I've been listening to Private Dancer loads recently. I love. The video was shit. Johnny Mathis - I liked it. It felt sad. Like there was a sadness present, but not gone on about. 7/10 --- Since I... Met you... Crank up the volume.

I want to run a DC Comics mafia, after Chairs/Jays/Dannys/whenever. I'd rather just run it when sign-ups are done/roles are done than wait till January or whatever.
-
I use Stuffit expander too.

Not necessarily in a Chairdriver game. :p Although it would make it easier for us non-info gatherers... Vote: ReZ Let's apply the pressure.

Sorry for not being on, mass internet troubles and Uni have interrupted. I'm trying catch up.

It'll be great, don't worry. I'm in the process of re-inventing myself/getting nice clothes for once. I need to dye my hair soon, it's gone ginger as the dark brown has washed out, revealing it's former bleached/pink state, now orange. I might just bleach it.

White trousers - £14 Fuck H+M's no student discount. Still cheap though. £3 Because I only own a shitty free-with-a-newspaper copy, and it's still one of the best films I've ever seen/my favourites. Brill brill brill. And then I WON a copy of Hellboy II: The Golden Army in a film quiz at uni today! I'm great.

I bought two t-shirts/tees from topman, for £9! It was 2 for £12 which was already decent, but student discount on top. I realised I have no nice clothes. So I bought one of those V-neck t-shirts, purple, and a white one with buttons so you could do the V neck bit up if you were so inclined.

Dun-dun-duuuuuuun! (?) Did everyone see the timeline Tony mapped out in Avengers 5? It's been the topic of heavy debate since it's been "confirmed" it all ties to stuff that will come to pass (so they say...) Well the little scribble saying "yesterday's x-men" has been debated too (some thinking it refers just to the dead rising in Chaos War - personally I doubt it), and now this teaser image for an unconfirmed project/announcement/something for May next year has been released... I hope Jean does return. While I love the fact they've actually let her be dead for years, I feel like she could return the main X-Men books to being something interesting. And I want to see what happens when she returns with Cyclops. Since she's technically in the White Hot Room/not truly dead, and has had interactions with some X-Men since dying, she presumably knows what's gone on. (At least I think that it was really her helping Emma against Lady Mastermind in the Sisterhood story)

I hated the relaxation one, if it was meant to be serious. Bad sound editing for bad sound, that shouldn't have been there. For an example of amazing "relaxing" talking in a film context, watch Synecdoche,New York (the VERY end). Diane Wiest's speech-y bit at the end is gorgeous on the ears. Tori Amos' speaking voice (lololnothersingingvoice) is also unbelievably relaxing. Don't whisper. Don't jarringly edit it. Also the dialogue/advice was just funny. "Melt into your own happiness." - no. I prefer the other "weird" one.

I laughed at the spitting bit, it's something I'd find funny. The rest was typical comedy rainbow (I didn't like it), but it wasn't awful.

:mad:/ Fine. It's so emotive as a song. I don't even know what the lyrics are. It kinda makes me feel a bit sick when I listen to it...it gives me a really strange feeling in my head. I think it's amazing. The "vrrrrrr" bit she does. *lies on the floor* Fair enough though. :p --- Cuckoo is one of the only Lissie songs I have little time for. Too Avril Lavigne. I ike a lot of the rest of the album. 5/10 ---

I love so much. The theme tune. The concept.

I didn't like it. I hate the dramatics. And the repetitiveness. It inspires nothing, I felt nothing. Please rate:

Yeah but she didn't when we last saw her so yeah. Assumed, but then remembered months pass between panel these days.

Oh god, you share a room? I couldn't do that...it would be awful. I'm a bit bored atm, but then the timetable for today was a lie, so we finished at 2 instead of 4, and my friends were going into town after, but only to go to Sainsbury's, PLUS they all live in a diferent hall. Which is annoying. So I thought I'd just go back to mine. Hmm. Otherwise student life is stunning me. Due to afformentioned timetable fuck-up we were all in uni early so we just went shopping. I love getting 20% off everywhere with my student discount. I feel like I can finally buy clothes. [/meant for the non-existent HWYD]

OH. It's their baby. I didn't get it. Obviously it's a metaphorical/whatever cover. / WAIT Didn't Kirkman say Mark had been in space for a long time? I love. Fuck me in a hell dimension.

I love. I haven't taken it all in/I'm sure it'll become clearer as we get familiar with the characters. I wasn't in the write-up...

I love. That's the film I want to make.

I've only had champagne a handful of times, at events/functions. Presumably cheap. It was nice.

Was brilliant. This is my most anticipated title. Annoyed by length of time between each issue, but it's so worth it for Kaare Andrew's art, and for being one of the only good/interesting X-Men comics out now. Uncanny can DIAF. His Storm is possibly my favourite version of her I've ever seen. Just the visual changes of her and Emma have added a whole new dynamic to the team, and especially Storm and Cyclops. It's odd, but compelling having two great leaders on the team, usually the writer has one take the background role. But Storm here is drawn and written as completely in control, and while Cyclops leads the team, her prescence is so large (I think she's taller than most of the others too). In comparison, Emma's role in the team is put under scrutiny/put in a new light by Andrews representing her as impish and ridiculous. It completely changes how she's been seen in the comics for years now, the randomly appointed deputy leader of the X-Men, whose personality has been a shadow of it's former self for ages. But yeah, new definitive Storm outfit/visual. The face with the original arched eyebrows, the mohawk, the fact she's barefoot. It's like an "Oh YEAH!" moment, when something finally makes sense. Only negative is Armor being there but doing nothing. Seems a bit pointless. Though apparently this was meant to be an arc after Ghost Boxes in main Astonishing, so I suppose just removing her would have made less sense.

I've enjoyed a fair amount of her new album..a lot is complete rubbish though. A good pop hook always lures me in. My favourite is probaby Circle The Drain, which is a bit more "rocky"/aggresive. It grew on me. I dislike her media personality/prescence.
