I stick here with very occasional lurkings in the Wii/DS boards. I followed Chair and ReZ here from another forum, so I didn't join the site because it was about Nintendo. It could have been about anything.

How dare you?! They're all stunners, Just cause they're not famous doesn't meant they're not great.
-
How VERY dare you?! EA churned me out a brilliant, respectful member of society.

Well I'd never heard of him. Though apparently he's part of Adam and Joe, which rings a bell. I don't listen to radio. He does have stunning taste in music though. He introduced me to . -
Yeah I know. Her name has been in the air of my household since I was a babe, since she's my mum's favourite person or something (when she was on E.R).

Originally track 2 on Body Talk Pt.1, after Don't Fucking Tell Me What To Do, with the release of the proper album (Body Talk) after the release of all 3 parts seperately, those two songs are swapped but still start off the tracklist. Pitchfork mentioned how it's a perfect "mission statement" or whatever - it kinda sums her up so well. How this album (which is brilliant) is bursting with synths and electronic sounds that it runs the risk of becoming cold and detached. And I bet it would, in the hands of a lesser talent. But Fembots have feelings too, and Robyn has an indescribable talent of being able to fill a cold aural environment with a tonne of emotion and life.

Reminds me of/sounds like Adam Buxton. A guy who I think is on radio, but runs a joke thing called BUG at the BFI where he shows stunning music videos. I saw him in a preview thing for film students and he spent lots of time doing this sort of thing (live). -
I love everything he says. He's clearly a Flash enemy (not a villain). The Red Rider, can ride air currents at up to 112mph.
-
I love her Could-Be-Famke-Janssen face.
-
I've heard that's good. I could need.

Don't Give Up. Just do Pure. We all prefer Pure. Pure is great.

It started in 1993, when I was 2. And tbf, it'll be a Battlestar Galactica-style remake, keeping the core concept/theme intact, whilst whittling away the shite and creating only stunning things. And obviously I'd have to rewatch the entire series again. Idris Elba is quite "old"...thought it could be a lol not making it typical "young adults" as the rangers, and having more of a mix of ages. I'm also very dubious of having a black person as the black ranger, just cause it fosters needless criticism about racism blah blah. If it wasn't an already known thing, I'd deal with it. But I'd rather tell jokes with the colours. I need to plan how to translate the concept of Power Rangers properly. I imagine a twist on the GL Corps.

CONTACT THE POWER RANGERS AT ONCE beep beep BUH BUH BEEP BEEP We need Dinosaur Power NAAAAAAW MASTODON! PTERODACTYL! TRICERATOPS! SABRETOOTH TIGER! TYRANNOSAURUS! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH I HATE THE POWER RANGERS! I HATE THE POWER RANGERS! --- I'm remaking it as my first major Hollywood film. ReZ is...doing something too. Like... there, giving me ideas. I love how completely innapropriate it is that the Black Ranger is a black man, and the Yellow Ranger is Asian! How did that slip through? But yeah. I loved so much. My favourite thing was my Pink, Red and Yellow Ranger figures with heads that switched between their helmets and their normal identities.

I've never had a job. I'm studying Filmmaking. Clearly the most vocational "art". But therapy/psychoanalysis is my new favourite thing.

I enjoyed that more than most (presumably) amateur mash-ups. Not STUNNING, but reasonably enjoyable. Though less enjoyable than any one of the included songs seperately. --- Posted here by me before, but I'm still reeling. My favourite audio/visual thing ever. Die Antwoord feat. Diplo and Wanga - Evil Boy

I'm floored. I remember. You were so trying to be me. Only I am allowed to have badly straightened wig-hair, John.
-
I love the album opener. Especially when it's an absolute stunner, but NOT a single. (obviously more poignant with a more mainstream/popular band/artist)

Everything you said has pretty much been around as long as pop/rock music has. Lol how? Other than the fact that she's changed tone a bit for her album (and she addresses that in a song on the actual album), I don't get where this comes from. She's one of the few up and coming successful female singers/rappers to have clearly carved their own path for YEARS before getting any sort of success. She's only had a big record company behind her very recently. You have to either be completely manufactured as an act these days to get backing from the music industry, or an artist that shows they do their own thing, and carve their own path.* Still I rise, Still I fight, Still I might crack a smile Keep my eyes on the prize, see my haters tell 'em hi One day you'll remember this One day when we reminisce Nothing I do ever is, good enough for the music bizz *note I'm not denying any influence signing to a major label has had on her or her music.

Mentally. I don't understand why some people don't actively seek out new music/love the discovery of new music.

The title of BSG puts people off, when it's so not "about" space/aliens/future etc. It's "about" so much more.
-
You're the sickest person I know.

A little bit. I'm not sure if it disappointed...maybe it was more how hurried the run-up to the Season 5 climax of Angel was...it left me all very dry. Not necessarily a BAD ending, but it felt badly done. I still haven't decided what I think of it really.

Get out the fokk out of the kitchen if you cannot take the heat. --- The song I was going to post is so unheard of ("Hangman" - Tangle Eye, Alan Lomax's Southern Journey Remixed) it's not even available to listen to on the net. So underground and socio-political and philosophical.
