Yah. Considering his Joker is nothing like the one in The Killing Joke or Arkham Asylum:ASHOSE, both of which were BIG comics around the time of Burton's Batman. And Catwoman in Returns was nothing like the more grounded character they established in the late 80's/early 90's. They reinvented her as a former prostitute inspired by Batman, who had to work her way up by stealing. Sure villains can be interpreted as one will, but she's far more akin to the 60's Catwoman, but updated.

I recognise that Aguilera has a voice worth hearing, and that she is more of her own person artistically than her peers...but she overplays her voice in most of her stuff, I find. I did appreciate the Aguilera track I got in my mixtape from D-Day, it reminded me of how fun she can be.

Note; I'd prefer you loved Bjork before you quote her, she's too good to touch unnecesarily. Soz bee. I mean, there are degrees of music quality...there's no denying that. Howeve,r enjoyment is a different thing. Once talking within the realms of "good", things blur acceptably between individuals. Since this song is obviously worse than However, some people might find Radiohead kinda depressing or whatever, and prefer to just enjoy dancing around to innocent dance-pop. Cascada's kinda an extreme example, though. Just demonstrating that there's definitely 2 seperate camps.

Batman: The Animated Series - Episode 4 "The Last Laugh" I've finally got the first series in order, and It's interesting to see how shit Joker was done early on. This and his other episode on the first disc are the worst by far. Batman felt really out-of-character too. 5/10 -
I got Ida Maria's debut album, Fortress Round My Heart. It's alright on first listen. Dunno why she's getting juzzed over by NME though.

Nope. Best fun without entering the realm of silliness, but doesn't come close to Dark Knight. Both as a film, and as a faithful adaptation of Batman.

Batman responsible for Rachel's death? Fuck is this? He's not responsible for anything that happened to her. Both she and Harvey woukd have died, so all Batman is responsible for is "saving" Harvey. I'd love to hear how they explain that. I mean...I suppose in the Nolanverse, we never see him quick-change IIRC, but in Batman Returns, he rips off his mask, and the eyemakeup is mysteriously gone. -- OBLIGATORY BLACK MASK REFERENCE

I rate both on how good a film is, and how much I enjoyed it/found it entertaining in some way. I'd give a film like the fairly blah Daredevil 6/10, as I found it entertaining, liked watching it, however, it's fairly bland story/plot wise. (Random example) I think I enjoy a film more if it's also technically amazing.

Just watch the list Oxigen posted. They're the best. Though I like Burton's 2 Batman films too. --- I also enjoy the trashier comic films too, like Fantastic 4 1 and 2, Daredevil and Superman Returns has it's moments, though is a bit dull.

True, he's shit. Although the the first film is actually quite enjoyable. ---- Burton's Batman films are great fun, but Batman can't even fight properly in it. He ducks, spin-kicks a few times and flips people over. They're a load of fun, and have a great style, and he definitely made Penguin a credible villain compared to his classic corny character. However, they aren't "Batman" enough. He's gone on record to say he'd never actually read Batman before making the films.

Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm I love this film...just how good/bad Phantasm actually is, and his unexplained his powers are. I do love the animated series in general, though. 7/10

Thanks, and Roisin is great. --- Have you got any of the singles? I love my Innocence one. I don't have high hopes for the video...3 totally seperate, unconnected parts edited together...? Maybe it'll work. Dunno though. They've now released all the best songs off the album, IMO. Except Vertebrae by Vertebrae. ---- I quite like CSS's new album Donkey. It'll take a few listens for me to decide, though.
