Long overdue purchase

Just beat the final boss. Had a lot of fun with the game. Switched my team of monsters up during the final dungeon and didn't have any problems whatsoever The Platinum looks quite grindy. Not sure if I'm in the mood for that right now. But I don't want to start a new game, so who knows...maybe something to go after during a quiet hour at night. I mentioned before that this game is a game for people who enjoy stats and that is only true to some extent. Once I had my team of dragons, I didn't really need to watch stats anymore...a couple of OP buff/debuff combos turned the last few fights into a cakewalk It's a fun game, suffering only a bit from the Metroidvania exploration, which I found a bit tedious, and its weak story.

Maybe I will. My mate isn't that interested in the side story For now, my gaming time will be limited for a while anyways. Aside form Horizon: Forbidden west in two weeks I doubt I'll play anything

That was fun. The final mission was a blast. The whole game was very enjoyable. And I actually liked the story, too But, for now my mate and I are done with Halo. Kind of burned out after 4 games in a few weeks.

Their scientific name is "blue and orange energy freaks". My mate is an expert on these and named them that way. We'll see if anything changes in the last 4 missions, but so far it's not as bad as Halo: Combat Evolved, in my opinion

My mate and I played through half of Halo 4's campaign and...we like it It's more of the same shooty-shooty-bang-bang with a few new gadgets. A little on the easy side with how much awesome gear you get. Story seems interesting, too. So far no Flood which is always a plus I'm the revered Presser of Buttons because for some reason my mate wasn't able to press buttons in the first 2 missions So every time he comes across one, I come to his aid and do the job I am destined to do.

What am I doing with my life? I have virtually no interest in cars and I suck at driving simulation games but I watched the entire State of Play and I was completely absorbed. That was such a cool showing. The game looks ridiculously good, the amount of customization possibilities is insane and don't even get me started on content. As I said, my interest in cars is non-existent but hot damn, this showcase kinda makes me want to get the game

We're still gonna play Halo 4 Not getting any advice from someone who plays Returnal without the DualSense's features Halo Wars is a strategy game, right? If it has co-op we might actually give it a go.

And another one Easily the best of the first three mainline games. It was very slow until the halfway point, but ramped up quickly after that. The final mission, man...the first parts were atrocious and boring. The final bit was spectacular Yeah, The Flood is still boring as fuck. Basically zombies in different coating Really hope we won't see any of it in Halo 4. Speaking of, I wonder what the story will be given that the third installment had a pretty conclusive ending. Anyways, not sure if we'll be able to play more in the near future as our Gamepass subscriptions will end soon. But another 1€ offer surely won't be taking too long to arrive

I liked Trackerswarm a lot. enable the DualSense features!!! It's nice to have a method of hitting enemies without having to aim. Works wonders when you gotta dodge and move around. enable the DualSense features!!! Already played Reach and the plan is to play ODST, as well. We're playing the Master Chief Collection: Reach, Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4. We'll probably have to wait with the last two games, 'cause our Gamepass subscription is running out and we'll wait for another 1€ offer.

Praise be Master Chief, it is without hiccup. At least for now. Halfway through and no issues whatsoever Been a lot of fun, but the story is pretty much non-existent, which is a shame as there's a lot of potential that hasn't been tapped into at all. That will hopefully change in the next mission, though. At least that's what my mate and I assume.

It has been done. What a horrible experience this was. First of all: The game in general is a nicely improved sequel. Missions aren't as repetitive, graphics are much better, gameplay feels great. But...the crashes. We counted 57 (!!!) in total. The final straw was the last mission. 9 crashes. The mission features an "autoscroller" which you can't skip, so having to play that over and over again wasn't fun. Eventually we decided to watch someone play the mission on YouTube. What a weird way to complete a game. If it wasn't so badly optimized I'd given it an 8/10 but the unacceptable crashes turned this into a 2/10. I gotta say, Microsoft's PC gaming offering is ridiculously bad. The Xbox App is a horrible piece of software that resets settings randomly, occasionally deletes games and updates, sometimes doesn't download updates at all, and more. The Windows Game Base or whatever it's called is even worse. It's a clunky, over-complicated mess. Welp...my mate and I do have fun with co-op games and we will continue with the Halo series. But holy cow, if the third installment is as much of a technical disaster as the second game...not sure how long our enjoyment will last.

During a mostly sleepless night I found this little gem on the Google Play Store. Retro Bowl is obviously an American Football game. You get assigned to a losing team and have to do your best to get them back up to speed and/or just show you're a good coach and get hired by a different team. That's the "story". What surprised me the most is how intuitive and great the controls are. You tap the screen and hold to set the power and direction of the throw (if you wanna throw). You can also tap the running back and he gets the ball. With swipes you can make him dodge tackles. Plays are chosen automatically with a set amount of "audibles" (a quarterback can change plays, just in case you don't know) so there's limited choice, but it works just fine. Kicking extra points and field goals is simple, as well. Set the power via a moving bar and set the direction via a moving arrow. It is so much fun. Not sure if I'm actually amazing or if the game is deliberately easy in the first season, but I won the Super Retro Bowl immediately Got hired by a better team and will keep playing until I arrive at my favorite NFL team, the Greenbay Packers and win it all Paid 1.09€ for the full version which let's you adjust some extra settings like weather and removes ads (which aren't really intrusive). Worth it. Well, I've also been playing Monster Sanctuary for most of the last 6 hours while also watching the Australian Open men single final. Haven't made a lot of progress because that match was amazing. VAMOS NADAL
