Fuck the lineup. Haven't got a DS...I'm sooo getting a 3DS at launch. With DQIX and Golden Sun.
-
Hey, listen. Hey, hey, watch out! I'm sold.
-
I gave Bruce Wayne a valium and said: "Settle your fucking ass down, I'm ready for combat, man." Get it, calm Batman? Amazing. Gonna see my girlfriend again after I've spent the last week in Hamburg. And I've decided to continue watching Dexter.
-
I win at today...yeah...why? Because I'm awesome. I did it. I passed the English test and the interview. Tomorrow I will be medically examined. Well, this could ruin everything, but I don't think it will, meaning I'll become an air traffic controller.
-
Thanks, but I'm sure I'm well prepared. I'll need to read out a text, then summarize it. After that I have to talk freely about a topic of my own choice. For the past 3 years I've read books and watched movies/series primarily in English, been on this forum and talked to several American and British people. I guess that's enough And also: In school I had bilingual education. Meaning I had more English lessons than "normal" students.
-
Whoever's interested about my journey to Hamburg: Passed two tests today. On Thursday I'll have to do an English test (probably won't be a problem for me), and if I pass that I will take part in an interview. After that I'll get the results and be told whether I get a training post (don't know if it's the right expression) in air traffic controlling. So, my daily win: One step closer to my dream.
-
Nothing that will happen to me today...but during the next (hopefully) five days. I'm going to Hamburg to take part in several tests...more specifically: These tests will decide whether I'll get the chance to become an air traffic controller. I'm excited, a bit nervous and god damn it I'm excited.

Watched this several weeks ago, and it was fun. Nothing spectacular, but fun.

My statements were completely unrelated. I know pretty much all of the FFs have turn based combat. I just wanted to say how much I despise the look of FFXIII Versus' combat. Really...I hate it. Never played FFVII to be honest. I downloaded it to my PS3...haven't played it since then, but I'm sure it's not gonna hold up against FFIX. It was the first FF I've laid my eyes on and completed, so I am biased, but hey, who cares :p
-
Nope. FFIX is the best. :p I do not want FFXIII-2, I do not want FFXIII Versus, I want FF with turn based combat...with a decent turn based combat...

This. Only this.

So ReZ asked you out?
-
wtf, you're a girl? or is he gay?
-
I'm too old for this shi...stuff.
-
We could ask for an entry fee, if you know what I mean.
-
"hide"... Have to agree: nice tattoo.
-
I was gonna say: You justifying how/why/when/why/OH WHY you met/know/talk to ReZ but scoop's reply will do.

This. The controls are all over the place. It feels like you need to remember 100 buttons and their functions.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. As I said: I was missing the right words to express what I wanted to say. But "deception" and "power" fit perfectly. That's supposed to be a bit dated, isn't it? I read that it's kind of simple when looking at today's standards. Sounds interesting. I'll look into that. This looks good, anybody know anything about it? It's kind of expensive so I need to be sure whether it's worth it.

Well, as the thread title suggests: I'm looking for books about manipulation. Not something like "Manipulating people 101" (not primarily, you can recommend me books about this topic, too). I want to read about how manipulation works (psychologically), how you can notice when someone tries to manipulate. Maybe something about how gestures and mimics can make you do something (even when it's not intended by the other person). The thing is: There's so much out there that I don't know where to start or what is good... I somehow find it really hard to express what I want to say Hope you get what I mean.

Is Deux Ex worth getting into? I'm really interested in the prequel but I want to play the other games first. The thing is: I can't get into it. I don't know why, though. Should I stick with it until it clicks?
-
I agree with you there. Revolver really is a great movie. And I also think it shows that Jason Statham can act (elevator scene springs to mind). Thanks for reminding me of Fight Club. Only watched it once, but gonna do it again soon.

Amazing movie. Probably my all time favourite. After the first view I actually watched it again immediately. There is so much to think about. Every time I watch the movie again it reveals something new to me. And of course: Inception. Obvious choice is obvious. Edit: Thank you Danny :p

I must see this.

You might want to think about it again.
