  1. Finished Spider-Man Miles Morales It. Was. Awesome. Just need New Game+ and two miscellaneous trophies for the Platinum and I'll gladly play it again. So much fun from start to finish. Gonna play on Ultimate to get that extra challenge out of NG+.
  2. Been playing Spider-Man Miles Morales for a few hours today. Apparently 60% done with everything, if the number from the save slot is accurate. So far, it's been awesome. Traversal is as fun as ever and combat feels smooth and satisfying. Insomniac Games are too good at making games.
  3. Aaaaand Sackboy: A Big Adventure has reached its end. What a great game. A marvelous platformer and such a fun time. Especially with friends Highly recommended. Onto Spider-Man Miles Morales. Borrowed it from a mate and can't wait to dive in
  4. With Ace Combat 7 done, I went back to some good old platforming joy. Almost done with world 4 and I did not expect Britney Spears and De Staat to feature in some of the levels Especially De Staat with KITTY KITTY was awesome I think I'm close to catching up with my mate and his girlfriend so we can finish the game together soon
  5. Probably something between 10 and 12 hours. Edit: just looked at the trophy list and not sure if I'll go for the Platinum. 3 more playthroughs at least Nah, I'll just play other games
  6. My favourite console ever. Sorry PS4, but you suck now! The only truly next-gen feature so far. Yes, faster loading times and better graphics are great, but the DualSense is a game changer. Especially Returnal's way to use the rumble for directional signals was eye-opening. Easy: Returnal. Housemarque's first AAA game is a masterpiece. That reminds me: still need to get that Platinum. Maybe something for my last gaming achievement in 2021
  7. Timmy, wake the fuck up! Just completed Ace Combat 7's campaign. This was me during the final few missions: It was my first Ace Combat game and definitely not my last. I've got the PS4 version of Ace Combat 5 ready to play and also some DLC missions for Ace Combat 7 left (all courtesy of the AC7 Deluxe Edition). Some negatives about AC7: it starts quite slow; not a huge deal once the pace increases, but at first it's a little annoying a few story threads basically just start and immediately end; would've liked the plot to go a little deeper with certain aspects AI squad mates are useless, quite literally; you must do everything which sometimes is a bit overwhelming Those are minor niggles, though. They don't take away from the experience of a whole, which is simply put: pure video gaming bliss. My fifth 10/10 game this year
  8. Wonder if it's going to be as sexist as How I Met Your Mother. If that show had come out today, it would've been crucified. Will be interesting to see if How I Met Your Father will be met with criticism (assuming it'll be a similar show just with the roles reversed).
  9. Loop Hero isn't that good. Third worst game I've played so far this year
  10. Look Timmy, drahkon's about to talk about Ace Combat 7 again. "Urgh, go away, I wanna sleep." SHUT UP TIMMY. So this game's pretty fucking good Mission variety is surprisingly great. I mean, yes, you fly in an aircraft and do shooty shooty boom boom, but there have been: a "stealth" mission (nothing too crazy, but it works really well) escort missions (which are awesome here) "destroy everything in sight"-missions and more. It's incredible. I think I'm close to the end given how the story progressed in the last few cutscenes. I feel like there has to be some kind of big revelation soon. Something's just not right
  11. 1:1 GDLIIATNCAH myosotis I mean, it's clear to me now what this game is about.
  12. Finally got some time to actually play more than 30 minutes yesterday Got the final multiplayer trophy in Ace Combat 7 (play 50 Team Deathmatches). It was a lot of fun simply because the game is a lot of fun Now that there's no multiplayer trophy for me to acquire, I'll focus on the campaign. It has turned into some anime shit over the past few missions. And I mean that in a positive way. Shenanigans like an unknown fighter pilot who just wrecks your ass, a shit-ton of unmanned aircraft that wrecks your ass, a huge aircraft that deploys those UAVs and wrecks your ass. It's crazy And I still can't get over that OST. It's ridiculously good. Can't wait for the weekend to dive back into the campaign
  13. Given my other devices I pretty much have no use for macOS. I was thinking about installing Chromium OS to turn the Macbook into a Google device, albeit a limited one.
  14. Pretty big bump and I don't know which thread to use Got a MacBook Pro (2010) from work. They wanted to throw it away... Seems to run just fine but has some serious signs of usage. Would it be worth anything? I.e. would it be worth the hassle to try and sell it? If not, can I do anything with it? I've never used an Apple product so I doubt it's of any real use to me. Unless you can maybe install Windows?
  15. Played this for a bit and it sure is pretty. Other than that, not for me. Gonna be the same way with Gran Turismo 7 as soon as I'll get to try that one Just gimme another Burnout with graphics like these, please
  16. Bloody Wolf. Only played for 45 minutes so I didn't do much. Explored one cave/ruin thingy and killed the boss there. Other than that I just ran around admiring the scenery Very much enjoyed the skill system or whatever it's called. My starting weapon had a lightning "spell" imbued. If you two hand the weapon or don't use a shield you can press L2 and use that attack. It was quite op, to be honest Defeating the aforementioned boss gave me another skill which I could swap in/out at any time when I rested. Seems like there's going to be quite a bit of those which could make creating builds very interesting. I love the sense of exploration. As Sheikah said, it seems you can go anywhere you see. Had some framerate issues including some major stutters at times. Really hope they fix those for the game's release. Other than that, it played like a charm. It's Dark Souls but in an open world and it seems to work just fine
  17. Just gonna tell you one thing @Julius: Be excited, this game's amazing.
  18. Luckily I've found some time to give the test a go in about 25 minutes
  19. Ace Combat 7: Sweet Mary Jesus, the pace has picked up quite a bit Not so much story-wise, but once I've unlocked better planes and parts gameplay got a lot quicker. It's awesome. There are 20 missions in total and I've completed 8. Looks like there's a lot to uncover Sackboy: A Big Adventure: Reached world 4. It's still tons of fun. Replayed some levels for 100% completion and it's such a blast to play. Co-op is where the game really shines, though. Especially when cooperation is actually necessary Diablo 2: Resurrected: Managed to acquire some pretty cool gear, also a runeword that even back in the day I've never gotten. Of course, mine's gotten the second worst roll it can have Anyways, still having lots of fun just grinding and farming items with music in the background. Soulfood in video game form
  20. So, @Julius...are you looking forward to the game? I got into the network test but not sure if I'll be able to play more than 30 minutes Still: Can't wait
  21. A few things to consider: 1. Don't try to build an archetype deck. If it happens naturally, great. But don't pick cards early that are only useful in combination with others cards or relics. you may never get them. 2. the first act is all about front loading damage. Especially for elite fights you want to finish the battles soon. So stack up on damage. 3. second act is about scaling and AoE damage. 4. Once you reach the third act you should already have a solid deck and every addition should only be useful. 5. everything you've just read are only guidelines You always have to consider the cards you already have, the enemies you are likely to encounter and the boss you will face.
  22. Well, another 2 1/2 hour session with a mate and his girlfriend is over Those music levels are incredible. Can't believe the caliber of songs they covered We also spent approximately 30 minutes customizing our Sackboys. My mate went with a Hammerhead shark and kept remarking how cute it is. His girlfriend and I went with some neon green shenanigans
  23. Looks like the logical evolution of the Souls series. Can't wait.
