Hhhhhmmmm, as an Arsenal fan, that was an interesting one to watch, particularly Riise's own goal. I do feel kinda sorry for Liverpool, I do feel 1-0 was just, but I feel particularly sorry for Riise, on as a sub, defending a difficult ball he knew he had to clear... Next week will be very interesting.

I guess it's fair to say this is an early build so we'll see what it looks like later down the line. I think what is getting people hyped is the idea, no one is really coming with (as they say) a "mature" title, an FPS at that, so the fact a company is (and appears to be making an effort with it) is fresh. Titles with this idea are few and far between at the mo, so it's a bigger deal when one comes along. Lets see how it pans out, if it's decent, a lot of people would be satisfied as it is a step in a direction that needs to be tapped. EDIT - And then darksnowman came right before me

So with the word that Wii Fit won't be counted in software sales in N.A. I wonder if it will be the same over here? There is no denying how successful it will be, it will be interesting to see the numbers. I'll have to wait atleast a week before I can purchase this though, still kind of excited.

I see, I've always thought that it depends on the points of the others you're playing against too. So at 8,000 points, if you play against a group of people who around the 7,000 point range, then you're more likely to get points even when coming 3rd and 4th than you are if you're playing against people who all have around 5,000 points. Maybe I'll pay attention to other peoples points and put it to the test.

:lol: Well Rainbow Road is difficult at first, the amount of times I fell the first couple of times I raced on that track were ridiculous (my first few experiences were online though, with me trying not to lose any speed), but I think it is easier than previous Rainbow Road tracks to get use to and race effectively... providing you don't get killed my numerous items

Why how many points do you have Serebii? My guess is over 7,500?

I think its based on your points total and also the people you are facing. So if you're with a group of people who have a high amount of points relative to yours then you'll get a high amount of points, even when coming 2nd.

You saying that makes me want to partially cry!!! I got there at 7pm (1 hour later than I hoped), and I saw the TV crew leaving! I asked someone about the costume competition and they said that had finished not long ago! I dressed up as Mario (I did it in the end), plus I saw two Links, a Toad and a Chomp (I don't think that was your friend though). But hey, I got a picture with Charles Martinez as well as spoke to him, he signed the game and the notepad for me and I got a picture with the event costume Mario (my twin, it's definately going up on the net ), so all weren't too bad. But most importantly... I got Galaxy , although it'll be a couple hours before I can play it for the first time.

I just called them up, and they said that if you wanted to get a Wii with Mario Galaxy, then your name has to be on the list, if you just want the game, then all you have to do is pop in between 6-9pm. So nothing to worry about.

Wow, a few people in that 'can't play right away section' Thursday should hopefully be a solid play night for me... otherwise I'll have to wait until Sunday/Monday!!

Great!! So I am not the only one definately attending the Oxford street one. I'll have my DS too, name D-Day (makes sense ), so I'll look out for you! I'll be dressed kinda like mario, Red Jumper and cap, blue jeans (don't think I'll bother with the dungarees ) Note for anyone else attending the Oxford Street one tomorrow too. Oh, and quick question, is it a line up early kind of thing like Wii launch night or not?

That's the same place I saw the PalGN review and then posted that on here. I thought others knew of metacritic, that's why I never posted it up. It is a fantastic all-round site though. Gamespot could never have really trashed this, the music is orchestrated .
