  1. I know it's going to be shit-awful, but I'll go see it anyway because the games gave me so many jokes. One of my best memories with my best friend is of us playing ReMake on the GC, and I heard the running of a zombie, couldn't see where it was because of the ridiculous camera, so ran to one side of the room, straight into said zombie, screamed like a whore and threw the controller in the air. I've never lived it down.
  2. And miss a chance to Newgasm together? I don't have it in me to be that cruel. Bard, the hair's looking good! Striking, but it's nice.
  3. To be fair, he's going to have to make a fuck-tonne of harsh decisions to get us out of the deficit, so by the end of his term he'll be even more hated, and hopefully not re-elected.
  4. ^ Yes! I remember that and it terrified me. Nearly as much as those public service videos about not playing near train tracks.
  5. ^Haha! That reminds me of Soul Calibur II. I can't remember what the level's called but it had a ring of lava around it, and I KO'd Sophitia, and she was lying face down motionless in the lava exactly like that, with smoke rising from her head.[/random memory] Also Rez, that ice cream looks toxic!
  6. After watching The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! I have developed a soft spot for the conglomerate of shitcunt.
  7. Infatti si dice "un brutto stronzo". Alcuni aggettivi si cambiano la posizione attorno il sostantivo, troia. Love the hair, dan. Your friend is pretty too!
  8. Chair's looking good! I can't remember if I've said it already but you and Alex Curran need to have babies together. Me and the current hair which I'm liking for once: ....and my retina, for a friend's graphics project.
  9. I saw Iron Man 2 last night. It was entertaining, went on for a bit long imo. I preferred the first film, but enjoyed it nonetheless. This is all coming from a non comic book aficionado, btw.
  10. Happy Birthday! Best wishes
  11. ^ Very interesting interpretation. In other J-New related news, I've found a new found love for The Book Of Right-ON. "I killed my dinner with Karate, kick 'em in the face, taste the body. Shallow work is the work that I do." She and Tori battle for my heart. EDIT: I just have this marvellous image of her fly-kicking a buffalo in the face, and chomping down fervidly on its carotid artery.
  12. Close, but no biscuit. It'd be: Gia', quella cover e' una merda proprio. Le cover sono sempre mali quando si prova a sounare come la canzone di cui si fa la cover. Or something like that. I always hate it when we use loan words, it sounds awful.
  13. Yeah that's a shite cover. Cover's aren't ever good when you just try to sound like the song you're covering.
  14. Lol I've always found Wesker's persona and dialogue unbearably cringeworthy, you captured it perfectly!
  15. Don't feel down, anyone would be mighty lucky to get such a job on a first try. Like you said the experience from this one will prepare you for the next, and that's what it's all about really. Sounds like there might be a silver lining too from what the head teacher said so good for you! I've been to the doctor's today, and I've mixed feelings. Firstly I've been prescribed some stronger beta blockers to keep my heart a bit calmer/stop me getting myself into a tizz. But I've also been given the option of antidepressants as well, and I have to decide whether or not I'm ok with going down this route. That's the thing though, I'm not sure I want to dabble with such things, or let alone relent to them either. I'd feel quite defeatist I think; antidepressants at the age of 19, not a great start to my adult life. Then again they could help immensely, so I'm very torn! Good news though, I've been invited to the University of Southampton's Chemistry department tomorrow to have a look around and chat with the admissions guy. It's like a very informal interview, and he seems really keen so this could be awesome. Have to be up at 5.30am though, boooo!
  16. I just voted LibDem in a fairly safe LibDem seat (it being Nick Clegg's constituency and all). I think he just voted at the same station as I did as well, strange!
  17. It's ok, they're a half strength variety, you can double up if need be. Point remains that they're now useless however.
  18. That's sweet of you, thank you. Good luck with the essay, I love that feeling when it's all done!
  19. Urrrgh I've been a complete mess. This is so unlike me, which makes it all the more frustrating. I'm even making progress in terms of sorting out why I'm so miserable but I still feel like utter shite. I'm double dosing, and it's not helping so I've booked another doctor's appointment for tomorrow. She told me sedatives would be the next step, which I'm not keen on, but if it helps I guess I'll just have to grin and bear it. I feel so pathetic!
  20. I love heat. The more unbearable the better. Not a big fan of the cold at all.
  21. Bought Nobody's Daughter by Hole today. I've given it a few listens and I'm liking, seriously so. It's just what I needed. The liner notes are nice too, but I hate it when lyrics aren't included, it's just rude. Oh Courtney Love, you unstable mess you, welcome back. EDIT: Also, Walking With A Ghost by Teegs n Sar is just the best.
