Yesterday was fantastic, saw Little Boots in Brighton with couple of mates. She was incredible and we were right at the front!

Slowly working my way through LBP, really enjoyable. The levels are so fun to play and am impressed with the user content too. Stephen Fry is awesome too. Need to make myself time to create my own level though before I get PES on Friday. Is anyone getting PES 2010 btw? I don't want to turn this into a PES v Fifa, will just be good to have some matches with fellow N-Europe members

Has anyone experienced previous trouble with 1080p? Whenever I set the PS3 Slim to it white dot start appearing scrambling parts of the screen. 1080i/720p works fine so I am on 720p at the moment, but would like to use 1080 since the TV is supposed to support it.

Just picked up a slim in Tesco for £229 Won't open until I've done some work and got some games. What 1 or 2 games should I consider while waiting for PES2010?

Having seen the unpacking video on here as well as the unpacking photos on Kotaku, I've changed my mind and think it looks quite nice. Pretty much sold now and will buy one once its released. Hope PES 2010 or Fifa 10 comes out soon too.

Went to a wedding reception last night which was quite fun. Does make you feel kinda lonely when you watch the couples slow dancing to each other, but nonetheless was a nice evening. Sadly probably going to have to quit my part-time job in the next few days firstly to concentrate on college when it starts again in September, but there's also some issues that's been happening at work Will be so lame when I'm no longer earning money again. I think my day today will consist of resting up from last night as well as doing some more Paper Mario.

Had a driving lesson today which was ok. Went into fourth gear and 50 mph for the first time, felt good But I go too fast into some junctions and need to slow down. When I got back home; the One For All remote came in the post which I bought from eBay to make our newer DVD players multiregion. It was a success!

Yeh I recommend uninstalling DVDx then reinstall it using the latest Hackmii installer file. That's what I did and is now very smooth. Still can't press any dvd menus yet though :p

Sony X-Bass Headphones. £17.99. (But used a £10 voucher given to me to make it £7.99 on Play.com:yay:) It was really hard to decide which new earphones to go for, in the end decided between these and the Sennheiser's CX300 II. Went for the Sony's since a family member has a CX300 already

well I installed Bootmii went fine. At the same time reinstalled DVDx to I think a later edition which has made dvd playback very smooth! Just like playing on a normal DVD player. Then updated Wii to 4.1, that seemed to have stopped the HBC from working, so I had to reinstall HBC using Bannerbomb which was a success Everything fine and running as well as having NAND backups of the Wii in its current state and also while on 3.3. Quick question though, how do I press the different buttons on a DVD menu when using Mplayer CE?

Got a friendly lined up with Secret United managed by Moria. Playing most of my reserves so I think I might get slaughtered. Suppose it'll be a warning for how my future games will end up :p
