  1. Can I boz it? I remember quite liking a few of her demo songs I heard ages ago? ---- Haggis, that Kelly Clarkson song is alright, and I'll probably get the album...I've always liked her in general.
  2. Back To The Future Only seen this once before, 6 years ago. I think it's a bit overrated nowadays, or at least looked at with rose-tinted glasses. It's very patchy in it's pace and plot, with some bits being genuinely fun, and the rest being a bit "Hmmm...no thanks". Basically all the good stuff was the 50's stuff, except the terrible climax to that section. Doc Brown was ridiculously overrated, to the point of inefficiency and stupidity, which annoyed me almost as much as Michael J Fox's physical appearance, which isn't dissimilar to a quite short lesbian woman. But the high points were good. I might look up the next one if it's better. 6/10
  3. Watched the trailer for Sex Drive out of interest...it was indeed fairly dire. Not funny, or even cute/quirky, which can save films like that. I hate not having libraries of DVD's to watch like some of friends, since I love just watching films. I might start rewatching Sarah Connor Chronicles Series 1... / Looking through my personal DVD's, I realised I haven't watched Back To The Future since I was 11. I'll watch it now. Only seen it once, don't remember much...
  4. Thanks guys, I managed to beat her, it just needed a bit of focus and as you said, gauging.
  5. The first album isn't that from what I remember, a nice relaxing song called Blue Afternoon though. Come And Get It is much better. So Good's opening is orgasmic. One of the first albums I had when I first started to love music properly. Listened to it on repeat all the time in 2004! Not listened to much outside the title track for a long time though.
  6. I liked one Matt and Kim song that came on. However, I'm mainly using Spotify to listen to other music than the playlist. But it's a nice collection.
  7. Ok, well I'm not letting anyone from the NHS Dental Institute I just visited near my tongue... Ushered casually into a hard to navigate room b ya rude receptionist, greeted by this random guy (Arabian? Egyptian?), who I assumed must be Dr.Maldon. He could barely speak english and obviously didn't understand half of what was going on. He then proceeded to spend 10 minutes on Google looking up things from my condition (Comforting...) to ear infections (?!). I already knew I wasn't letting this guy near my tongue, but anyway, the actual Dr. Maldon appeared, this guy was just some...guy who worked there. The actual doctor himself wasn't much more reassuring. Basically going private. :p
  8. Because I hate your cinema, and I'd prefer you just come and see the film too. LEt's be honest, if it's your company vs. a good film, I know which I prefer. I'm checking out various VUE's now.
  9. I've noticed that it seems to be a chunk of the time/space continuum missing, too. Home from school early, as I'm just off to the Oral Surgeon to have a consultation about my tongue-tie. Thern chinese (yay!) then going to see a late night film and then back to mine to play jokes with my friends. Unfortunately, Chair finishes shitty work at 9, and there seems to be no decent films on after 9.15!
  10. Yeah this was interesting, thanks! I do feel an attraction to Sonic again, I actually own only Sonic 3/Sonic & Knuckles for PC...as I lost/sold (cant remember) Sonic Adventure 2. That's why I want Black Knight, it looks decent so far. I loved Sonic The Comic, which stopped a while ago, but was awesome, and made me love him.
  11. As good it is of you to try and make a good impression in General Chi-Chat, I think you should've put this question into either the Music Thread or the Movie News thread. It doesn't really justify it's own thread.
  12. Just got back into playing Final Fantasy III for DS, and I can't beat Medusa (in Tower Of Owen) before she rapes me. Guides/walkthroughs idicate there isn't much to it, and I seem to be above averagely levelled (ranging from 16-8 or something)... I hate. Turning into, and then back out of, toads takes up valuable MP...
  13. Blaze is in it now...
  14. Just heard the first song I genuinely liked enough to buy on the collaborative playlist; The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash. I always meant to get into him proper...I might get American IV soon. Whoever added that gets a thumbs up.
  15. I've added a mixture; Don't Look Back In Anger - Tori Amos It's In Our Hands (Soft Pink Truth Single Mix) - Bjork I Zimbra - Talking Heads Wild Horses - Girls Aloud Bedtime Story - Madonna Tunic (Song For Karen) - Sonic Youth I wanted to add Head Like A Hole by Nine Inch Nails, but they only had crazy remixes.
  16. Not even 20 years old, already being remade...
  17. It's a brilliant album... Not as "WOW" as IAABN, but then it's more to do with nature, than human identity. And I love the vocals of Dust & Water.
  18. I only jumped on the "Oh dear, oh dear" comment. I think he's decent (not seen enough, but Superbad was fine) as far as I know. But the "oh dear" is the kinda comment that would make sense if someone said they didn't like Meryl Streep or whatever...like a really establishedly-good thing. As if it's impossible to not think they're good. And in my defence, it was one of my less scathing jumps. :p The Hours Watched this due to it being "about" Virginia Woolf, as well as her area of study, and the effect her novel/ideas have on those in the future. I'm readin To The Lighthouse in English atm. Nicole Kidman is impreccable and unrecognisable as Woolf, and Julianne Moore and Meryl Streep portray the women of the future with pathos and realism. Tightly constructed and clever story and directing, making us think and question ourselves as an individual, and perhaps our own perceptions of "crazy" people, and those who take their own life. Powerful and recommended heartily. The letter (I already read) Woolf writes to her husband is heartwrenchingly uplifting, read by Kidman. 10/10?
  19. I'm officially on Spotify now. Dunno what to even listen to. And it's not scrobbling, Haggis, you lying dog.
  20. It's not like he's a genius, ReZ, he is a bit overrated.
  21. I love The Virgin Suicides, and Moon Safari is good too, but I've heard that the other two aren't as good as these two...what are your opinions? (anyone?)
  22. Battlestar Galactica Season 1 I'm still rocking back and forth, whimpering "Mother...." to myself, hands half-clasped, half-really loose, over my mouth. But then I remember I need to clap at so many things about it. So good. I need money for the next season in my hand now. I can't believe I have to wait until March 1st to get it. Curses! 10/10
  23. No, that's worse. I made a point about getting rid of the big ugly font name in it, and adding a smaller version (in a good, fitting font) in the bottom left (as Dyson said)... As long as your name on that sig exists in that form, it'll never work.
