The poster/official promo image for Lars Von Trier's Melancholia, for which Kirsten Dunst won Best Actress at Cannes (considering Bjork won best actress for Von Trier's Dancer in the Dark, this bodes extremely well!). Found out today the prospective July UK release date has now changed to 30 September. HOWEVER it means I can have my birthday party be a cinema trip to see Melancholia! Woo!

But..you'd in most/all? cases be increasing speed so your ATTACKS would land before the oponents. But..why not just attack instead of increasing your speed so they MIGHT (not a guarantee of course) land sooner next time? Just means you take two attacks while only dishing out 1. (or none, if your speed still isnt above the opponents) I'm sure there's some finesse tactic to use it with, but I've never come across a need to increase or decrease any Pokemon's speed. Nice if it's a side-effect (like of Flame Charge), but as the WHOLE point of a move - I don't get it. If a move drastically lowers my speed, meaning the opposing poke can attack straight after...how is that any different from just attacking me the turn before instead of lowering my speed?

It is useful to be faster, but I still have absolutely NO idea what the purpose of moves that increase/decrease speed are. What a waste of a turn...

Born This Way - I enjoy this quite a lot now. Government Hooker - I love. Judas - Grown on me loads. Americano - A joke to hear in my ears. Hair - Better than I remember. Also meh. Scheiße - YES. Bloody Mary - Fine/I don't remember it. Black Jesus †Amen Fashion - A joke. Conveys a runwau/fashion show well...I assume that's the intention... Bad Kids - Remember bits, but yeah, Fine. Fashion Of His Love - Bonus, but really cool. Highway Unicorn - I can't remember it. Heavy Metal Lover - I love. Sounds like something else (like most of her stuff). Electric Chapel - I enjoy this a lot. A nice change of pace. The Queen - Definition of bonus (it is a bonus track). Nothing wrong with it, but too similar to other, better ones on the album. Fine/ inessential in every way. You And I - Good, sounds like Shania Twain though (but not Shania enough :p ) and quite...taxing to listen to. The Edge Of Glory - Good/reasonably enjoyable. The entire album is very LOUD and basically punches you to death as you listen to it. You and I is the "ballad" and that's saying something.

Didn't I post here earlier? Strange. I basically just said I watched The Monster Ball HBO Special and was blown away - much better than I expected. Not sure what I expected though. 1st half is better than the rest. But yeah - seems that live is where the whole concept of Lady Gaga really thrives. Would definitely go see her live next time.
