I never drink for comfort or whatever, and actively often don't drink at kinda family party/meal situations. I'm not interested, and I think my upbringing (my mum) has drilled some sort of "Alcohol is not for family-time" thing into me.

I'm just sick of Morgan Freeman being the same character in every film. But Nicole Kidman is a good one actually. Very hit and miss.

It's fine, I was just in a momentary daze. I realised tonight I actually get on with loads of people and have met tonnes of people, and love everyone on my course for various reasons, and that's clearly where my besties will be. My flat has united under the umbrella of bitching about our other housemate.

Only shit people. Like I say, it would be atrocious to even try to do his artwork in anything resembling the DCUA style. It's all based of Bruce Timm's art...there couldn't be two artists more different!

Looks shite compared to the comics. I wish there was some way to get Frank Quitely's art to animate, but it wouldn't work within the DCUA template they always use (and only manipulate slightly). His art would need like proper Sylvain Chomet treatment, proper animation studios working hard to break away from a cheap and easy way of doing it.

I need the tpb's from that era! (the "ReLoad" era or whatever) Where did you get that one? Last I checked most were sold out/expensive on Amazon. That Divided We Stand one I bought (posted in this thread) was really, really boring. Mike Choi's art is incredibly dull. I like the choice of villain, but the whole thing was CLEARLY filler.

I love the artist of 100 Bullets. I've only read his Batman arc (Broken City), with the 100 Bullets writer, but I love it. Might read 100 bullets one day. But there's so much else I need to read as well.

I still have no idea what the word "overwhelming" means in regards to a thread. What were you overwhelmed by? If everyone was talking about something you had no interest in, well, just ask if people like something you do. If you were completely new to anime, just post asking for recommendations etc. I don't understand this mentality of not interrupting perceived conversations.

Seems new to me. Kinda interesting, if hard to actually add. They can't really be an essential part of the comic, that would be silly for those who have no inclination to search for them online or whatever, and take away from the story. Dunno.

Let's not forget the write-ups in this game (I know I haven't...), if you do anything, you're plastered up there for anyone to see. If I suddenly decided to kill someone despite telling everyone I wouldn't, you'd all see, and fair's fair, you should lynch me probably. (Unless it was a suspected mafia we agreed I should target)

I'm a bit bored atm. It feels like loads of other people all go out into town with their flatmates (it's Fresher's week) but we (my flat) all get on, but not much more, there's no spice. I don't even want to go to a club or anything, I only ever liked going to them if the people I was going with I loved, but we're just...fallow. We did have fun at the student union bar last night though. I think its the tragic person in our flat bringing everyone else down. I wanted a really party-ish flat in halls. The one upstairs is. I'm hoping my coursemates are who I'll end up spending lots of time with, as I've got on so well with them all so far, but so far I just feel like Freshers is going a bit to waste.

So no one believes Danny just wrote the write-up really badly? I'd like to see if the next write-ups are suddenly correctly written so someone isn't incriminated due to a mod mistake... (semi-incriminated)

It's a pretty shitty/random excuse to just go "...No..um..actually..the write-up is wrong..." so why would I even do it unless I had to! It's Dannyboy's mistake that I'll have to live with. (Sounds like a Jeremy Kyle show ) UM. I'm clearly not going to do anything at night, that would be completely pointless on my part, after telling you guys how dangerous my power is and that I won't use it. Just get someone to watch me (NOT FOLLOW BECAUSE I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE) if you're that scared. Additionally you could just realise that since we all show up on the write-up, I won't be there presumably.

ReZ, please. You act as though I have bad taste in comics.:awesome: It's not a bad comic, but completely unnecessary, and adds nothing. The pacing is completely off (up to where I read) and it just rings hollow. Invincible is the only Kirkman superhero thing I've read really worth it.
