    Peebles, lol? I love. Where part III of the Chair/Paj team lives, and generally a stunning/boring place with nice houses in certain bits.

     

    Well realistically I want to go to Kingston, it blew me so near to the edge, but my mum is like "LETS LOOK AT YOUR OPTIONS" basically saying "I'd way prefer you went to a free uni in Scotland", but Kingston is straight into film with way better oppurtunities, rather than doing ANOTHER foundation year. 2 foundation years dont get you anything more than 1 in terms of applications and stuff. Plus I was already accepted for Kingston, and agggh, Just let me go.

    Edinburgh? I assume you mean Aberdeen. It was fine, I arrived and met like 3 people I know and love from my course, and then the actual interview was just them flicking through my folio asking really easy questions that seemed quite inconsequential like what I thought of my current tutors and stuff.

    I've never heard a note by LCD Soundsystem, what's their best? (I noticed the new one isn't on Spotify) --- I impulse bought What About Us? by Brandy because the beat is ear-rific. One of those painfully crunky backing tracks. Quite atonal (is that a word), but sounds great. All I know about her is that she did a song about a homeless woman that I saw the video for a million times back in 2000 or so.

    How's the eruption affected the Icelandic people btw? I was quite interested in that but most people here (UK) are just annoyed their holidays have been cancelled.

    Batman: The Brave and the Bold "Mayhem of the Music Meister" I loved, so much. Very much in the vein of Once More With Feeling in Buffy, the villain in this causes everyone to sing their feelings. Neil Patrick Harris stunned.

    - I decided my starting point for my next project will be "Superheroes/my love for the concept of them Re: childhood toys and onwards". Right now I'm sketching out ideas for an animation of a page of a comic coming to life. I'm happy with that...it's just a starting point, I've been thinking in terms of final pieces. - My instructor said it was my best driving lesson ever, as I was calm throughout and drove with total awareness or something. Yes. - My day. ^

    I watched half of the new Glee then stopped. Sue is still brilliantly funny, love her. But it literally just sets it all back up to be the same as last season/last half-season. I liked that they did Hello, I Love You by The Doors, as that's the first good "Hello" song that came to my head (when they mentioned "Hello" songs), but it was done badly. And the songs in general still sound horrible.

    Went to Aberdeen for my interVu. I was on the look-out for Letty, but not to be seen. Went well, was literally 5 minutes long and just a conversation about shite all while they looked at my stuff. They seemed positive. Came home. Had about 3 hours sleep in the last 48 hours though.

    Could be great. As long as they get a good team in it. Along with those guys, if they're doing Ultimates, they should have Giant Man and Wasp...and Hawkeye would be quite cool too. I would jizz if they included Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and acknowledged their relationship to Magneto in some way. I assume Black Widow will die/be evil/dissappear in Iron Man 2, so won't be in the Avengers.

    The Laura Marling gig tonight might be the best gig I've ever been to... Her drummer was ill so about 2/3 of the songs were acoustic, and they were 100% better. She's just...wow. The whole thing inspired this feeling: I was completely captivated. As in; eyes locked on.

    Hunchback of Notre Dame is amazing. The most grown-up and dark (genuinely) animated one Disney's done. I think it's better than all the Pixar ones, but then I'm biased toward the standard animation ones I think.

    I've only seen bits, but I love the "cold openings" to each episode. A completely different story to the actual episode.
