  1. Secretary It was very good, and original. I liked the message it put accross...for some people (and an excellent Maggie Gylenhaal), inflicting pain, or having pain inflicted isn't just self-indulgent...or if it is, should we frown upon it if it ultimately does that person good? Some quirky humour in there too. And full-frontal nudity from Maggie. But I don't think she's that hot. And it was a tender scene, so it wasn't sleazy. 8/10
  2. Could be a joke just ravishing her for the sake of it.

    Question

  4. Isn't it unbelievably hard to get a job there? I seem to remember some gimmick years ago where you had to win an interview or something...
  5. I hate that it's centered around Star Wars though...as It's quite uninteresting to be a fanboy of. But the most known of the big fanboy things, and thereofre makes a better plot. The cameos looks good. Does that mean Carrie Fisher is in it?!
  6. I agree that Wanted is a "marmite" film, to an extent. I thouroughly enjoyed it for what it was. However my dad detested it (we share similar tastes in music/films), and I can see why. He doesn't like pointlessly violent things/things that glorify what Wanted glorifies.
  7. Loved it. He's a crap singer who produces the most boring shit I've ever heard in my life in any case. She's a bit better than him.
  8. I wouldn't agree totally with chair...however, Red hair on a beautiful person pwns everything else.
  9. Desperate Housewives Season 5 Last episode. Missed this on TV, so just bought it off iTunes last night. It was ok, nothing special. It's not that great a show, compared to like...Brothers & Sisters, the other running series I watch.
  10. Yeah, you're completely right..what a munter...
  11. Ok...lots of art, decent amount done in DT, but the teachers are complete oafs. The woman is mildly annoyed at how much I've missed due to being il recently/study leave, so she asked for me to come in during lunch, take my wood+mould out of the suction bag, and then set up the next one. Fair enough, easy peasy. But she, like usual forgot she ever said that, and just locked the Design Tech. workshop. Oh well. it's her fault... TOMORROW IS THE COURSEWORK DEADLINE FOR ART. Got to finish loads tonight and then during the day tomorrow.
  12. I literally said "excluding when Girls Aloud first got famous" or whatever. Now;
  13. Let's not tell lies, Cheryl Cole is stunning. I think since her "solo" fame, she's gone a bit mad with the huge hair etc, but she's far and away the most beautiful member. The rest are ok. (incl. Nicola) --- Song Of The Day: All Mine by Portishead I got their self-titled second album last of the three, and being how old it is, it shares more similarities with Dummy than with Third. I adore the fact that these lyrics subtly suggest a distrubing sense of this love..along with the amazing voice of Beth Gibbons and the big band sample. Epic on a loud volume. The video is suitably dark too. "Tethered and tied, there's nowhere to hide.. From me. All mine..."
  14. More votes would be nice.
  15. A lovely book, if hard going. Amazing though. Not finished it, but the style and issues/concepts dealt with are very true and interesting to see in book form.
  16. Nicola Roberts is not ugly! She was unnattractive in the first promo shots of her in the Group, about 5 years ago. People shouldn't be allowed to be so picky. --- That Green Day cover is rubbish, as it's just riding on how "cool" Banksy (et all) is. Plus title is shit.
  17. What he said. They've done some pretty wild genre/style mashing along the way.
  18. I don't have the album, and haven't listened to anything other than the singles. I just don't understand the hype at all, as they seem like the least interesting girl band the UK has ever produced. Excluding the fact that a few are sexy.
  19. Amazing the stuff Super-dickery has. Very funny site.
  20. Walt Disney Boardwalk, Orlando, Florida I find these pictures absolutely stunning. Not just because I took them, lol, but because they're like a painted landscape. It was a beautiful evening to be walking along the peaceful boardwalk with my family, then having an amazing dinner.
  21. Ha ha! As far as Eurotrash goes, I'm happy with Alice Deejay and Vengaboys thanks...lol that was like a trip back to 1998. At least it's for a good cause.
  22. Ok, that's good. Then you have a (mildly) informed opinion. Doesn't mean it's not good though. :p It's a damn good pop album, changing the sound slightly in each song, almost every one being very catchy, with good (and in some cases controversial) lyrics and her pretty awesome voice. I don't like a lot of stuff I know is decent or good. But me not liking it doesn't make it bad.
  23. Because that album is unusually (no pun intended) good. I only knew her from her 2 big songs, and she's a lot more interesting outwith them. I'm not her biggest fan...not much interest in any of her other albums, but I'm just saying. It's 80's pop, but actually decent and passionate. Do you have the album?
