Ugh, probably shouldn't have said really boring, but they're still a sortof letdown. I like them enough. They're not bad. And I appreciated them more when I relistened to it recently, and I know what it's generally about/what it's trying to convey, but I still feel dissapointed. Not sure why. Again, I'm not as vehement about it as Chair...I just have bad wording/a problem about telling lies.

Spotify is a great idea, but it requires effort from people who only ever posted in the matches Everlong* was in, and the like. I dunno if people will DL Spotify to take part. *just an example. But it happened.

I love all my new friends at college. Too many jokes going on at once to do any work. During lunch hour, I was chatting with people in the smoking bit, and this homeless (I assume, but might not be) woman who is one of those people who ramble at strangers and have a cast on their arm appeared. I call this woman Catwoman, as she talks to the cats around my area. So yeah, a girl I was with started chatting with Catwoman too well, we learnt so much. (Although it was all lies, since she said her son went to "that church!", pointing at the church that houses my art college, and has done for 20 years or something)

To be honest, I'm making stuff up. I think it's the fact that the music is so lovely (no denying that), but the lyrics are really boring and neither here nor there to me. I actually don't mind the vocals (like chair seems to). They neither add nor take away from the song, but the lyrics are kinda disappointing, but only because they aren't balanced with the music quality. imo.

Love this thread. I will personally slice Odwin if he does edit posts though. I don't think he will. *is ready to fight if he does* Voting Tori obvi. BUT I've come to like Everlong. I never DISLIKED it, but it annnoyed me. The lack of much of anything going on is less annoying. So yeah. It's good. (mostly) --- Whatever form the next Music Warz takes, no artists who have appered previously may be nominated in the same form. By that, I mean, Gwen Stefani could be nominated even if No Doubt had been last time blah blah. It would be obvious/ and i'd tell people during nominations. Interesting though, TONNES of big names out of the running for Music Warz 2...

They have the Crime Syndicate TA. Revolver feat. Little Wayne leaked today/last night btw. Madonna really needs to do something interesting again. Also, I don't get how anyone can like the album version of Celebration over the video/single mix? It sounds like the music in the original is from a different song to the vocals, and sounds disgusting and dated. I hate it in most forms anyway.

I kinda hate how Masterchef makes out that YOU WILL DIE IF THIS DOESN'T WORK. And I hate when people are far too big for their boots, like Michelle La Roux or whatever his name is. I love that woman though, just replacing John Torrode for the sake of being great. I like it, but it pisses me off a bit too. -

She's got a bit of everything for anyone to enjoy, and she's generally amazing. Though her last two albums (Far and Begin to Hope) are bit too radio-friendly for my taste, it's her earlier albums that do it for me, very improved, very quirky but really profound as well. She's not been as musically interesting in a while (but still enjoyable) But anyone who wants to give her good listen, I recommend searching out 11:11 or Mary Ann Meets The Gravediggers and Other Stories, which is a compilation from her first 3 (best) albums.

Here it is. The end of Music Warz. It's been great. I'm personally still stunned at Tori Amos being in the final. When this started, I never would have anticipated that. Up against a song with a huge following on here :awesome:. Most of all I hope people have enjoyed/valued being exposed to music they might not have listened to or heard of previously. I think it was a very good video for what it was, very unpretentious, and just worked really well. And it was a sensation blah blah. But not great. Better than Taylor Swift's.

Interview (2007) Engaging, and I enjoyed it. I love Sienna Miller. And Steve Buschemii (sp?) was good too. It's just the two of them in it. It's sorta like a play. In a way, I think it could have done some more jarring direction and cutting between shots to suggest an ambiguous time frame/difference; the difference is attitudes toward each other veer backwards ans fowards too much to truly be believable. Good though. A nice cynical take on celebrity/judgement/life blah 7.5/10

College was fun. Did an A4 oil pointing, got complements, and I was happy. We next have to do a bigger version of it ovr 3 days. Oy. My weekened homework was pathetic compared to everyon elses. I'll finish/add more tomorrow night. 2 of my friends said they'd come round and pick me up for a stunning evening in, and I was waiting inside, shoes on, sitting in silence in anticipation. Then my sister comes in and tells me she saw "Mavor and Rachel driving away". I was like "...". Turns out they'd been round, rung the doorbell twice, and no one managed to hear it in my house. !!! Anyway, Rachel came back to get me, and we made such wonderful headway. We parked, and walked to Mavor's door, and knocked on it gingerly. Then Chair appeared behind us and told us we were one door too far to the right, so we ran screaming to the right door. Pasta and lovliness was to follow. We watched the unedited footage from the Interrail trip, chair's improved song on a night train was great. We went to morrisons for the lol, to get Party Rings and Custard Creams. (we're so raj)
