  1. For me already being a Sony adopter, I tend to find I get confused with most games only showing Xbox controls on PC, when I tried connecting my PS4 Controller I often found myself doing wrong inputs because of the layout. I could certainly stretch the budget that far or even to the normal price, the d-pad certainly has changed from pictures and it looks like it would be easier to do inputs on it. Will have to look into it since you can get a discount for a 3 month PC game pass on Amazon. Thank you both for the swift responses.
  2. So the D-pad on my Xbox One PC controller isn't working properly, it doesn't always register my pressing up which really messes with me in rhythm games like Muse Dash. So I was looking into getting a new one for Christmas, but should I go with another one or should I try a 3rd party controller? I have a budget of about £42 so any suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. So fans have finally been let back in at some football grounds at the weekend and surprise, surprise Millwall fans mar what should be a joyous occasion by booing the players taking a knee. Millwall dismayed and saddened by fans booing players taking a knee ahead of Derby County match
  4. It is weird having all my Christmas shopping for family and friends done so early this year. Normally it would come to the wire where everything is bought with a day or two spare but here I am just needing to wrap everything now and it's only the 5th.
  5. Thanks to the Amazon Black Friday Sale I was finally able to get a new 2TB SSD to replace the basic 250GB that came with my PC. Went with the Sandisk Ultra 3D SSD, though I had been hoping to get the Samsung 860 EVO 2 when it was £189.99, but when I went to order it the price had gone up by £50 which took it out of my price range, which was disappointing but I'm more than satisfied with the speed I have now compared to my old one.
  6. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.breaking-hamilton-ruled-out-of-sakhir-grand-prix-after-testing-positive-for.43GvWfdyvajkyisofT26LX.html I wonder who will get that seat at the weekend.
  7. What an accident right at the start, I was in complete shock when that Haas hit the barrier and it burst into flames. I was fearing the worst for Grosjean. The camera shot at turn 4 showing him emerge from the flames as he jumped over the barrier to the waiting safety Marshall was surreal, as well as seeing that the car actually got split in two from the impact, hence the explosion. It's a miracle he has only gotten slight burns and potentially a couple of broken ribs, shows that the safety measures in place have worked, even the halo might have saved his life.
  8. I would be tempted by the Autumn sale if the bigger Winter sale wasn't just around the corner. I know the bigger sales aren't as great as they used to be but I kinda wanna wait it out but some games that haven't been on sale on my wishlist are now. I am conflicted.
  9. My phone contract expired last month so went and upgraded to the Sony Xperia 5 II I also bought a couple of co-op/Multiplayer games to play with mates during lockdown Got this one as a gift from a friend And bought these for single player/streaming games All the games are PC/Steam versions. Finally, I bought some new pillows a couple months ago, but I started suffering from neck and back pain/discomfort in the mornings and doing a physically demanding job wasn't helping, so I ended up buying a sleepeasy pillows that helps with that.
  10. The most outrageous part about it is the red card that Everton got later on in the match, similar situation with the whistle being blown before the challenge happens, the inconsistency of it is laughable.
  11. Whilst a Birthday gift from my Parents, I did actually order these for them to get me. DuskDiver Day one edition for Nintendo Switch and Made in Abyss on Blu Ray, I am saving the money for Prime Day. Also got gifted this from a former work colleague on Steam
  12. I went into deadline day expecting nothing, Houssem Aouar stated the day before he was staying at Lyon and little was being said about Thomas Partey so I went in to it with my expectations rock bottom. Then all of a sudden it was being reported that Arsenal were going to meet Thomas Parteys release clause and when it got confirmed I kept my eyes on Sky Sports News the rest of the evening after my Gaming stream. When it got announced I was buzzing, we finally have a true midfield enforcer who sits in front of the back 4 to protect it and he's just entered the peak of his powers. It appears as though Diego Simeone is not happy after getting Lucas Torriera from us on loan as he wanted to pair them both in his midfield but that's what the Atletico board get for putting a release clause that low in his contract, they honestly thought they were going to mug us off, maybe the board aren't as incompetent as they have seemed the last couple of seasons. I can see us having a real go at the top 4 this season now. On the negative side though, sacking the club mascot of 27 years Gunnersaurus in order to cut costs shows a lack of respect to the man in the suit for that entire 27 year period. At least the fans realise his contribution since a GoFundMe page has been set up for him.
