It really takes a ridiculous amount to get me drunk. For me, it seems to be about how much I drink in a short space of time..I sober up (relatively) fast between each drink otherwise. Drank loads tonight, fairly sober, and will remember all this tomorrow. The club was closing down tonight though, so feels fine giving the workers some final money. And they played If You Seek Amy. And I played matchmaker between my two lesbian friends.

It's a foul opinion. It's "support" that lets young people think it's wrong, and so the young bullies as well. Opinions are lovely for us all to have, but sometimes we have to cut the crap and deal with disgusting people on their terms. -
Yeah I wrote a post about how Walking Dead was still a "superhero" comic based on various things but didn't know how to word it, so didn't bother. Oxigen put it better. I keep meaning to read things like Black Hole, but never get around to it. Plus I love superheroes, so they take up most of my reading time. -- In other news X-men Legacy was awesome! I can't help but wish it was Chris Bachalo drawing it - Clay Mann is incredibly dull/plain. And the Children of the Vault's return just seems underwhelming with him drawing. But yeah, after 2 issues of Rogue and co. wandering around Mumbai, stuff actually happens. And it's coooooool. I wish Leinel Yu did interiors as well as the BRILLIANT covers. Seriously some of my favourite covers of the year. Could be a joke team - Rogue, Magneto, Indra, Loa and Anole. Although the second one looks a bit like Magneto is unzipping Rogue's costume, and she is shocked at the fact.

It was nice, I think I liked the video more than the song though. 6.7/10 --- This song showed up as Pitchfork's 8th best song of the 1990's, which suprised me. I like it, but I wonder what everyone else thinks of it. It's an interesting choice, but I keep seeing Aaliyah listed as the best of the best, and should probably give her more time.

Doesn't sound very accidental to me. Sounds like you did it on purpose. I don't mind pigeons. Although apparently if I leave my flat's kitchen window open while no one's in the room, pigeons will overrun it.

I never believe Chair when he says Toy Story is his least favourite (bar cars). It's as though I know he'll one day rewatch it and realise it was just a case of "old thing that isn't as interesting to think about as the new and current one" syndrome. If that makes sense. Cause I watched it a few weeks ago, and it's brilliant. So are 2 and 3. It's better than Incredibles. And Nemo. And Wall-E, if we stop lying to each other.

I only know the big famous songs from the first albums (I have Oops I Did It Again from when it first came out, but least said about the album tracks on that, the better), but In The Zone and Blackout are great pop albums. In The Zone is my favourite. It felt less "producty". Like she might have had a hand in/enjoyed making it. I didn't think her last one was very good. Of course I find her credibility next to nil, but her name has been put to some entertaining pop songs.

I love the atmosphere of the Flintstones...it always gave off the sense that where they lived was really desolate, no one else was there etc. That's in hindsight. It was one of my faves when I was younger. I hated how I never saw the episode/s introducing Pebbles and Bam-Bam. Do they even exist? Do you see Wilma struggle through pregnancy?

Technically whenever Husk uses her powers to turn her full body into a new material, she is completely naked. She has to "husk" herself a new costume out of skin. It's disgusting. Also on the topic of X-scantiness: I raise you Goblyn Queen. I love the subtle phallic metaphor in that pic.

Yeah, got my group, it;s a 1-5 minute film piece based on/starting from the themes of either Repetition, Space (in relation to anything), loops, palindromes and other stuff. Quite open ended. My group and I are just batting ideas around atm. I think I'm the only one to have done much research yet. One of the ideas my friend had seems a bit cold and dead, I wanna try and get some of my ideas out there tomorrow.
We have to take role in the process, and I said I'd be editing (though we all share responibility obvs), but then I'm scared of ending up with a concept rooted in a shit/no idead. I'm all about concepts and ideas. That's where I'm best I think...so might try directing or something. -
I don't understand how you get the little shooter thing onto other websites. Dragging it to places just brings up "Failed to open page."

Really good so far My flat mates are nice, but one is literally a dire person. A really sad case, and you just don't know what to do. She makes no effort to try and be part of everyone else, and is just (it sounds horrible, but it's the most apt way to describe it) uncool. And she is attention-seeking but in that awkward, negative way. During dinner, she'll go "Well I've never had any friends, so..." and then expects us to say something. We just stare at each other. It's awful. She's not even a nice person. ANYWAY. The rest are all nice.
But I'm so glad that I've made a decent friend group from my course (which I expected), and I get on with everyone on my course so far.
But yeah it's good. My friend-for-years-from-home-that-isnt-Chair-or-trotterp was down last night and it was cool to just be like "Look, I have a life! And friends!". Cause you're always scared you'll end up with no mates/etc. But that rarely happens.
SO YEAH IT'S GUD.

I'm going to the BFI for 1pm in Southbank today, if you feel like a forum meet-up/ don't, I'm on a field trip. I did say I would meet Razz one day though. Lul. I'm also there all evening as I'm meeting my mum. I have to gather my sexually foward project group and get on the train first though. Which'll be a feat in itself.
