Laura just released a single/album IIRC. EDIT: Yep. EDIT2: Also "Rita" (Ruth Lorenzo) was brilliant, and confirmed she's signed to Virgin EMI a few months ago.

Yeah, it's still in cinemas...

So much work to do, but I feel so shit today, so staying at home. Got some sort of hacking cough, a migraine and a sore throat. Going to bed...will try and do more of my piece this afternoon...to be completed by tomorrow. Ha. Likely..

Yeah I hate Land. I thought he might be getting more tolerable or something, but it STILL hinders the story. The bit the issue before where Scalphunter is being "hired", there's a random woman posing in front of the evil mastermind guy, and you're not sure what she's meant to be doing/why she's there, and if it has any meaning. Also one panel last issue where the cuckoos were just the same picture 3 times...I know they're triplets, but wen they run, they won't run in sync, their HAIR BLOWING THE SAME WAY IN THE WIND.

She's a hugely famous and phenomonally influential artist that shot to fame in 1978 with the song "Wuthering Heights". Click her name on the first post for a link to the Wiki. That' s what it's for. She kinda opened the floodgates for "weird women" in popular music, imo.

^ The only Radiohead album I don't have apart from Pablo Honey (which I don't want). So yeah, very forgotten about.

I got a Winnie The Pooh one (lovely). I hate how it's the "cheap" Kinnerton range though...no pictures behind the window = pointless. I'd rather a picture than a chocolate.

The word "hamper" brings an intense and vivid image/taste/smell to mind, but it's an image/taste/smell I've never encountered, nor can really tell is there. It's like a word from a place time forgot. I can't place what it does to me. It fucks me over. I'd put seventeen flakes and a tub of Mackie's ice-cream in.

I preferred reading it to watching Comedy Rainbow, but Comedy Rainbow would be a (slightly) more rewarding an experience in the long run.

I loved Abigail. Coming in and tossing shuriken around the room, seemingly randomly, yet managing to knock out every lighbulb in the room. And ReZ, I hate how pointless and shit that arguement was. The fact it was over nothing, and you seemed so pleased with yourself. Everyone involved displayed the intelligence of a 5 year old.

^ Sarcasm, or doesn't realise? It's Hounds of Love. I do love Running Up That Hill too, and the Placebo version of that too, though. :p

I hate knowing War Machine is in it. Since it was hinted but left alone in the first one, just in case they decided not to include him. Then again, I'm blown. I loved the first one. --- Caught up with Uncanny. Last issue was awesome! Brilliant battle issue. Screaming at Rogue being too good with absorbed powers, and the

Playing around with Redbubble for the first time...kinda want to make T-shirts for myself. I want to use images that are probably not mine to sell on, so not making it public is cool. First little play around. Want a Prince t-shirt but he's not touring atm so... I might get rid of the text.

I actually quite like ReZ's little thumbnails in the plan for the boxes on each page of Cast (not that most here have seen them). They're nice. But anyway.

Really intended to do some work on my final piece tonight, need to, got loads to do in a short time period, but my heating was broken, so was freezing and fucking tired, so didn't. I have some sort of syndrome where I always aim too high. If my peice was actually gonna end up as lovely as in my head, it'd be fine, but it 100% won't. I mean the painting part of it is horrible already.

Paj! replied to Slaggis's topic in General Chit Chat
School of Saatchi I love this, I like seeing the ideas and processes of the artists, and also how they're judged etc. Like The Apprentice but with art instead of business. :p I thought Suki and the guy's was the best, and Eugenie and the other guy's zoo the worst. Neither were perfect or completely rubbish, but I think one had a powerful aesthetic that I could imagine finding very absorbing and thought-provoking, while one was just a bit thin on the ground concept-wise, imo (the zoo).- 3920 replies

Uncanny X-men (think just one issue I missed, dunno...I think last thing I read was magneto appearing), Invincible (last 4-5 maybe?) and Batman & Robin ( 4 and 5, less essential).

I know you all laugh at me, but I dunno how to work Myxsssxs without just trawling through page after page hoping to find what you want? The search doesn't seem to find anything I want. Is there a site that tells me the dates comics were released at least? That would help.
