  1. You do still watch current films though?
  2. I'm playing. I love my mafia comeback. Could rival Tina Turner's musical one if I'm not careful.
  3. I must've been the last person not to have seen Slumdog Millionaire. I'm not even interested anymore.
  4. I met him. * * at a book signing. I was fame hungry.
  5. Jesus. English A Level on Wednesday and once again, due to my own crippling procrastination/lack of willpower, today was my first proper revise of Hamlet. Just wrote out quotes all day. And I actually have done essays on Hamlet, like it a lot. Hopkins in the same exams, I've done no essays on it, and we never finished it. And tomorrow will be when I start and finish my revision of it. Joy! I'll have to take like..night classes and resit this exam next year I guess.
  6. X-Men Legends II I finished the second one, Psylocke killing Master Mold with a final Psychic Hammer. Now onto part II. Come on, Scarlet Witch!!!! MOAR POWER
  7. I think if the game had more info-gathers in a larger roster, chat would have come more. But I enjoyed it.
  8. I mean in the way it makes you dance. In a frantic fashion.
  9. Your hair is so lovely though. Maybe it's just me not really liking short hair on girls that much. But yeah, I should have said I like the colours.
  10. You should grow your hair I've decided. Long and curly or just a bit longer than it is now, and straight. Keeping the joke colours.
  11. BSG Final Season up to Blood On The Scales Kiss my name. I died. I love reminding us that everyone hated Zarek back in the day for a reason. The CORUM! Died/10
  12. No you are, you're right. Also, I ammend what I say (grudgingly), I've come around to Untouched. I felt the awesome string bits were wasted on a shit song, but I appreciate it's raveyness. Everything else I heard from them is still balls though.
  13. Why would be laughing? Tori Amos very literally freaks out all the time (dunno specifically about crying, but I assume so) and she was around 30-35 during her "crazy" period. But anyway. So far it seems bland as an album. Kinda what I expected to be fair. Better than Veronicas. It sounds a bit like she listened to a No Doubt album, then a Jonas Brothers album, then decided to squish the two into an unholy union. Every song sounds the same except Don't Forget, which does at the end.
  14. No, but I will now to see. I was just making the point that I thought the album that I saw was new. And you said her new one is coming out.
  15. Margaret is a legend. Slightly moreso than Nick, tbf
  16. This makes Tori Amos look like she belongs with the Disney whores. Which unbelievably wrong. ---- I started to "get" Hands, but then it blew up in my face. Might try later on. I'm not too enamoured with her in any case. ---- Wait, Haggis I saw a Demi Lovato album in Fopp on Friday... With all the cliched marker pen scrawlings that is meant to represent teenage angst. ---- I'm kinda looking foward to La Roux's album. Only heard In For The Kill, but I love the Skream remix. It's just amazing. --- Songs I'm Currently Enamoured With In For The Kill (Skream's Lets Get Racey Remix) - La Roux When I Grow Up - Fever Ray Swans & The Swimming - Iron & Wine Leather - Death In Vegas Girls - Death In Vegas Psychic City - YACHT Ghost Of Love - Inland Empire The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game - grace Jones
  17. Hugely shocked, the entire boardroom was just him pointing out how Yasmina didn't need the job, then hirimg her! Good final though Phil is the stupidest fuck in the world. As is Ben.
  18. I find Two Suns dissapointingly dated and muted in production. Live the songs are great, but they lost they're initial shine quickly on the studio versions.
  19. Hamlet (A Royal College of Art Film, 1976) With Helen Mirren, Quentin Crisp. Very Derek jarman, but not by him. Very surreal and misses out loads of vital bits in place of homoerotic wrestling. It did add to my understanding of Gertrude though.
  20. I can't really be arsed with the idea of films like Final Destination and the Saw series. Death scares me enough, they just rub me the wrong way, the inescapability. If there were zomg amazing films I could maybe appreciate them.
  21. My Hamlet revision = watching Celestino Conorado's 1976 film of it, starring Helen Mirren and Quentin Crisp. Surreal and most of these arty shakespeare interps are, but also overtly homoerotic. For whatever reason.
  22. I hate days when I have my revision time taken away. Had to spend 5 hours visiting my aunt/uncle for lunch, nice but a waste of time. Watched a marathon of Zoey 101 (that show with Jamie Lynn Spears. It both annoyed and titilated me). Then back for like...20 mins, so I didn't bother revising, just finished X-Men Legends (I'm questioning why Jubilee and Storm could have won my the final battle so easily just by themselves. E'en so, I let Jean and Colossus have their day). Then went to my dads for dinner, actually really nice. Back home, the girl who lives with me kindly gave me her To The Lighthouse notes, and I'm'a do a bit of Hamlet revision in a minute.
  23. I love Mirwais's production on American Life by Madonna. I know nothing of him by himself, only that he produced such awesome beats. It's the album her main fanbase don't really like, but it's probably her least...mainstream-sounding. (apart from Ray Of Light, but that was hugely successful, so negated the fact). With heavy bass, I jizz all over this song. (not very good quality) EDIT: I think the video version cuts out a long bit of just instrumental.
