It's rubbish for a variety of reasons, but might've worked as just an album track. But it's just a bad melding together of a good dance song (Pon De Floor) and some awful lyrics/melodies. It starts off promising but yeah. Nope. Hasn't grown on me, and I think she's pretty decent (at least).

Superman was generally depicted as substantially weaker in the DCAU/DCUA just to give him some sort of challenge in fighting his villains. Which I liked. But I do remember his speed just coming into play/being forgotten when it's convenient. I watched most of Batman Beyond Season 1 (as in skipped 1 or 2 I'd seen a million times or didn't work). I think the ideas are better than the actual execution, but I'm dealing. I'll keep on with Season 2. Inque is done brilliantly, there's a real feeling of "fuuuuuuuuck". Of course she makes no sense, she could kill anyone in a second, but chooses to slap with/hit them with hammers etc, but then it IS a cartoon...

A Post In which Paj! furiously wanks over Homogenic (1997) by Björk Guðmundsdóttir Homogenic is one of the best albums by anyone ever. A 90's album that sounds completely timeless. Could have been made in any time period. Everytheng, everytheng in it's right place. The cover = Suck ma pusseh a-holes, if u dare. Opening salvo is Hunter. Fucked. I've yet to hear a track that rivals this. The beats. Fucked. Then straight into Joga? I'm breathless. One of her definitive songs, and one of her most epic. Emotional landscapes. then the album ends with this pair- (In proper quality, loud - *death*. ) And then of course the album ends with the most briliant song with the best music video ever. Though the album version is different, in order to make aural sense after Pluto. Sometimes I watch that video and just stare out to space afterwards. Trust your head around. It's all around you. All is full of love. You just ain't receiving. The most powerful song I've ever heard? Most powerful video I've ever seen? We don't deserve this album. Why have we been given this gift? I'm so scared.

Hope you're ok Iun. --- Went to see the house we've put a deposit down on, because we never got to see the small(er) bedroom properly last time. I was as satisfied as before, only the spectre of deciding who gets the smaller room hung over me (and 2 of my other future flatmates), but 1 decided to go all depressed and unsure and eurgh.
