Finally bought her album. It's just... *lies on a bed* A triumph. Is there a prize for best thing of the year?

Has this not ended yet? Lawd. Vote: Jonnas

In the forum from which reZ, Chair and I originated, and we brought mafia over from, users can open and close threads they create. This helps a lot in mafia games. Any chance of that being implemented over here? It creates a feeling of conciseness and forbids people from talking at night. This post is completely contradictory of course, but since we're at it... :p

Just set limits realistically. 36 hours. That's more than enough time.

Lack of existence/death (not the pain of, the fact we all experience, yet can on no level ever comprehend it in a satisfactory or comforting way). But I've emo'd out on that on his forum many times so will spare you.

A vertical version of this, also incorporating the film title "Machete" - £4, from the Poster fay-ur. I just love that image. Reminds me of a potential Tori Amos album cover. And then money on Carlsberg and Magners.

Unfortuntely, while the current (last almost 10 years as well) direction of X-Men is interesting, with the students (which makes more sense than what the school was for 30 years before that) everywhere, it means less panel-time for most characters. Especially since Cyclops has become the main character completely over time (which people are a bit sick of). Other characters have suffered due to this, I've found. Emma doesn't really have a voice anymore, less "important" characters can't get any good character moments in, as everything has to further Cyclops/the event/whatever. While Legacy's direction seems interesting, with Rogue and Magneto as the main characters training the younger students, I can't help but feel like I'd rather see a few other interesting proper X-Men in their place. The arc of Legacy during Necrosha (...) was what I'd like to see more of; Rogue, Magneto, then a joke team selection - Psylocke, Colossus, Husk and Trance. It's why I love Astonishing (Whedon's run). Even now it's gone less astonishing, I still value it for it's old X-Men feel.

Are people still reading Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine? I think it's been great so far (half-way through). Adam Kubert's art is stun, and lends the whole thing a sense of official-ness. But it's just a cool story so far.

OMG that bald guy/the villain is Grant Morrison!!!! My favourite man. My favourite writer. I'm going to be sick, but laugh whilst.

Why is that design so bad? You didn't give us time to look at it.

Hmm. I know this is a Chaos War tie-in (where all the dead fight or whatever happens) but I'm just not really hyped up for it. Is it not a Hercules-centric event? I read Hulk thogh and apparently that'll play a decent part.

No, I have the individual issues though. What happening on the pages that are upside down?

Yeah, I'm not afraid of heights, but I do have a real thing about lack of protection/safety. They're too good.

Yeah, he's currently here in Edinburgh today, blocking everyone's bus routes and generally being the most digusting use of tax payers money (in facilitating his trip here).

I think you are. Change Vote: Dannyboy

Bought this at Deadhead Comics today for £8 - I actually went to get Astonishing X-Men Xenogenesis 3, but either it's not out yet or they didn't have it. They have a good amount of "hard to find" tpbs/out of stock online tpbs. And my new thing is to get as much X-Men stuff I missed out on since I stopped reading after Morrison as I can.

Daredevil is actually really interesting, like a more genuinely engaging Batman, with a "Marvel" feel. Never given Black Panther the time of day so can't say much. Never read anything that makes him appeal to me, and his marriage to Storm has stifled her as a character.

Avatar - just an image, not resized or anything. Your old one was better of her. Sig - Standard gamertag thing. 4.10 overall. -
I like the fact Way is connected to comics. Apparently Umbrella Academy (the one he writes/wrote) is brill. And he's friends with Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely. They were in the audience with me when I saw them live 3 years ago. If I'd loved them as much then as I did now, I would have spent the entire concert trying to find them. Even though I have nothing to say, and would probably ruin their evening.

I have a real urge to watch all the Resident Evil films, despite never playing the games/knowing anything about it. Even if they're bad. I imagine they're the sorts of things I'd enjoy despite/because. Is it anything like Ultraviolet? That was shit. I love Milla Jovovich though. She's my favourite. I saw her in an art gallery gift shop once. And I like her album (!).

I watched the first two episodes when they first aired and hated. I think I stopped before it became something people might actually want to watch.

I almost finished Apocalypse when my coputer fell apart/stopped. I really liked it. It annoyed me though - Wonder Woman was more integral to the story than Batman (other than a few points, he had no reason to be there), yet wasn't billed in the title. (Yeah I know this was based on the comic, but here it felt like they may as well have credited her properly) Barda was glorious. Thought her intro scene was funny, and generally the battle choreography with her and the Furies. I missed the last 3 minutes or whatever. Will finish it tomorrow.

I confess to a like of some of their stuff. They were as far as my foray into emo ever went, and I do quite enjoy Black Parade for it's theatricality and OTT-ness. (still to the this day, though with less fervor) Can't be bothered with the crap production of their first one, and their middle one is alright. I think I view them through nostalgic eyes though. Considering I hate all other bands like them now.

I love that reference. I need to see Season 2!! -- When I was 15/16, we were walking to a friend's house to drink, and people generally brought what alcohol they could from their house, and I told my friend all I had was Bucks Fizz from my birthday a while ago, and he was like "BRING IT!". So I said "Okaylol." Anyway. We'd been walking for ages doing shit all and I was generally bored with carrying stuff so I opened my innocent Bucks Fizz, when a Police officer/car decided to to question us cause I was holding what liked like questionable stuff. Anyway I panicked (I don't get in trouble) and was like imaging myself on death row. My mum also told me if you have a criminal record, you weren't allowed to go to the US (and we were about to go on holiday there). The guy made me pour it out (I'm sure assuming it was hard liquer hidden within or something), and I poured it all over my shoes in shock and horror. Anyway, he let us all go. Not a very good story, I must say.
