  1. Never said they wouldn't try anything new. My point was that I'd love to see Nintendo to spice things up in the sci-fi FPS genre. I was actually thinking of the posts' tone. Which is much more reasonable than yours and Ronnie's. Come on, man.
  2. Using Titanfall 2 as an example: It felt nothing like a generic space shooter. It is an FPS, a first person platformer, at times a very tactical shooter (don't want to spoil a gameplay mechanic, but look up information about the mission "Effect and Cause" if you'd like to know what I'm talking about) and, most importantly, it has a great story about friendship. It is far from generic and Respawn Entertainment proved how you can spice up something that people here are oh so sick of. Nintendo can pull off something similar with that kind of setting. With their track record it's an easy assumption. And instead of another Mario game I'd love Nintendo to step out of their comf ort zone and try something that is kind of new to them. Edit: Thanks @Mr\-Paul, finally some reasonable posts.
  3. Why do I even post here...Having a nice discussion with dazzybee and then there are these kind of responses. Unbelievable.
  4. I want a full-blown sci-fi FPS with epic space battles, robots, humans, etc. from Nintendo. We all know Nintendo could do something special with this. Much like Respawn Entertainment did with Titanfall 2. This is the likes I want to see from Nintendo. Obviously, games like Zelda and Mario can/have to still be in their portfolio, but I'd like to see much less from Mario and much more from new characters.
  5. Played Splatoon and it wasn't my cup of tea. It's a good game (like basically every Nintendo game) but I don't really like 3rd person multiplayer shooters. That's why I never played any Uncharted multiplayer. With "new" I don't mean another iteration of Mario and Zelda. I want more new IPs straight from Nintendo. After Titanfall 2, a game about many said that they felt like playing a Nintendo game from time to time, I'd love for Nintendo to try something like that. Yes something that is despised in these parts of the forum: Another FPS with a sci-fi setting. I want them not to release another Mario Kart but instead a completely new racer. No idea what, but I would trust Nintendo to do something special.
  6. Anyway... I just hope that when I'll think about getting a Switch in two years there's enough new from Nintendo software-wise for me to warrant a purchase.
  7. Not sure what me enjoying the PS4 Pro conference has to do with this but yeah...I don't find anything interesting about everything I've heard on the Switch. And from the rumours and leaks it looks like there's no need for me to stay up/wake up for the conference, especially since I have unversity stuff and work to do.
  8. Thankfully I don't have to watch the conference anymore If all of those leaks come true there's still nothing that's particularly interesting to me.
  9. Finally. I've finished the Titanfall 2 campaign. As I've said a couple of times already: It's incredible. A true FPS masterpiece. : peace: Hoping to nab the Platinum soon.
  10. Back home again and had some time to go through my list of games I played in 2016. 46 games. One Wii U game, the rest on PS4 or PSVita. Not bad. Time to pick my top 5 of 2016
  11. Soooo, Season 4 started.
  12. This month I've only completed two games: Odin Sphere Leifthrasir and Minecraft: Story Mode. While both good games I can't give either of the my GOTM award. I've enjoyed/am enjoying Titanfall 2 and Stardew Valley much more so it's going to be one of them even though I haven't finished them. It really is a difficult choice...
  13. I have. Great chapter : peace: Can't wait for the next one.
  14. Just chiming in again to say: Dat Titanfall 2 campaign. :awesome: It's spectacular and so much fun. I've stopped playing for today. Mainly because the lady is on her way but also because I don't want the game to end... I loved the first game so I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed the second this much. Will pick this up when it's below 30€.
  15. To be honest, I've never played a Harvest Moon game for longer than 30 minutes. From what I've read in impressions Stardew Valley is basically Harvest Moon but with more stuff to do. Edit: Spent some time with Titanfall 2. Oh my god, Effect and Cause...easily one of the best levels/missions I have ever played.
  16. Wanted to be done with Titanfall 2 (still at the third mission) and Dishonored 2 (not started, yet) by now but one game is taking up all my time that I don't spend with friends and family: Stardew Valley Best game ever...7 hours in, summer has arrived (ingame, of course ) and there is so much to do...Absolutely love it. Really hope a Vita version will be announced soon.
  17. Just watched Episode 7...
  18. Duuuude, I'm interested in so many games on sale...but I can't spend so much...
  19. Can't compare it to the VR experience, of course, but hot damn this game is amazing. "Rhythm violence game" should become a new genre. Currently playing the third "world" and I fear this is gonna be a tough Platinum
  20. Lol, nevermind. Thumper is 13.99€ for PS+ subscribers. Just bought it Maybe I'll get the Vita games after Christmas.
  21. Sounds good. I think I'll wait with this, though. I'll probably get Steins;Gate and Trails of Cold Steel for my Vita first. Anybody know how long this sale is going to be? Can't find any info on that...I presume it will end sometime in January? Or at the end of January?
  22. It's a steal! Get it By the way, didn't you also get Thumper when it was released? Would you say it's worth 15.99€?
  23. Interested in only a few games: Thumper (15.99€ - @somme is it worth the price? I always wanted it but found 19.99€ too much...and this deal doesn't seem to be that great. Legends of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (14.99€) Steins;Gate (7.99€)
  24. Just read the latest chapter. HOLY SHIT. Did not expect that. Amazing!
  25. I'm only three episodes in but I'm inclined to agree. Everything is absolutely top notch. And seeing/hearing Steven Ogg is always amazing :awesome:
