    Twin Peaks

The music was good, but I always skipped the intro sequence. Lordy. Not sitting there for 2 minutes every time watching birds/factories/water.
  2. You're my new idol.

  4. I very rarely buy DVDs of films I see at the cinema. I tend to buy films on DVD that I missed first time around, or they're old and so obviously I didn't see them. A lot of things I see at the cinema would be "hollywood" stuff that is good for one viewing and then never again. Plus "chart" DVD's are so expensive. I did ask for (and get) Inception and Toy Story 3 on DVD for Xmas though, as I enjoyed both and wanted to see them again.
  5. HSM2 is a hilarious film when the sound is altered/muted.
  6. I want it. But I'm on a filthy mac. If I had bootcamp like on my Big Mac (lozl) I might be able to play it on the Windows half of it. I could play Lego Batman and Sims like that. Hmm.
  7. Fuck my life.
  8. I've been up all night, stitching you a present in a fit of madness.

    Twin Peaks

Yeah while the endind is so ripe for more to be seen, I feel really at ease with it, everything was in it's right place. I thought they were hoping for a third season...that's why they had kinda random plot developments later on like
  10. SO I've FINALLY (after buying and watching Season 1 two years or more ago) finished Twin Peaks. I need time to digest it. Has anyone else seen it all? I'm so stunned, but then have obvious opinions that need to be shared RE; Season 2 that I expect everyone has.
  11. LIBRA - STARSWITCH INTO VIRRRRRRGGGOGOOOOOOOOOO You absolute beginners.
  12. ^ Rapport?
  13. I don't recall a bad haircut experience. My hair is a tragedy and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, and I'm always depressed when I leave a hairdresser, because it STILL looks awful and like a ragdoll, but that's not the fault of the hairdresser or the cut itself. Chair has a ripe one that I will cruelly show you all without his consent (it's on facebook so deal with it): I think his sister did it.
  14. Closer never gets old, so it's fine.
  15. I can't tolerate films with bad dialogue, unless its intentional. (like Batman & Robin )
  16. Diageo is a loser, and other headlines, at 6. : peace:
  17. Crying. Too good for me. I don't know where to look.
  18. This is the end of everything. I've been "out" of comics for a few month now. Can't afford to buy all the ones I want/my comic shop only gets selects for some reason. I can't breathe.
  19. Yeah, I've never been a fan of uber-intelligent Peter Parker. It's very rarely mentioned/implied, unless suddenly a magical deus ex machina compound/chemical needs to be made i nthe nick of time. Not a fan.
  20. Well Ultimate Universe Cap (who this is hopefully based off, and seems to be visually) upgraded when he awoke in present day. See Happenstance's post for an example:
  21. He still "invents" it in Ultimate Spider-Man, only it's SLIGHTLY more realistic in that it was actually an old project of his father's. Web Shooters > Organic. We're dealing with Superheroes, let's not be nitpicky.
  22. The new trailer is out. Seems Chair and I's friend will be the queen bitch. Still looks like a really "..." show though.
  23. Because they're his web shooters, which would make more sense being outside his costume anyway (as they're always depicted as being fairly bulky, but somehow never seen through the fabric), AND Ben Reilly (who is the guy in both those costumes with the "flashy bracelets") upgraded them/had special ones that had impact webbing and stingers. Things you would actually have if you were fighting evil maniacs every day.
  24. I need to watch Scott Pilgrim again, mainly cause I really enjoyed it ,but saw a "bad wuality" version "somewhere" (...) and so I missed some of the visual jokes entirely It was on display in the Blu-Ray bit of HMV, and I actually laughed out loud when it showed Chris Evans' character's advert for his new movie, with the tiny tagline, "Kiss me, I'm dying." I love.
