  1. - Watched a bit of Angel and some other stoof - Played Kingdom Hearts on DS (Yay, moved on from Agrabah!) - Posted my REALLY late cd's to a woman in canada as part of a mix Cd exchange thing. Left it stupidly/rudely late. Oh well. - Going to see Laura Marling tonight. She's so powerful. - Got my Aberdeen interview tomorrow. Eep/I've just not thought about it at all cause of my Kingston offer...which might be a bad thing, dunno what they'll ask/haven't thought of what to say etc.
  2. Oh. I love. What's Firestar's say in that? Wait..just looked it up...she joins the X-Men? Jokes. And is the daughter of the Blob.
  3. I think Toy Story is looked at through a lot of nostalgia-tinted glasses, but it is actually very good. For a while I was in the "I'm SEW bored of it!" camp, but then I remembered that it's strangely brilliant and moving.
  4. Yeah it was lovely in Berlin. So easy. I bought a ticket for every ride/day, which was a bit silly...I never once encountered an inspector. But I guess you're meant to etc.
  5. Angel Season 3 Episode 1 "Heartthrobs" Re: The epilogue "Life's full of suprises" I love. So obviously I've finished season 2.
  6. Justice League: The New Frontier It was decent...I would have liked it to be have been a series I think...the pacing was weird. Wonder Woman added, being a strange take on the character. I liked how they did Batman, acknowledging his changes in character. And how Superman wasn't even the main character. I would have preferrred just an animated take on JLA: Year One tbh.
  7. I'm so dubious. I've only heard good things, but I've only heard 3 opinions. I'm just scared of Vampire shyte.
  8. The way they mentioned "teaming up with other heroes" just makes it sound like it's gonna be a rip-off of Brave & The Bold.
  9. I love the stairs the most in that picture.
  10. I love this remix atm. Only heard the original once and was not impressed at all.
  11. I bought Come On Die Young and regret doing so. I just got/get nothing out of it, and can never bring myself to listen to it. I want to like them, as I trust people who say they're good, but I think I bought the wrong album to get into them with. I (usually) love arty-boring-thoughtful films.
  12. AGH. I need an idea/concept for my project that I actually like. I'm so scared. I might actually try a little test animation tomorrow to see if that's viable for me. Also seeing Laura Marling tomorrow night! Boom tube.
  13. It's directed by Douglas Gordon, who blows us all, as well. I kinda want to see it cause of that. (I know Mogwai are good, I just haven't been exposed properly yet) I have 0 interest in Zinidane Zidane or whatever his name is, or football though.
  14. BUT THEY'RE IN EGYPT THIS TIME!!! HOW WHY AHhhhh --- I actually saw the first one avec my mum...I'd never seen the series, apparently it's better. Not keen.
  15. Ugh! I'm more angry about there not being a second season of Wolverine & The X-Men. I really hate how fickle animation production is. (or whatever the right word would be). I accept that they kinda cancel then resurrect properties in new forms all the time to try and stay fresh and capture new audiences as others move on. Spider-Man and Batman are obviously examples, but things like Power Rangers apply to (though that's not changing the actual TV show). Kinda annoying. Wolvey + The X-Men was really story-driven too, I really enjoyed it once it got going. At least the best comic cartoons (The DCUA; Justice Leage/Unlimited, Batman/Beyond and Superman etc) "finished" properly, and as a universe, went on for about 15 years or something.
  16. I don't understand the question and won't respond.
  17. The Descent I thought it was good. Calustrophobic and just "Hmmm! Please no!" re: caves and small spaces. I don't know why you'd go down there in the first place but anyway. It felt like a well-exectued film, with some stunning cinematography.
  18. I've never heard of Checkers over here, only ever seen it in the US.
  19. £3.49 £0.65 (For the "Ke$ha Edit", with her doing most of it) I have a thing for Ke$ha. It feels so wrong, it feels so right, won't say I'm in love tonight.
  20. I love the bottom one. I really like when comic covers are in some way unconventional.
  21. Ok, I'll get a tutor. Or the head tutor maybe, he's fairly influential (concerning art in Edinburgh...). Thanks.
  22. I love Spectre and Catwoman the most. "What they fuck are we doing hereeeee...", as they're swept into the fray by everyone else. Don't rate me.
  23. That my family have decided to move to Orkney this year/relatively soon. I'm leaving for uni, so don't really mind, and it's more for my sisters sake, but it's a hassle for the holidays, as I'd come back to Edinburgh presumably, to see my friends. And just makes seeing people a hassle in general. But yeah.
