Well I was hoping to buy it in town today but they did not have it in Whsmith. While Gamestation had it £5 dearer than online. So I'll buy it online possibly this weekend so expect me with a copy during midweek

Ah ok thanks, it's just that in the videos I've seen. It gave the impression that people have controlled the players on the ball by pointing the cursor at a place on the field instead.

Fair enough really. I never got or had a try of PES 2008 Wii's version which is probably why I found the review informative about the game. I hope there's no lag online + also that people are punished for quitting the game midway through the match.

Maybe this is is karma because you don't seem to learn. You need to make sure that the files are in the right directory otherwise the Wii may not recognise them as a save file.

I own a Wii since the end of December when it launched (2006 I think?) , but I barely play it. I think last time that I played a Wii game was Brawl at New Years. I don't own a PS3 or 360 either. Most of my gaming time is on PES6 on PS2, but the machine is on its last legs again and I don't feel bothered enough to open it up to clean the lens.

I am looking forward to this game, my only wish is that it would be released sooner rather than near the end of the season. Also slightly disappointed by the flat UEFA staff standing behind the players in the above image. I suppose as long it'll help with the cinematic running smoothly without slowdown etc.

I still have my old Motorola e550 as my main phone but looking to upgrade this year. When's the best time to start looking for one with all the new phones coming out. Ideally I'd like one with GPS and built in Wifi for web browsing.

I have my maths c1 exam tomorrow so I've been been revising during a few of my frees and after-school. Will continue after watching The Simpsons. I have my laptop connected to the families 46" TV via HDMi. Its quite special especially when watching videos

I lurked a lot before joining up properly on the forums I have been using N-Europe for many many years since it was Cube-Europe and possibly N64-Europe. But it was only once it was Revo-Europe did I discover the forums. I try not to post too much.don't think I am that cool enough to post regularly :P

My hunt for an official component cable has not been successful so far. Most online stores have it out of stock, and a lot of shops that I have walked into are out of stock too including Game, Gamestation, ASDA. I was able to find one in HMV but it was £28! Does anyone know if there is some sort of widespread shortage of the official cable then? Oh and I now have my Wii (and PS2) hooked up to our old surround sound system. The sound is very very nice (even with just Pro Logic) :awesome: Makes you realise that sound can be just as important as picture quality.
