I know what you mean, but I suppose I see it in the way that 4 sequels exist, and considering other series with as many installments always fall off the wagon inevitably, I think PotA keeps on a good path...it's cohesive, and they all fit. Obviously the second one probably intended to tie it all up, but it did it so annoyingly, more were made, I guess. N.B The original in on Channel 5 tonight! Actually, I just got back from HMV, where I bought Burton remake.

I find a guy at school who imitates it funnier than the actual program. I watched a clip of a woman wanting to buy tickets to Alanis Morissette, which was quite funny, the way that whenever the automated machine said "Alanis...Morissette.." a picture of a random woman from the 50's playing a banjo appeared.

I had never seen any of them, and had no interest in them really. Mildly interested in the Burton remake, since I liked his stuff, but not enough to buy it. Then randomly, I was reading SFX in the school library, and they had a small thing about PotA due to Heston's passing (I think), and suddenly I felt an overwhelming urge to see it. So I went into town afterwards, and purely by coincidence, the entire series was reduced to £7! I metaphorically came in my pants. Then a little bit literally.

Well obviously Cornelius and Zhira were godly in this, but they had very little screen time. Plus it got too bogged down in stuff that felt very anti-climactic. The various deaths...the end in general...I dunno. I didn't think they needed a Taylor wannabe as the main protagonist, when Charlton Heston was in it anyway. I just think the first one dealt with the simian future more successfully, and everything looks worse when compared to the amazing 3rd film.

Battle For The Planet Of The Apes I love how none of films feels unnecesarry in the grand scheme, and I like how this film shows that the timeline has been altered from the future we originally saw, but leaves us with an ominous final image. A bigger budget would have heloed this a lot...Ape City looked more like a very small camp site. However, Roddy McDowall was awesome as ever. 7/10 ----- After seeing them all; I'd finalise the ratings as this; Planet Of The Apes 8/10 Beneath The Planet Of The Apes 5.9/10 Escape From The Planet Of The Apes 8.9/10 Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes 7/10 Battle For The Planet Of The Apes 7/10 All in all, and awesome deal, 5 films and the behind the scenes disc for £7!

The fourth I consider just a fun film to watch when I'm sad, lol! Yeah Alien and Aliens are suitably retouched/extended whatnot, and Alien3 has the Factory Cut, which is a lot better, although they change the ending slightly. I have a fetish for both Xenomorphs and Sigourney Weaver though, so I'm biased.

Alien gets you +5 internets. If you'd bought the Alien Quadrilogy, however, that would have got you +20 internets in the kitty.

Although I don't hate it because it's not a copy of the old bond sound (which it seems many do), it's just an empty song. It has no punch. I like the sound of it, but the lyrics don't work...not punch at all voice-wise either, strange considering the 2 singers on it.

lol I love you. ----- Been listening to the new Britney song, to see what her "comeback" was about (how many comebacks does she need...?), and it's probably one of the worst, laziest songs ever. It's a catchy enough shitty pop song, but really, there's cheesy, then there's laughably bad. ----- Just because they're an amazing experience to see live; Actually a great show to go see, interactive and sense disorientating.

Nice message, but the lyrics are pretty bland, to be honest. I can think of much better lyrics to songs with the same message.

Last year, I tried to go as a Facehugger victim, but It didn't work, so I ended up going as myself, only with guyliner on. Felt really pointless. But then no one actually cares about hallowe'en here.

Every girl I know has a really annoying character flaw that's put on, so feels really pointless even having.

Had another rehearsal session for our division play, but I HATE THAT WE CAN NEVER HAVE ALL THE CAST TOGETHER AT ONE TIME! This is a commitment, for eff's sake. Anyway. Tres funny, and tres compicated too. It's based around the running in and out of approximately 9 different rooms, and on a black set, we have to try and convey an upstairs and downstairs, which will be annoying. ---- I love my 4-day Sketchbook...we were challenged to fill an A6 book in a week, but I didnt start until 4 days in basically, but I did it in 4 days, and love it.

I might have said this before, but I remember being strangely entranced by the HSM float in one of the parades in DisneyWorld last christmas, the song "What Time Is It?" I think. And I confess to listening to listening to Zac Efron's songs from Hairspray. Apart from that, it's awful.
