  1. Weirdo Beardo is handing out the recipe for a Golden Casket. Be quick, won't be online for too long... Edit: Time to sleep.
  2. Haven't spent much time with it recently so I decided to give it two hours just now. Completed two optional battles and one story battle. To be honest...I'm not really thinking about my moves during fights. I just choose a unit, see what I can do with him/her and just do what deals the most damage. I don't really plan ahead, I don't think about stats, I don't understand battalions/gambits (do they give passive stats to my characters? Are the stats purely for when I'm attacking with the specific battalion?)...I'm worried that this approach will get me killed later on. I also don't give any more thoughts to my characters' progression. I set their goals a while ago and now I just ride with it. Feels like I'm doing this Fire Emblem-tactics-RPG-thing wrong. Don't really enjoy the plot and pacing at the moment. Then again, it's still early days. Hopefully it'll pick up the pace soon. And I still hate everyone. The main character is a bland, bored dick who seems quite disinterested at all times. The support cast is made up of arrogant pricks and the main NPCs are all dubious assholes. So far...not very into it
  3. Hope you didn't already own the two furniture items I brought
  4. Thanks for having me. Sorry I had to leave so abruptly but something's come up.
  5. Sent you a friend request
  6. Found that beauty on reddit.
  7. Indeed. It's also one of the very few pieces I can play on guitar, so that's a bonus That's Kojima for ya'. Some people may not like his stories/games but no one can deny that he is an absolute master of his craft. The way he manages to blend movies (and movie tropes) with video games is just masterful. Death Stranding proves that pretty much throughout the entire experience. He's one of the very few people in the industry to really push the medium forward. I hope he sticks around for a long time doing what he does That's Kojima for ya'. He always finds bands/artists/tracks that fit the theme and atmosphere. Low Roar being featured in Death Stranding is one of the more recent examples. The moments while songs of that band are playing brought me to tears more than once. That's Kojima for ya'. The survival aspect in MGS3 is spot on. Many games fail at this but here it's executed perfectly. Kojima definitely knows how to create game play that actually makes sense within the games he makes. Death Stranding is one of the more recent examples. This post was written, directed, edited, translated and sung by Hideo Kojima. Ohhhh MGS4. That one moment...that one song...that one memory...my eyes are watering up. Edit: Just to be safe, I deleted the spoiler @Julius Go play and finish MGS4 now. I wanna talk about it.
  8. I'll check later today
  9. Wow. I really should've known that earlier Anyways, thanks and @martinist, the harp will be on your way via mail soon
  10. Meaning I pick it up and I can buy it from the Nook Shop? Is that how it works? @BowserBasher are you still on the island?
  11. If you want it you can have it as you were the first to respond. Let me know if you don't and I'll drop by martinist's island
  12. I got cash to spare. If you want to buy it I'll gladly give it to you If not, BowserBasher can visit and rampage through the store
  13. No probs, I actually visited in between rounds of Call of Duty
  14. Thanks. You didn't respond to my question Left you a DIY you most likely already have It's in front of your house.
  15. All fish and bugs caught, except for the scorpion for obvious reasons May Day Tour was boring and of no use to me.
  16. Yup. Which is pretty much why Microsoft and Sony are set on making their new consoles as easy to develop for as possible. Especially with regards to cross-gen titles. It's smart, They won't lose any third party titles that way.
  17. Indeed. It's what I immediately noticed, as well. For me it's not a big deal because I get my third party fix on PS4, but I can see how that's a problem for some. While I'm enjoying my time with the Switch I always wonder whether it would be the same, hadn't I bought it this late. Now I have a few games to choose from. I think I'd be in the same situation had I bought the console much earlier. There really is not a huge first party output...
  18. I'm no expert but I doubt this will help
  19. Oh, I thought that you've caught bugs on southern islands and therefore they already appear on yours. Which in hindsight is pretty stupid of me. Catfish, which can only be found in ponds between 4pm and 9 am. And I haven't caught the large fish at the pier (Giant Trevally), yet. Here's what I do: Craft 10, save and quit. Start again, use 'em all. Didn't catch the fish I wanted? Quit via the home button. Repeat. Unless the auto-save doesn't kick in you can do that infinitely. And it takes a while for the game to automatically save. Good to know. Haven't seen it once in 3 hours... I hear that a lot.
  20. One of my absolute favourite boss fights ever. There are also two funny ways to kill him
  21. I might visit your island some time then Only need two more fish, one of which can only appear from 4pm 'til morning. And aside from a scorpion (which replaces the tarantula) and the Great Purple Emperor I have caught all bugs. I really hope the latter doesn't need a specific type/colour of flower to appear...haven't really dabbled with breeding flowers, yet, and in turn not all colours are found on my island.
  22. It's happening with all four buttons and I already tried cleaning them
  23. Noticed a weird issue while playing Picross S: If you press "B" you place an X. Now here's the deal: If I press a directional button immediately after pressing "B" I place an X on both squares. Same thing happens with all the other buttons. Not sure if my explanation makes sense. It's like the first button press is "held" while pressing the direction button. I've tried it in other games, for example Tangledeep, and it happens there, as well. What to do? It's pretty annoying in games that require fast and precise inputs.
