Sounds like you're having fun already CB. I'm sortof jealous of people starting afresh in new places at uni. But then I love Edinburgh, and I'm making loads of new friends, like everyone else is, just in the same place. :P Plus it's only for a year. Then I'm off to Bora Bora.

I've never lost any memories from drinking. That said, I've only ever been completely watsed once. Almost 2 years ago. And even then, when it gets hazy, it's just all sped-up in my head, yet I still remember really poignantly seeing a girl who left the school a year before. So I might have a supersharp memory. Or perhaps it just affects people differently.

I listened to the album today, and I still love Digifucker the most. Especially when combined with the video. Made by art students, but then endorsed by the band themselves. Brilliant!

Sexy art college tomorrow. Can't be arsed. I can't bear to show the class my weekend project. It's a bank holiday for everywhere else as well. Today was fine. Just finished off said project, chatted to people about my birthday plans, and generally did SHIT ALL.

I'm so scared. Yeah. Listening to the album now, Seven Veils is such a stunner, but as a bridge. Sunshine is the same though, over half is here chanting. Which is good, but not out of context. Mesmerizing maybe. That's a stunner. Could just do Shatter and be honest with ourselves.

All 3 were in my top 15 list I made whenr trying to decide what songs to include. I'm in so aflurry about Liz Phair, since I love DOF7V, but it might seem too much like an interlude to stand a chance against more fully-formed songs. I considered Never Said (the obvious) and Stratford-Upon-Guy. Thoughts, chair (or anyone else familar)? (I could always just use my favourite from the self-titles album...)

I hate miming, unless it's necesarry for whatever reason (in a big-scale production with dancing or whatever), and even then, only for minor bits (not whole songs). So I'm glad Muse did that. But people do/did it all the time. Usually when people mime now, it's out of choice.

It'd actually be awesome if you could make a spreadsheet, I don't think I have Excel on the mac, and even If I did, I can't remember how on earth to use it. But that's not needed at all now, so just whenever would be lovely.

No I get it. That would be easiest. Last time there were effecitvely 6 rounds, with the 6th being the final. How many matches are in each round is dependant on number of participants. Deadline will not be for a while yet. Need a good number more people to take part as well. I'll wait for you, it's alright.

MUSIC WARZ 2 THE RETURN MUSIC WARZ recently finished, and now another one is starting! For those who didn’t take part last time, people choose a few songs, which go into an overall pool, and are “pitted against each other” 1 on 1 for your votes. Songs progress through various rounds until an eventual winner is crowned. The aim is not to say what song is “best”, as many tastes vary, and perhaps the main point is to expose us all to lots of new music people may not have heard of. This goes doubly this time round, as no artists that were entered in the last Music Warz may be selected this time around!

I prefer Ice Dancing on Ice or whatever, just cause it's a more interesting thing to learn how to do. (and the fact that none of the contestants have any experience whatsoever)

Well it's your own fault for not encouraging more people to come and play. Considering it's really obvious who would have won if we did a proper cross-section of the forum. Both are good though, and It's not like Tori would have lost to a shit song/band.
