  1. I was going to say the sam thing, then I remembered we did get the likes of Tingle's DS adventure hitting PAL territory, and from what I played that was pretty random. But then again, this is the Wii and it is a different kind of randomness!
  2. Well Animal Crossing is what we've all been saying for a while, but Punch-Out!! Superb! Since Wii Sports I guess a number of us have thought Punch-Out could be resurrected! How I'm hoping. Back when the 64 had minimal titles after release, I survived on Pilotwings. Keeping my fingers crossed for making some kind of comeback eventually.
  3. I haven't read all of it myself (it is a huge collection of text!) But I've skimmed quite a bit. What caught me the most is the 'disruptive' bit. Arguably, we've had a number of bridge-like titles from Nintendo (MK Wii and Wii Sports to some capacity to name a couple) with it having some kind of shine, and not just being a dumb-it-down quick fix title. There is definitely a missing link here between Nintendo and most other third parties when it comes to that playground, and with third parties seemingly continuing down that line, will they catch on?
  4. Mushrooms... Cream... Sauce... DONE! Lol (I wonder how many people have a certain "F Word" for this news) Ah so true! I was going to say the same thing... but err, to give Ubisoft a tiny bit of credit, I guess this will find some audience. But you just knew that this title would have come from them (I don't need to say anymore).
  5. FINALLY!! http://msnsport.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11670_3805050,00.html Well, this really does pave the way for Hleb to move, but if the guy is going to moan about life in the capital and how it effects him then he may aswell leave. I just hope what he said about Wenger and Fabregas isn't true, otherwise that is pretty low. Ha ha, that's so true... although I do have one
  6. Control wise, it looked really good, smooth handling in terms of maneuvering and with the weaponry. They did ensure quite a bit was happening in the video which is promising, and there wasn't a sign of the frame rate dropping (not that we'd expect that from a video they're showing off!). The graphics do look good too. I shall definitely carry on following the development of this title.
  7. Yeah, I wonder what kind of exposure this will get at E3 from Nintendo in general. Either way, we should learn quite a bit about this. I'm dying to see a trailer as we'd obviously get the real gist of this game, but from the scans and pics, it's really looking cool.
  8. Although it's just a patent design and will more than likely never see the light of the day (well in that form atleast, maybe as part of some other idea Nintendo will push through), it's really bad. It does look like a messed up GC controller, and whilst the GC controller is arguably the most comfortable controller ever made, that looks like it would be pretty uncomfortable. And I'm hoping that really wouldn't have been the slot for the Wiimote, because as darkjak said, it would be heavy at the front. Edit: Oh, cheers Konfucius
  9. Sometimes I daydream, 50% of the times its 'That's So Raven' esque (yeah, sometimes I watch it ), but it it doesn't really turn out like that... for some reason. Dreams are a different story, but I get a healthy (and unhealthy) dose of dreams and nightmares
  10. Well as a PS3 owner too, I guess I'll talk about Sony too. I think tapedeck has really hit the nail on the head for what a majority of PS3 owners hope to get from E3, but I seriously doubt we'll get much of anything regarding Home. It would be nice, but the nature of Home and from what Sony came out with last year within their presentation (plus small bits of updates here and there and broken promises), I really doubt it. I think we'll see a bit more of the PS3's potential unlocked, maybe in the form of downloadable TV shows and movies, but I think it will definitely be in the form of something key that Microsoft doesn't have going with the 360, something that doesn't come under the games sector (just not quite sure what). The ones I put in bolds are definites in my opinion. Overall though, we'll just have to wait and see.

    Sadness

I know I'm a little late on the bandwagon but I can't help but mention that this has totally made my day, I lulzed so hard at that. I wonder if this will be implented into Sadness in some way...?
  12. So very true, it is afterall the written agreement that BOTH sides have to abide by, but as Raining again said, they will twist it to how they see fit. I think the letter is great (apart from the grammatical points others have already highlighted) and I wish you the best of luck with it. Fight the System!!
  13. Well Done Rafa, but you have to give it to Federer, he almost snatched it from when it looked like Nadal would have won in three straight sets. Terribly unlucky Federer, but well done Nadal
  14. Nadal broke Federer's serve... oh man.
  15. I don't have a job at the moment, so I definitely agree :-P I can't believe its been cut when the score is totally even! DAMN RAIN!!!
  16. Federer is leading for the first time all match!!!!
  17. OH ROGER!!! ROGER, ROGER, ROGER!!! That was flipping AMAZING!!
  18. A number of these points concern me but as an avid Xianghua user, the three points I've highlighted in bold are what concern me the most, although I will be the first to admit that for the type of character Xianghua is, her game was amazingly propelled ahead of others, because they made her move set stronger in 3 compared to 2 (not that I really complained ). I just hope its only a tone down of her strength and nothing else. I too agree that SC on the DC was the best because it was so tight as a fighting game, and really showed how 3d fighters should be when it was released. Still one of my favourite games ever to this day, but 2 is fantastic.
  19. This truly does suck! I may have to import a game for the first time with my Wii. Regardless of what the games like, its fan service, and with that in mind, from all the trailers and videos I've seen, I'd enjoy it. So True
  20. I hope Man United don't get Jan Huntelaar, I'm a huge fan of the dude and I believe he could replicate what he does for Ajax outside of Holland. It would be great for Man Utd but I'd hate to see it happen. I know Arsenal were reportedly monitoring the situation with him and Ajax (besides, with this whole stupid Adebayor saga... one can hope )
  21. If I say "Lion" does that help at all? Anyway, goodluck (seeing as today is now the day). And Olympic gamer, I believe it would just be classified as an unfortunate incident... in some respects :-P (its just jokes ) Oh, and I must comment on this epic trade off between Olymic Gamer and Lazy_Boy, I'll be lolling all the way to bed.
  22. I'm guessing I may have been the only one who kind of laughed when he said: Anyway though, it's great we have confirmation. Never played skate but it was one thta I followed quite closely and now it's coming on to the Wii (and DS). And more confirmed balance board support too. If it all goes well (meaning developer implementation), the balance board definitely looks like a good investment in the long run. Overall, great stuff!
  23. Hhhhmmmm, OK kind of random but still in relation. If someone was able to grab another G-Con for this, is it true you wouldn't be able to both play with it if you have 40GB PS3 due to the number of USB ports? Where as you could if you had the 60GB version. Just wanted to clarify as I know some real fans out there would both love to experience two player action with both wielding G-Con Guns.
  24. I'm a huge fan of the recent DS Castlevania's but I can't remember Castlevania 64 (I guess barely playing it may be the reason). One to look out for then to relive! But I do agree Hero-of-Time, music has always been top notch, I for one would love to see a new Castlevania on the Wii, and the DS ones haven't done me wrond thus far.
  25. I've picked this up today and I've played it for about an hour (I'm on it right now). I must say, I am absolutely loving this game!! It really is worth it, and I do agree with Hellfire. It's great, simple usage of the Wii-remote to go hand-in-hand with this physics system puzzler. It is (as people tend to say) a great "casual" (as loose as that term is) and core game alike. Simple and charming, and very addictive.
