  1. Hmm I thought I did okay with my tactics, guessed their formation correctly, I set to attack the wings and they set to tighten the centre, but yet another loss. Relegation here I come.
  2. So the only thing that I have done today remotely related to Valentines day is find Heart Pieces in Twilight Princess;)
  3. And that makes it 0 points in the past 3 games. Dyson's amazing players were playing better than their skill rating
  4. I hate how the little things can ruin your day. Received a letter from DSA saying they've had to delay my driving test from 3rd March 14:32 to the 30th March 14:32! A month away would have been the perfect time for me to take the test so I logged back online and now the best date I could move the test to is 16th March at 08:15....Some people say early morning is good, some people say bad. The annoying thing is that they gave no reason to delay my test just "unforeseen circumstances". Plus because I'll be doing the test in my instructors car, I dont think I can just keep checking the dates everyday to re-get an early March date, but I'll ask him in my next lesson. This morning I had a good driving lesson though
  5. I need to get some back to back wins otherwise my season will just end up with another relegation scrap.
  6. Marina and the Diamonds - Family Jewels Pre-ordered £4.95 from Zavvi
  7. A win, A draw and a defeat. Hmm not too bad, does mean I've only had 1 win in my last 9 competitive fixtures. Hoping I turn those draws into wins to have a good chance of promotion, though none of my strikers have scored yet !
  8. Haven't made a post here in a while so just thought I'd post the songs I am currently addicted to...and hopefully Mozilla wont crash a second time while in the middle of putting the post together. Little Boots - Catch 22 Unbelievable that this track is only a bonus song available on the Japanese release of Hands. This is now one of my favourite tracks by her along side Mathematics and Stuck on Repeat. Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed Winner of BBC Sound of 2010, was lucky enough to see her as a warm-up for Little Boots last October. Video is ok, other songs I enjoy by her are Under The Sheets and Wish I Stayed. The Jakwob remixes of her songs are great too. For her album, she has worked closely with her producer Starsmith who I will go on to later. Erik Hassle - Hurtful Also saw Erik Hassle live as a warm-up, the Swedish artist is very popular in his native country but is only now releasing his album here in the UK. The 3 main songs I enjoy from him are Hurtful, Don't Bring Flowers and Bump In The Road. Marina and the Diamonds - Hollywood Came second in BBC Sound of 2010, her songs sound quite unique and amongst several of her tracks, they don't sound great upon first listen, but they really grow on you the more and more you listen to them. The Fenech-Soler remix of this track is great too. Other songs by Marina which are worth a listen are Obsessions, I am Not a Robot, Mowgli's Road and Seventeen. Likely to buy her album sometime, hopefully will go see her live too if mates get into her too:heh: She also had a short 10 minute program about her on Channel 4 on Friday night which is a good watch. Florence + The Machine - Hurricane Drunk Received her album for Christmas, every song is a real grower. Hurricane Drunk is one song I keep coming back to by her as well as You've Got The Love and Cosmic Love. The video for Hurricane Drunk was premièred last Friday too but isn't that amazing in all honesty. Currently the song I use as my alarm in the morning. Starsmith He is a new and upcoming DJ/artist/producer. His remixes are absolutely amazing and can make the original song sound poor! His debut album should be around in late 2010. Some of his remixes: Mika - Blame it on the Girls Paloma Faith - New York Marina and the Diamonds - I am Not A Robot Starsmith - The 'Yes Mate' Mixtape Lady GaGa - Bad Romance Other remixes I like by him but could not find on Youtube are his remixes of Little Boots - New in Town and Private - My Secret Lover.
  9. Just pre-ordered Ellie Goulding's new album for £8.95 on Play.com....usually I wait until albums goes down in price, but the clincher was that this edition is a signed one Have to wait and see when I'll buy Erik Hassle and Marina & The Diamonds debut albums.
  10. I quite like the little things they've updated in the interface such as the running order for captains and free kicks as well as the match experience + average form popping up when you hover over a player when setting tactics. Pleased with the victory on Tuesday, hoping it's a sign of things to come.
  11. Wow so so close at the end of the season. I was so excited when inspirational defender Morris Drynan put us 1-0, but I was dreading finding out the other scores when we ended up drawing 1-1. Incredibly tight, can't believe we survived thanks to a last minute free-kick by Marvin Standen of DuDs Baggies. Thank You Marvin
  12. Could be relegated if I'm not careful, another defeat
  13. 2 losses today. Missed a good chance to go level on points at the top of the middle league.

    SNOW!

Pretty thick yesterday morning. Was about 18cm on grass.
  15. Things are looking up 2-0 win with Silverdale and 1-0 away win with my Xpert team
  16. Interesting game, played all 4 of my strikers. My star forward gets injured early on and is out until Xmas Eve (). And a teenage defender comes on in his place and plays upfront, and scores a goal . I feel like my season is much akin to Liverpool's....so much potential at the start but now fading away, currently in the bottom 3 after my 4th draw of the season. On the upside, my Xpert team won 3-1
  17. Yeah Play.com. not sure if its a one day deal or a one week deal.
  18. £4.95 with the aid of a £10 voucher I had
  19. The middle league is far harder this season
  20. Not a good day in the Xpert Eleven office. Lost 3-0 and 4-0 in the games today. Oh and 2 of my players got injured early in the match
  21. Just to let you guys know PES 2010 is £18 on Zavvi.com as part of its Mega Monday deals. So this is a one day deal. http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/nintendo-wii/pro-evolution-soccer-2010/10042542.html
  22. Quick question, can players develop new special skills as they age?
