  1. They're hardly jarringly dissimilar from each other. I love shuffle on iTunes. Hearing how songs work, or don't in a sequence. It could be a Katy Perry song, then a Disturbed song. A Joan As Police Woman song, then a Blondie song. I heart variety/juxtaposition. Yoko Ono's new Ep is out. I'm tempted. I love the fact I know Yoko Ono better than The Beatles.
  2. Similarly, I don't think it's strictly obvious he's evil, it might be different in this mafia. However, it's likely he is a big baddie. Still gonna wait a bit for him to come on. Sorry, you misunderstand, Vicar is Bowser. No doubt about it. (unless tricks are afoot)
  3. You're all shite. Someone needs to add the second bit to what I said. I have no idea what you're on about EEVIL.
  4. Vicar is Bowser. Trust me, I have great intuition.
  5. I already love Uncanny. I know Matt Fraction is the guy ReZ said was great, but it feels really...good. Only got the issue with Psylocke on the front cause they didn't the issue immediatly after it. Love it though. --- This is the initial line-up in the joke X-Men series I'm planning with chair. These are the costumes, but imagine a more uniform colour scheme of red and gold (instead of blue). *** * = Blacklite, an original character. **= Climate, an original character. About 5-6 are "gone" by Issue 8 however. By various means. I love them all. And the secrets I daren't reveal until I start writing it. EDIT: Blacklite is not Beast, it's the girl in the dress with arms outstretched.
  6. Bastards didn't have ALPHA, so I'm partially crying. At least there's a "previously". I own X-Men 1 so I know a bit of the story anyway. (Batman & Robin 1) Why did no one tell me my favourite comic duo were doing a Batman comic?! Love Quitely. Love Morrison. £8.20 all together. No idea how expensive that is.
  7. Going into town in a bit to go and try and get X-Men Forever Alpha, and hopefully X-Menm Forever 1-2/whichever are out.
  8. A Beautiful Mind It was good, reminding my why Maths is so amazing, and that I wish my brain could actually work with it. Jennifer Connelly is my new favourite person, after this and Requiem for a Dream. I like how she looks both old and young at the same time. It wasn't amazing in my eyes, a bit sentimental (without being that effective) i nthe second half, kinda winded down from a possibly exciting bit. 8/10
  9. Admittedly the original is better, and less annoying, but it still...grates on me for some reason. Listened to some Datarock earlier, sounded very cool. Placebo's new album is enjoyable (expected it to be awful), and gave Sinead O Connors first album a listen. <3
  10. I too find "zanu labour" an innapropriate term.
  11. All this has happened before.
  12. Paj!

    Have you finished BSG yet?

I'm still reeling after finishing it. My favourite thing ever. Even more than those ham crisps from M&S.

  13. My favourite movie.
  14. That song always irratated me. The tone of how he sings it, and the "ah ah" in the back sounds like a bad Hot Chip B-side.
  15. Yeah those are two wonderful costumes. -- Done nothing all day. Woke up at 12, went to buy more stuff for my sister's birthday tomorrow. Came home, played X-Men Legends 2. Then went to pick up sister with my mum, met Chair in school grounds, for an impromptu to yet rewarding chat. Came home. Played X-Men Legends 2. Watched one of the past few Brothers and Sisters episodes I've missed. Still got one, and then tonights (not gonna watch it tonight) to watch on 4OD. Listening to Placebo's new album atm. Better than I initially thought it would be. Hmm. Said I'd watch Wild Chld with my sister.
  16. I don't like the effect on the first one, goaf, I think it might look nicer without it. But the other two are very nice. Think the second would be better without the text, but I assume that's part of the competition?
  17. Yeah, but you wouldn't ACTUALLY have said that, though. Lies, all around me are lies.
  18. Well I think I only ever read Thunderbolts when they featured in other people's comics. I read Avengers/Thunderbolts, which was a bit shit. Venom and Gpblin just feel so unerringly classy.
  19. I've only seen Kill Bill Pt1, unless Planet Terror is by him? Or is that Robert Rodriguez? I loved Planet Terror. Kill Bill was alright.
  20. I remember in P6, our playground was dry (possibly moist from earlier on), and the immediately adjacent "field" bit was pouring it down.
  21. I'd like to see what they'd do with a Thunderbolts movie. Just bringing back Green Goblin and Venom for a laugh.
  22. Listened briefly to Explosions In The Sky (since people are raving about them), off their 2001 album. Seemed pretty cool/nice/relaxing/chillaxed/fun/wonderful. But then I felt the overwhelming urge to listen to this instead;
  23. You've been saying that in very strange contexts recently! No one's arguing with you... That said, I say "to be fair" a lot (I think). ---- I liked Futurama, more than Simpsons the older I got. I'm not a massive fan of either anymore though. There'se funnier shows out there, but I'll definitely leave them on if I skip to them on TV.
  24. 1. "Plays and Playing are important/central (some word) to "Hamlet" " - For far and in what ways do you agree? 2. "The play is about a constant duel between Hamlet and Claudius" ditto Or something to that effect. I did the first one, but I hadn't revised any Rosencrantz or Guildenstern or anything, so basically changed my planned Ophelia essay to fit the question. Oh noes/fail.
