I can't stand FPS games. I'm just shit at them. Can't control them for shit. Never know what the hell's going on etc. Just get killed instantly trying to back out a room.

I wouldn't mind if they left it. The curse of the threequel isn't necesarily going to spare Batman, and it's not like there's any loose ends. Batman has always been mistrusted by the police/fired at with guns after just defeating a villain etc, so it's not a big change for the character (the end of TDK). Better leave it and try something new (like TDKR) than continue it directly, badly.

Ugh. Just...so...epic and brilliant in my ears. This theme recurs throught the film, but that in particular bit sums it up so well. It's just amazing. Love the music in this film. It's followed by Supermarket Sweep on the soundtrack, which is beaty electro shiz.

I not seen any of the Evil Dead films. One day, it will happen. One day, when you're all alone.

Soundtrack £7.90 I'm still stunned by this film (and the music). Still missing the little bit of me that fell on the floor when it finished.

And in a moment of almost-unbearable vision doubled over with the hunger of lions "hold me close," cooed the dove who was stuffed now with sawdust and diamonds.

8.7? Technically a really good film. I knew you'd cry, you're a weeping machine. --- The Lost World My favourite film of 1997! Not seen in full in about 12 years, but I LOVED it when I saw it in the cinema (6 years old, a lot of it went over my head). The classic image of Julianne Moore lying on the cracking pane of glass over a zillion foot drop on the side of a cliff, not daring ot move, lest it shatter. I like that it's not just the first rehashed (like the third was). 7/10

Best ever. I need that gif on my tombstone, just forever projected onto it. It's the expression I use most when people talk to me. Thing is, I'm like...a funny man. Or whatever. My humour is pretty dry, because I have no confidence in speaking/can't speak fast without going crazy. I'm not very confident in front of others "improv"-ing...so I might just write something like "You *sniff* guys...COMPLETE ME>!!". Shaking, crying etc. But I have nothing to make anyone cry about. Girl hasn't replied, I asked for a clearer specification.

I was mysteriously phoned by a girl from school the other night, but she never called back after I texted her ( I missed the call ). On facebook she said that she'd tell me in school, and then today, she asked me to do a speech at the Leaver's Ball. I'm honoured...she and the other organiser girl there said I was witty/funny...but I have two-three days to do this. I've never written a speech, or ever written ANYTHING that I intended to be funny. I also still have bits left over from my old speech impediment/stammer, making me an awful public speaker. I also never did the public speaking class loads of other people did. Not sure what's gonna happen.

Well Morrison and co.'s 2000 revamp of the X-titles and how they approached costuming is described as "leather outfits that in some cases almost looks like street clothes. There was a large range of shirts and jackets from which to pick". Some kept costumes, like Archangel and Northstar, but leathery and modern, some, Cyclops, Jean etc basically wore a uniform that was just normal clothes.

That's really good going Caris. I wish I had any semblance of willpower to lose weight. I'm not massively overweight or anything, but still. Hate hate hate it.

No, I was being honest. Normal people look shit in spandex. Unless you're ridiculously attractive and/or physically fit, you can't pull it off. I was being truthful.

Terminator: Salvation Forgot to review this. Saw it early in the morning, like 10am or something, for the lulz, so it has a kinda haze over it when I think about what happened. Basically added nothing but took away nothing from my life. Too many explosions with no point behind them. Christian Bale's voice was tolerable in Batman when it had an explanation, and it was normal when he was Bruce, here it was just silly. Bryce Dallas Howard was 15 years too young looking to be Katherine Brewster. Claire Danes looked older than her in T3, set 15 years earlier. Seriously WEIRD casting on her part. I like her, but...yeah. Arnie bit was entertaining/the best bit. I hated the pointless inclusion of the mute girl (boy?) to make Kyle Reese seems like some sort of Oliver/Annie/Urchin/Saviour of the poor character. Found Sam Worthington to be more compelling than Bale. Loved his team-up with Psylocke (as I called her). Wait, Helena Bonham Carter was the best thing about it. I love her being the bitch behind it all/how I interpret it. Shrug. I enjoyed it, but hardly good. But not bad either. Kinda reminded me why I hated Transformers, but not as patronising. /10

Yeah, if you're a supermodel, you'll look decent as a superhero. I noticed that Nightcrawler's costume actually looks the most like the comics.

What I was about to say. My family has a long history with South Africa, my...uncle's (by siring of a child) family live there (on the cusp of Mozambique, in the bush), and my mum's side moved there when she was young back when it was at the height of succes as a country. Also my godfather was arrested for trying to kidnap back his very young sister-in-law who was taken away by her estranged father. Unfortunately it's not safe or stable at all, anymore. There are lovely traditions amongst the lowlifes like "Kill a white weekend", according to my what my family tell me. But it's sad, since it seems like a beautiful place, rurally, at least.

Had English today, on two frankly stunning books, To The Lighthosue and Cold Comfort Farm. Chose to do one question on each to avoid repeating myself, plus it was open book so yay.
