going to go to Wetherspoon's for a good cheap old student meal (as to avoid the shit hole that is my flat's kitchen) and then on to Corp with the Chemistry Crew for a night I'll probably not remember. Then I'm home tomorrow. Mamma mia, sono contentissimo!

I genuinely love both of these, but in different ways. I'm going with Alanis because it's just better to me. More replay value and less forgettable, as in a few years down the line I probably won't even remember who Temper Trap are, whereas I've loved Alanis for many a year already. Both very good songs.

That's one of her songs that I quite like, i.e that didn't lose it's cheap charm after a few listens. The video I quite liked too...apart from the hair and mincing.

Had an exam today. The first two organic sections were great, but the thermodynamics, not so much. The lecturer's a royal cunt though. He gave us this summary sheet of the course, to help us revise. Yet none of the questions he set were based on any of it, or anything he'd "taught" us for that matter. He's truly awful. But everyone was in the same boat so in all I'm indifferent because I think I made up for it on the other sections. I should be learning a presentation for Friday, but I seriously cannegh be arsed. I'm going to watch a film and eat bowls of pasta and just be a general stereotype for the next few hours. EDIT: Oh, and in a week, I'm outta here for good! YAY!
