I've been looking for a while through the internet sites and shop windows. My only problem is that all the places seem to be looking for experience which is a pain because I do not have any retail experience since I am still in Sixth Form. My only work experience so far is a week at a bank. So any advice for people like who are looking for their first jobs?

Happy Birthday Daft ! I hope you're gonna celebrate, all night, and remember don't stop the dancing! I know it was a pathetic attempt at a Daft Punk reference. :P

Usually have 5 lessons today in Sixth Form but 2 got cancelled resulting in me doing cover work in the library. The lessons I did have were maths, computing and physics. Maths and computing were fine but physics is so hard. Bit of a boring day to be honest. Glad it's the weekend so I can relax.

Ashley Cole had one bad moment, it happens to every player at some stage. Good 2nd half overall. Another 3 Points

So the earphones that came with my Creative Zen have become worn out since there's an exposed section of wire plus the sound has stopped working properly (see pic). And unfortunately Creative won't replace them since apparently the warrenty only covers regular damage and not physical (even though the headphones are less than a year old) So I am now in the hunt for a new pair of headphones/earphones to replace them. Price wise I am looking at no more than £20, they also need to be quite durable as I use it on the bus everyday and I like to wrap the wire round the case of the Zen to keep things tidy. So any ideas?

I remember playing the demo a lot on the demo disc that came with the PS2 and I quite enjoyed it. Will be keeping an eye out on how this game turns out -
Yeah Dig Your Own Hole is really good Every single one of them albums have some really great tracks Songs that spring to mind are Hey Boy Hey Girl, Get Yourself High, The Golden Path and the B-Side Base 6. Their compilation discs "Singles 93-03" is very good, in my opinion better than their latest compilation Brotherhood (considering Brotherhood has more of their recent songs)

Just spent half an hour in my room looking for my wallet that had disappeared a couple of hours ago, no idea how it ended up in my underwear drawer.

Despite the week going quickly, my day today been pretty dull. I found the majority of my lessons today quite hard today and now dreading my weekend consisting of media assignments and other homework. There's a girl I met at the start of Sixth Form who I am growing towards, but I have no confidence in getting her. She's going to a friends party tomorrow but mother and father not allowing me to go So I feel sad.

Basically, if you really only want to be playing competitive games, then you're at the wrong forum. You want Smashboards. Myself personally I only play online now for fun, not really caring if I win or lose because I know that there's plenty of better people out there than me at the game.

Thanks Rez and Dyson My mother will probably explain the absence of gifts this evening I hope. I reckon it is something to do with the fact that my Aunty is staying over or something else.

It's my 17th birthday today, but overall it's been a pretty dreadful day. Had to go into College for an interview before starting Sixth Form on Monday. I don't know if I can get back into that school routine again after so many weeks off because of GCSEs. Plus its been raining all day today In terms of gifts I didn't get any from the family yet, that's probably why I'm feeling a lil low.

Was watching SSN till late last night. It was an incredible transfer deadline day especially because of Man City's new owners. Robinho to Man City is a great surprise, but it'll be nice that their next Premier League match is against Chelsea.

Two key early memories for me, is one was must have been when I was 1 or 2 and I woke up early morning still in my cot, so I glanced at my parents sleeping in the bed in the same room. Then I went back to sleep, very strange that I didn't make a noise. And like several others, I too remember being in the push chair with the plastic cover on because of the rain. Mum was picking up my brother from school and I can remember whereabouts on the pavement we were in the street - close to a junction. I miss those times, much more simpler

The 160GB looks quite nice, apparently it's going to be €50 more than 80GB model so if they are nice to Britain it may only be £30 more than 80GB. With this in mind I may wait to get a PS3 till Xmas Edit: Just heard that 160GB will only be in a bundle? I think the info released so far is not too clear but will have to wait and see.

Am hoping to be getting an 80gig PS3 next month or just before Fifa 09 comes out; I am just wondering whether a PS3 looks fine with the standard composite cables it comes with as my family may not have a HD Ready TV yet. I'll be using a Sony CRT TV which is still rather nice. Thanks

Sorry but I thought the OP was asking about the 360 and which model to get? Well as the new 60gb is out soon and you haven't already bought your own 360 you could consider it. It is priced at £179 on Amazon and Play.com Hope this helps in your decision

I got my Mario keyring! It's so small!! Bit disappointed by it to be honest.

My tactics were generally to buy most of atleast 1 colour of the streets, I also liked setting houses and hotels on the light blue streets like Angel Islington and Euston Road because other players are likely to have the money from passing Go thus meaning I could invest in other places My policy was invest, invest, invest
