Also waiting for an Amazon order of Smash+Adapter. Emailed Amazon to complain and got a stock, unhelpful reply: sent them another ~3 days ago and still to hear back. Very unimpressed. Unfortunately most other sites are also out of stock or even not listing anymore so I'm just going to have to wait it out. I am very tempted to download the game off the E-shop and demand compensation from Amazon but given how unhelpful they've been so far I doubt I'd actually get it. So frustrating.

I'm going on a big night out on Saturday and intend on having a nice hungover day of watching the F1 to make me feel better

I'm still plodding along with a Saumsung Galaxy S3 which is starting to be on its last legs. It kills USB cables after a few weeks off use and even with all the battery saving apps and settings I can find the battery only just lasts a day. Been looking at either the Nexus 6 or the Note 4 as a replacement, I quite like the idea of the larger screen as I read a lot of scientific papers in PDF format so it would be easier on a large phone than my laptop. Will probs try and get a hands on in store somewhere first. What do people reckon will be the better of the two? Specs wise they look virtually identical, other than the Nexus having the clean version of Android.

I just can't imagine playing Smash with anything except the GC controller. It annoys me no end that they abandoned the button layout of the GC pad, no to mention the analog shoulders and the general moulded shape of the grips.

Could just make a Skype group chat whenever playing with people from on here, I'm sure most people have a laptop and/or smartphone they could connect with.

Seeing the board would have probably made it a bit easier, but it depends if thats something you're ok with :p I didn't even realise about the powerups at all, but definitely yeah they should be earnable through in game means...though obviously quite infrequently if you're going down the in-app purchases route.

So it occurs to me this is now less than 3 weeks away. Where's the best place to buy the game+adapter combo that people have managed to find?

So so disappointing! After they got their first points this year, and what's happened to Bianchi, they deserve better than to go out with such a whimper. Caterham seemed to be the ones in trouble, but Marussia have beaten them to it. It's a sad day.

Just had a go and got 813. The hardest part was jumping right in again at the start of a new level...maybe a quick 3-2-1-GO to let you know the action has resumed? Enjoyed the simplicity of it, got a bit stressful when it started going super fast and panic clicking was my eventual downfall.