  13. I had no prior experience to the Scott Pilgrim series before the game my then housemate got, it was a real blast and now I can own the game myself. Happy days. <3
  14. Why would Guardiola have set up to counter Lyon? City have the better players so you would have thought they would have let Lyon figure out how to beat them. They didn't look comfortable at all in the game, like FierceLink said, he dicked the players around by changing too much and it showed. The luck went against them too with the second goal because while minimal there was contact from Dembele that tripped Laporte up meaning he could arrive in the box unopposed to score the goal. Like PSG there seems to be a mental block that causes them to not play to their full potential and lose the match when they get this far into the competition, it may take a bit of luck next year but like PSG they may have to have a lucky break to get over this hurdle.
  15. It's about time it got released in the West. Early Bird price of £34.99
  16. I also have the game on Steam. I plan on streaming it today from about 4pm My Friend Code: 107460432
  17. Softer tyre compounds next weekend, so more pit stops might spice things up a bit, or give the Mercs the 1-2 they lost today.
  18. Absolute chaos in those last laps, punctures for Sainz, Bottas and Hamilton. If Verstappen hadn't pitted to go for fastest lap he would have won, sacrificed 7 extra points for a single point extra. Has the race winner ever crossed the line with effectively 3 tyres on his car? I almost thought Hamilton wasn't gonna make the finish line before Verstappen, I was jumping round my living room. Why on earth didn't they pit Lewis when Verstappen pitted? It made for a dramatic final lap but why take the risk when your team mate on similarly degraded tyres got a puncture.
  19. Lewis pulling it out of the fire when it mattered most, both Q3 times would have got him pole from Valterri. Some great performances from Leclerc and Norris getting 4th and 5th respectively and poor Seb languishing in 10th and Albon in 12th. Hard to see anything other than a Merc dominated race tomorrow but maybe there will be a surprise.
  20. Sergio Perez has tested positive for covid-19 and will miss this weekends British Grand Prix. Who is Racing Points reserve driver again?
  21. Unfortunately, including turn based RPG battles doesn't help with the misconception, so long as those are in the games people aren't going to accept that they aren't RPG's and thus wish for the series roots to return. That said, people I know have given up on the Paper Mario series returning to it's roots and are not going to buy the games anymore. So hopefully you will have less of those types to deal with going forward. I do wonder what might have been for the Paper Mario series had the Mario and Luigi games not existed, would it have stayed true to it's RPG roots or would this change of direction still have happened? We'll never know, but one thing is clear, if you don't like the direction the series has chosen, get off the bus.
  22. I think it's a shame we can never go back to the first 2 games, I can't help but feel as though Nintendo want to limit such a creative spin off with no more unique characters and interesting lore like those 2 games (And SPM to an extent) had if the pre-launch interview with the director is anything to go by. However, that said, I think they are doing their best despite the limitations Nintendo have set them and despite my extreme dissatisfaction with Sticker Star (which is the first Mario game I ever traded in and subsequently made me not even touch Colour Splash), After watching some of a play-through of The Origami King I can see some shoots of life in it. I won't pay full price for it, but if I can get it during a sale I might just give the series another chance. They just have to give me more of an incentive to not skip battles whenever I can (which defeats the point of an RPG) and I could see myself enjoying the series again.
  23. Hamilton starts on the back foot. It might not be the cakewalk most predicted.
  24. Lando stole 3rd with a fastest lap! Drama!
