  1. I see what you are on about, but I really mean that I like a whole range of music, including good pop and pop/rock, when people often seem to disregard you IF you like that at all.
  2. I do have a real view on music, as well as liking good pop/rock music... Stuck On Repeat by Little Boots is awesome, it was free on iTunes a few days ago, dunno if it still is. Come Into My World (Fischerspooner Remix) "by" Kylie Minogue is my newest favourite remix. I would also recommend Fischerspooner in general. Under The Gun by Supreme Beings Of Leisure is also awesome, but a bit more "loungey" than "dancey". also Hands Around My Throat by Death In Vegas.
  3. *cries* I'm going to stab a bitch. That's all there is to it. --- I'm listening to the legendary F.U.R.B by Frankee. Remember that? The response song to Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back) by Eamon.
  4. Yes. (IIRC) I mean, that's Michael Keaton, so I'm assuming so. (Long time since I saw the film though)
  5. Annoying me. I came 4th in Special Cup on 150cc, in an attempt to unlock Daisy. I love how I somehow came 3rd on Rainbow Road though, considering I was 12th most of the way.
  6. I just read Lady Gaga's "origin story", and while I suppose it makes her more credible than most other female artists at the moment, the fact is, she's not making interesting music...or even particularly good pop/dance music. She may have been part of the indie scene, but made pop music, but there's no indie sensibilities in her pop music. That would have been something to hear. It's just got pretty generic lyrics (some ok ones, some atrocious ones) and lot's of filler with excellent, consistant production. I think Miley Cyrus's debut album last year is a lot better as a listen, for a young female singer. Her voice is more interesting, and it doesn't come across as fake. (yada yada Disney, but fact is, the songs are rock-driven, with good lyrics written or co-written by her and actually showcases her mature voice)
  7. Allthough I look way worse without a fringe, I think I've developed an allergic to mine. Well, if I can get my hair to look like it has a decent fringe, that is. Usually, It's a frsutrating mess that I want to hack off with a carving knife. But yeah. Not fringes annoy my forehead eyes. That might just be when it's hot, or when my hair is greasy though.
  8. I love. I just imagined you as some general in the middle of a war zone, brooding over the plan of action in your poorly erected tent thing, as a messenger from the trenches informs you that the army of lesbian robots had been crushed, while the tiny teen rock queens were still intact. Literally going against the best-laid plans.
  9. In some ways I love though. Admittedly not my favourite fringe ever, but throwback/bad hairstyles do make me chuckle in a loving manner.
  10. You evidently work in a room for the life. --- I've decided what I'm doing for my school talent show. It's half just singing a cover of a quite bad Liz Phair song, half performance art, dealing with the side of paedophilia people seem to forget about; the predatory young girl. Basically twisting the lyrics and dressing up in the junior girls uniform. Could be poon far though, as it's making a statement no one wants to hear, as severa young girls (including my sister) have been approached by old guys innapropriately outside the school gates. It was late. It felt funny.
  11. Even so... A friend of mine (well...loosely speaking) is 19, yet in my year (no one really knows why), and she's a bit bonkers. She has breakdowns and stuff all the time. Frankly, I'd prefer that one of those breakdowns wasn't going to end in her shooting people at school...
  12. Yeah, North America. Unles you're telling me that Canada don't sell guns to teenagers, this is possibly true...I thought they did. Let me check.
  13. I dunno, it just disturbs my eyes. Not as much as MASSAI emo ones though.
  14. I'll tune into that when it comes out here, if it's available on any freeview channels. Dunno if it looks like the kinda thing that'll last, but we'll see.
  15. I love how you don't seem to care that much, or at least show it in your post. Still. Fun times, eh? You gotta love North America's love affair with the ability to kill hundreds of people with relative ease. *grumbles*
  16. So? I assumed everyone already knew we lived within one big hologram...? I mean, It's kinda obvious when I can do this... *fades, crackles, turns 2-D, then blinks out of existance*
  17. You, too, have what I call a "pointless fringe". You arguably suit it, though, so I'll be silent for the next few years.

    Sexism

Just came to mind being on a Nintendo forum. I think I really just meant it was a good thing as it's progession toward equality/fairness between the sexes etc. (Can't remember my original post) I HATE the "emo" boy too, where it's impossible to tell what gender it is, too. That's taking a really bad joke too far, In my eyes. --- I don't think there'll never not be a stigma attached to men who dress "effeminately" or just strangely when they're among men who don't. Until it's like one of those Utopian visions of the future, where we all wear the same kind of grey jumpsuit.
  19. I never really doubted it, shame there was a hassle though.

    Sexism

You're probably right. I just noticed in my peers/current fashion.
  21. *vomits at price* Seriously? I mean...it's a black, plain polo shirt..? If it was a luminous, or equally fun one, I could see the price being slightly more worth it. (I know they do most things in that traffic warden yellow, which is awesome)
  22. It's her best "uplifting one". But not her best overall, no. However, she is an expert at balancing screeching rock and quiet, peaceful songs. PJ Harvey easily. I'm intiguied by Nick Cave, but this isn't particularly endearing.

    Sexism

Though REALLY minor, I think the recent shift to it being "normal" for men to be really skinny and wear skinny jeans (associated with women before) and cardigans (on younger men) seems to be moving in the right direction. It's obviously just fashion, but it's a bit more androgynous and stuff.
  24. We Float - PJ Harvey The Curse of Millhaven - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds ------- Round 2 Match 1:Placebo vs. Eagles Of Death Metal Match 2: Tegan & Sara vs. Fall Out Boy Match 3: Match 4: Match 5:
