  1. ^ Have you heard Fur & Gold, Bat For Lashes' first album? It's 10x better. The production on Two Suns is about as vibrant as a carrier bag, thus spoiling the experience for me.
  2. Just post it now Rummy/finish it yourself!
  3. So fair a point, ReZ. It was him or Diane Kruger and realistically he'll sell a film to more people.
  4. But then again, I'd prefer an artist/band try different styles and prove they can handle them. Shows they're actually pretty fucking great. (and they can "handle" the style of It's Blitz! greatly, I just don't enjoy it that much)
  5. I get to about 3 songs in on It's Blitz and I lose interest in it. I find the homogenity (is that a word?) of the sound hard to keep focus on. It's decent at the very least, but I never can be arsed to try and make sure that's true.
  6. Halloween (1978) (mild spoilers, but not really) I appreciate it's status as a classic and trendsetter for horror for decades to come, but it seemed far from perfect. It was visually pretty awesome, I liked how the camera seemed shaky (not in a Transformers way), and it's low-budget didn't seem to hamper it. I think the most tense bits were actually the daytime sections, which was a nice change. I really hated some of action set-piecing or whatever. How there was a lot of pointless bits that were really unrealistic (though I could argue that I liked how Myers is quite a shite killer, really slow and bad at aiming). in how events unfolded. I liked the characters though, they had more substance than the typical teen slasher thing. I hated how the screams either sounded fake/out of place, or as if they weren't actually scared. Half the time they didn't even scream, just gasped in a way that suggested mild suprise. But I'm dealing. I love/hate the ending. 7/10
  7. I wasn't blown away by the Elbow track, but I appreciated it more than In This Moment, which smacked of "seen it all before", song by numbers. Elbow
  8. There's a hidden image behind the disc tray in the jewel case for Kid A by Radiohead. Just discovered (probably common knowledge). I love easter eggs like that.
  9. I don't like the bit of film going across the first one. I think it'd look more interesting just as the page. It reminds me of;
  10. Because of out new little dog, we've blocked off the hallway to my room with boxes, cause I'm too Dirrty to clean my room up. It's a hazard for man or beast, especially small fragile ones. My ear thing has fucked up my centre of balance, I was weaving all over the shop during my driving lesson, and on foot, I was real embaressed cause I semi-stumbled into the middle of the road, looking like some sort of drunk person, this afternoon. Combined = me trying to delicately glide over the boxes, but ended up whacking my leg spectuacularly on the door-frame bit. My toe (the main long bit) and the nail bit of my big toe are in such pain, and this was a good hour ago. I have a fear of my nails coming off though, so I've yet to take my sock off to see the damage (if any).
  11. Wel it kinda makes no difference. Sometimes people randomly vote ages after matches are over, but it doesn't affect anything. Basically when the winner in bolded in the following match, said match is over. :P
  12. =Music Wars 2= Match 15 Switching Off - Elbow Not on We7 spotify:track:7oKIX14dlSXDCevYDqI4pd Beautiful Tragedy-In This Moment Not on We7. 13. Florence wins this. Closed.
  14. Get out of my house, Happenstance!
  15. It's fine as a standalone thing, but even as a big comics fan, and liking the Iron Man film, I wouldn't realise it was from that.
  16. Got up mid-day, needed a lie-in. But my blocked ear is still intact! Fucking horrid, it went away yesterday for a bit too, after sleeping... Atrocious when I take off my big headphones after listening to my iPod, it's worse than normal, and there's feedback in my head and I hear my voice magnified a million times. I can't pinpoint where noises are coming from atm. Which didn't help my driving lesson today, I was off my game, and my instructor said it was probably because I was ill. I kept using the window wipers instead of indicating right. Got a dog! My family's first dog. Teddy, a little terrier thing. It seems nice. Letting my sister and dad play with it, since realistically she wants it to bond with her more and fair's fair, it's "hers". / I don't mind.
  17. £7.99 As my secret santa present. I love it. She'll love it. (or else) £3 Never seen and thought I should.
  18. It was probably laced with anthrax. I loved yesterday, me, my friend (who I've known for my lifetime) and a fucking hilarious girl went to get lunch during college, but we were forced to take a box of invites to the exhibition and post them. We trekked to this elusive post box, and I commented on how random it looks for 3 teenagers to be offloading letters from a massive box, looking really suspicious. Then the girls screamed "Anthrax for you, Theresa!" into the post box. I was in hysterics.
  19. My most-watched "proper" (i.e not a purely voice actor) actor is Cameron Diaz. Feels funny. Discounting other pure voice actors, next up are John Cleese (random! But he's in everything), Warwick Davis (the famius dwarf who basically plays all the dwarves in every movie ever) and Kirsten Dunst. (taken from Listal.com, where I've painstakingly listed every film I've ever seen.)
  20. Yeah, I actually prefer it to Abnormally Attracted To Sin (as a whole), just cause I hate how the emotion on that album sounds fake cause of the production. Like Strong Black Vine. It's brilliant live (I'm still reeling), but I hate on CD. At least this sounds genuine. And yeah, I wish her new voice wasn't deteriorating/annoying.
  21. America's Sweethearts I enjoyed it more than I expected, and there were some amusing moments. And Catherine Zeta-Jones' face is brilliant (in every aspect). Meh overall, but the cast is great etc. 5/10
  22. My worst fear is doors closing on me as I'm loading bags on off/losing bags. Just pack nothing precious, all things sacred.
