What happens if I'm O2?

Hmm I have no idea what the deal is, other than my dad has a contract that allows him to give me loads of free minutes (more than I ever use) and unlimited free texts. And free calls to other O2 phones. It was a special deal since they fucked up something and wanted his custom. But how would that affect if I got a contract phone? I'm terrified. He's no use. He told me to buy a new back for my existing phone. :/

I pointlessly made a thread over on general without thinking about coming here. I want a "nice"/"fancy" (relative to my falling apart phone) phone, for the first time in my life. I want it to be under £200. In fact, as close to £100 as possible. I don't understand phones or pricing. I just want the handset, not fancy contracts (I don't think). Tell me what I want.

Oh yeah. I've never ventured over there though, and am terrified of what I might find. Feel free to move it. *says to no one in particular*

I'm stunned by the font, even if I thought it was meant to say "Revo", as some random allusion to Revolution. *shrug*

It's a fucking fictional SHIT neverending TV show. Deal with it, absolute cunts.

I want a new phone. My current is physically falling apart, and often just turns off randomly, or reception is lost for hours on end (in areas it should work). When phones first became "popular" among young adults/teens/children, I really didn't care about whether my phone was "stylish" or not. I've gone from bricks to just whatever my dad has handed me. My one request phone-wise was for a thinner phone so it wouldn't annoy me so much when it was in my pocket. Otherwise I've just taken what I've been given. But recently I've started to want things more. And now I want a nice phone. I want one that looks nice and does interesting things. Prefferably not over £200/£150. But then I have no idea how phone shopping works. I rarely see a "price". I have a sim card, I just want the handset. I see a lot of my peers have the Blackbery Curve, which seems nice. I have no use for a phone as a business asset, are Blackberrys still made for that purpose? Am I telling lies? Do I know what I'm talking about. Aren't iPhones like £500? Why do everyday people have them? I don't get it. Do iPhones accept Sim Cards? I know nothing about phones. RECOMMEND ME A PHONE THAT I WOULD LIKE CAUSE I DON'T KNOW kthxbi

And in Edinburgh too. Sorry English cunts. *waves empty Fopp bag he found while cleaning his room*

Yeah there's a chinese girl on my course (who is hilarious, and her best friend is a stunning caucasian version of her, and happens to be an M.I.A style rapper) and she has a monobrow as a fashion statement. It suits her so well though. I love dem chinese.

That's a good point. And her whole "different personality" thing has been around in her music since forever so I suppose going crazy visually makes sense too.
-
I'm just clapping at: "Better" than her album at showing what actually makes her a worthwhile artist, though the album has a nice aural aesthetic. So I'd recommend that ^ first, but if you hate it, try the album too, in case.
-
Well that's your own idiocy. But I'll change it for the sake of spreading her gospel to those who, like yourself, are resistant. And clearly Mcj listened to Check It Out, the worst one, so I need to get rid of that.

Bump because I love. Her famous mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty is better than her album/is more "!!!", I've discovered. I'm just left, hand over mouth, rocking back and forth*. I'm both annoyed she didn't put it on the album, and stunned that she didn't. *Only a little bit. --- I think her rapping really stuns me because I have a history of speech problems/stammering/processing problems (on the dyslexic scale), and If I speak too fast I just..can't. Hearing someone speak really fast is like an out of body experience and feels really weird in my head. Like makes me a little out of breath just thinking about it. Even now If I try and speak too fast/without thinking about it ahead of time I trip up orally. [/Paj factoid]

I love. --- I try and be conservative, but not really. I'll use 2-3 squares at a time. But multiple 2-3 Squares (as is required).

I have no opinion on this. I liked the 1997 when I saw it. In 1997. I was 5, possibly 6. So yeah.

Got my Swine Flu vaccine today. Fuck you, pigs! I haven't been ill all this Xmas holiday, but have got a sore throat (or the onset of one, it's not bad yet) right now. Awaiting more pain and suffering to head my way soon.

Sorry, genuinely missed it. Hmm. I hate Invincible's face, but then again it's surely the hardest thing to do stunningly without "proper" sculpting tools/abilitez. And it's stunning compared to what I/everyone else could do. And a really hard expression to pull off. I like the body. Alien space rider thing is good.

Yeah, I'm both "!!!" and "..." since a few months ago I spent £40 on the original issues. :p I suppose they're still valuable. And in any case I didn't buy them for the value.

He can climb with a full costume on. He exerts some sort of tiny electromagnetic shiz just slightly out of his skin, allowing him to climb to buildings whilst wearing his costume. (IIRC)

Well, Happenstance's "jab" failed since New X-Men DID have terrible art from Igor Kordey, not Quitely. So you actually just told the truth (if not the whole truth). It helps to read New X-Men before I think. The fact it's absolutely stunning is also a reason to read it. But yeah, Astonishing can be read on it's own. Just elements of it ring more stunningly post New X-Men.

Why would anyone want to read spoilers? I hate. People aren't meant to know spoilers ahead of time.
-
Blackest Night is hardly essential, and really anti what he is looking for (stuff without baggage and involving the back catalogue much). Astonishing X-men is also very subjective...sure it's "contained", but refers constantly to the immediately previous run (New X-Men by Grant Morrison), and is a sort of spiritual sequel to that. It's brilliant, but a better starting point is New X-Men.

No, the Andrew Garfieldness. He just looks like...the guy from Social Network. Lol. Obviously. I dunno. I can't imagine him doing it well. WHO KNOWS?! I'm over the film already/can't possibly judge it.
