It's all the people that when they enter a room, people are violently sick with fear and anticipation. They'd rather they just died then and there rather than wait and endure the possibility. I might read/will read. I'm so DC'd at the moment though. Though I'm technically only following current Marvel comics (unless you count catching up with Blackest Night).

Watching Weekly: Nothing really, I suppose Brothers and Sisters, but I watch it at my leisure after it's aired. I guess that counts though. Catching up on: Angel, and I will start Big Love properly soonish. Waiting to start again: Nothing really. Want to catch up on: How I Met Your Mother. The Wire too. Want to start watching: *shrug* "Want" is the wrong word. I'm going to try out True Blood. Wishing had never been cancelled: Arrested Development Wishing was fucking cancelled already: Heroes. Unless it already has been?- 3920 replies

We spent all day at Sam Burns Yard, a famously great dump/place you can buy things you find. It was lovely, though my drawings were meh at best. I just couldn't get into the mindset to draw office chairs. But I loved how I just stopped working to rifle through all the vinyl records, being in stealth lest the turors find me, onyl to have them join me. I screamed when I found the 7" of P.Y.T by Michael Jackson, only to discover it was in a thousand pieces. I did buy these for 50p each though; Peach (Single in stunningly thick digipack) by Prince + Survivor by Destiny's Child

I was just saying I was really put off by the idea. The concept of having butter and crisps together also really frightens me.

Right, thanks. I knew loosely the history of the Hawks, but not enough to be sure.

I like crisps, and I like bread, but the idea of this baffles me. The breads too...big in comparison to the amount of crisps, it kinda serves no purpose, other than to be all big and carbohydrate-y with no other flavour. I'd rather just have a sandwich (with something substantial in it) or a packet of crisps.

Blondie's first album in 6 years in out in June, titled Panic of Girls. Should be interesting...I liked their last one, and Debbie Harry managed to make a pretty good solo album a few years back too.

So just finished reading all of Blackest Night (and the BN: Wonder Woman - which was so pointless, adding absolutely nothing- and the tie-in Justice League issues).

RE: Spoiler It's actually not a horrible wya to bring her back. It does kinda work...Leslie was really out of character letting Spoiler die rather than doing all she could to save her, and also people did wonder why Stephanie's Robin costume was never on display... (But she should really be older by now...she was pregnant with an ex-boyfriends baby in like...1999. So Let's just say she was 15/16 then. I know comic time doesn't go like that, but realistically. ) The comic death retcons I hate are the pointless ones...there was actualy no need to bring back Hal Jordan, or Barry Allen (UGH!). Hal adds something I suppose, but he was more fun as Spectre. Barry just takes everything away, there's already several more interesting Flashes anyway.

That Meatloaf song is worse than this, which I thought currently held the title for most awkwardly bad song of 2010;

That's so accurate for him. Though you forgot HC_RIVER_RAID. I love reassessing the "stunning"s of days of the future past. "More fun" was great.

How did anyone not get the Hitchcock reference...? Also, RE: PJ Harvey's new song I love.

Ciara is another of those people who I had the album of when I first got into music properly. She reminds me of Windows Media Player...it feels wrong playing it on iTunes. (that, and it's dated badly :p) In the spirit of reliving music I used to love; listening to CKY.

Relistening to Kelly Clarkson's second (?) album, Breakaway. I forgot it existed, and now it's bringing back so many memories of 2005/6. Obviously not particularly great, but she's the best thing to come out the Idol-type shows imo. Or most interesting.

I burned my finger of a lightblub. Ow. Trying to do more sketchbook stuff for going back to college tomorrow, I chose to do superheroes, and tie that into various possible themes like identity, childhood, imagination, human desire to transcend cicrumstance etc, but I hate how we have to "fill 3 double-page spreads!" with observational drawing, when that's hardly what I need to do. I should be doing a film again, but I can't really see how it'll translate...or I can't imagine making a film yet. Which is probably good, because you're not meant to think about the final piece until later on.

Well I'm planning on getting a job, I'm gonna ask my tutors if they'd do a reference tomorrow...
*sigh*
Well, we'll see. I just want like a new start, like I imagine uni is meant to be. I know just moving away anywhere would do that, but Kingston cries my name through it's hallowed halls.

Yeah, obviously as an art student I get this all the time. *shrug* Mine revolves around things never bein satisfyingly "done", or not thinking I can do something, so I don't, as opposed to ability. I think I can draw and paint decently (though, and people find this strange, I hate the way I paint...it's the opposite style of the kinds of Painters I love.).
