Ideally I would, but he's travelling around with work at the moment, so it's not feasible. I think the fact he doesn't see me so much at the moment is playing on his mind already, so him knowing this obviously wouldn't help. Alas, I'm in halls still You're right' date=' and I've made other arrangements for him now. True but history's history. If I did just say it was a friend, and then he found out we'd had something at some point, I'm sure he'd have liked to have known that from the get go. Point remains anyway, all sorted now! I love the discussion though, very interesting.

He doesn't have many scruples at all, so it wouldn't be below him. He cut me up pretty bad though, so I wouldn't give him the satisfaction, nor would I want to inflict that onto my current boyfriend. But again I may trust myself, but I would be writhing in jealousy if I were in the same position as current contender.

Indeed I think the best solution is to give a massive cock block to the ex, whilst at the same time keeping shit neutral by sorting out for him other arrangements. Then telling current boyfriend what a good citizen I am and thus receive points.

See I myself am lime green jell-o when it comes to stuff like this, so I can sort of see how it might not be a good idea to tell him at all. Then at the same time I don't feel like lying. Thirdly, I don't want to hold a grudge against the ex. Sure he was a first class prick, but I try not to hold on to stuff like that. At the same time you're right, I owe him nothing, so perhaps I might find him somewhere else to stay. Thanks for all the advice everyone, I appreciate it and it's nice to hear different opinions.

Dilemma, of sorts: There's a group of us here at Uni all from the same hometown, and we're all good friends from sixth form so on and so forth. Anyway, my ex is coming up to see everyone (he's also good friends with us all), and I've been asked if I'll house him for a night. I don't mind myself, we have our differences (he cheated on me etc.) so I'm not worried that anything might happen in the slightest. However, do I bother telling my current boyfriend, or is ignorance bliss? He has nothing to worry about, but I can imagine he would worry anyway, despite what I might say to him to make him think otherwise.

I always get that horrible guilty feeling if I haven't been for a run/swim. I'm glad I do get like that, gives me incentive to exercise, and I actually enjoy being active. So aaaall's good. You'd think so wouldn't you? I did. How wrong I was.

Hmmm still not sold on GaGa. She's a good pianist, but she sells herself out in the sense she'd rather prance around in a banana skin than actually do something talented. Not to mention the fact she doesn't represent me as a gay person either. I don't like all this idolatry.

Today was nice. I had a good lie in, got up slowly and had a filling breakfast. I love breakfast. Anyway, I wrote my personal statement in less than an hour, much to the disbelief of my tutor who didn't believe it and have proceeded to send off my UCAS again! Rejoice etc. I now owe Ashley cookies/drinks for his invaluable help, and inappropriate jokes regarding my sexual history. Also I've done some maths tutoring today, and wrote some more on my explosives essay. Might do that titrimetric calculation as well after I've been on a sufficiently satisfying run. We had a BBQ as well, but it was chilly. Reggae Reggae sauce made it yummy though. The volcano is a bitch, sorry to all of you who've had plans shat on by it! Hope it gets better.

What about, what about...what a-bout us?! Blast from the past. Been running to Hole and Florence + The Machine recently, so high energy and fun! I always slip The Waitress from To Venus And Back at some point during because it's just so stupidly powerful, and is perfect because it lasts for so long, you can get into this amazing zone-y pace.

Today is a very good day after all. The sun started shining, I did some substantial work and I've just been running. It's beautiful out and I am feeling so post-exercise awesome. Literally dripping with sweat and it feels great! EDIT: ...and OMG I almost have that six pack I've always wanted.

Thanks! It basically covered any area of chemistry that used integrals and differentiation, in a chemical context. So there were rate equations, evaluation of half lives, limits in relation to bond enthalpies and some thermodynamics etc etc. There were also some plain old algebraic calculus too.

Nice surprise today, got my advanced chemical calculus midterm back and got a whopping 85%! Bloody chuffed to pieces
