I would start by reducing military spend, funnel the money into science and science education. I'd heavily, heavily regulate benefit payouts since they're so blatantly being abused by so many, something I know from growing up. I'd strongly promote alternatives to University, since so many are going for the wrong reasons. All the while subsidising education further so its not so ridiculously expensive (9-fold fee increase since I went in 2005-08). I'd also tax smoking a lot more, increase taxing on the super rich. Heavily restrict companies like Wonga and maybe tax alcohol in supermarkets more. Probably not enough, but I'd be happy to do it.

2 things. First, I often got this issue when powering on an external drive. But turning it off and leaving it for a little bit then turning it back on could often fix it (can try it a few times). Second thing, you can try use this to recover a partition and assign it to a new drive letter. When you can access it, often after upgrading your old stuff has been backed up automatically to a folder called Windows.old (often in the C:/ folder).

People are kidding themselves if they think that having large threads is even close to a major factor (or even a factor) for why the forums gets less activity these days. It's like one of those lies that people have repeated so many times that they have started to believe it. Plenty of forums have these sorts of topics and have more activity. Plus it does not explain at all how there is less activity now when we have these threads, versus years ago when we had these threads and more activity. Times they be a changing. Shorty is right about existing members growing up an moving on/posting less, there's no doubt about that. Nintendo is also the drawing factor for people to a Nintendo forum, even if people eventually settle mostly in general. And we have to admit, Nintendo isn't the same and therefore doesn't draw the same sorts of people any more. Edit: apologies @Dannyboy\-the\-Dane I see the confusion now, I meant to say having large threads not closing them. :p

No I'm not accusing you being inactive, but you know if your primary vote isn't garnering support then you're essentially wasting your vote. So your choice was effectively either no lynch or lynch Jonnas.

No what's alarming is you said that you would vote before 5PM unless there was a very good reason not to. And you didn't. And rather than this looking like an accident you're now making it look intentional by still not voting. It's a shame that others aren't as active but I know you're a very very active poster (you're the entire forum's top poster) so this is quite out of character for you (especially when you agreed before 5). Jonnas has laid down his cards and they don't add up. Don't really see what else he can say, he is the most logical choice.

I will say, 6PM day end is not a great time in terms of people being active (this is not directed at Cube who had every chance). Most people are probably just getting in at that time so it works in the Mafia's favour.

That's not going to be a potential reason, is it? Even if one Mafia was absent, the other would call their call roles for them on their message board. Even if you couldn't call roles and one Mafioso was inactive, one of the active members would do the hit instead. Jonnas, if you turn out to be innocent then I am sorry, but all roads seem to lead to you right now. People claim to have roleblocked you and you said your target appeared to be protected. That's 2 possible protections against kills both that apparently affect you, and there was no kill. At least if you're not guilty we'll learn that there's a reasonable chance Animal is instead.

So you do not claim to know of being protected @mr\-paul? This makes Jonnas's account even more unlikely. There's a lot of stuff that doesn't add up here. I'd like to know from people who haven't voted Jonnas why the think the person they're voting is more scummy given all the conflicting info on him.

Apologies for length of post, before I begin. Worth reading though. Ok, I don't think this style of questioning is going to help us reach a conclusion, rather we'll probably just waste the rest of the day without getting anywhere. There's really no definitive proof on anyone right now, we just know that at least one of the people in the following two pairings has a FAIRLY reasonable chance of being Mafia: Peeps and Tales - going by the fact that it is unlikely both will be Town roleblockers. Jonnas and Animal - on account of both being roleblocked. If we assume the above is true (that there is only one town roleblocker), then naturally one of the targets will certainly be town, while the other could be town or Mafia. At first glance, statistically speaking it may make more sense to hunt the roleblocker as it is more likely one will be town and the other will be Mafia. If you think about it, it's less likely that the assumed 'only' town roleblocker will have picked a Mafioso by chance to roleblock than the possibility that Jimbob picked one town and one mafioso to be a roleblocker. But then, what tips this the other way in my eyes is if you consider that there was no kill tonight. This makes it very likely that one of the roleblock victims was in fact the killer. If the Mafia have a disguiser however it's likely they sent them to do the killing, in which case we could be going after an innocent man (as the disguiser received a roleblock in the stead of the intended target). But in a 10 player game it almost seems unfair that there might be a disguiser, so I'm less inclined to believe there is one. So I'd be more likely to go after the roleblocked. In which case, either Jonnas or Animal. Now I suspect Jonnas over Animal for a good few reasons. For one, Jonnas had conflicting information with Peeps. Peeps has been fairly forthcoming with information which makes me slightly more inclined to disbelieve Jonnas, but that's by no means conclusive evidence. Second, Jonnas has been slightly shifty in his replies. His language to me suggests he's not really convincing himself. Lastly, Jonnas claims he was redirected from Yvonne yet no one has accounted for this. He says he was redirected to mr-Paul who was protected. mr-Paul has not commented on why he may have been protected but this could be fairly understandable if he was a protector or was protected. Although personally, I got quite scummy vibes from Paul in his response (trying to scatter blame across multiple targets). Either way, if Jonnas did target someone for who was protected and no one died, it would again go further towards explaining why there may have been no night kill. Most of the evidence so far points towards the sensible option being to vote Jonnas, and if it doesn't then it increases the likeliness that it's Animal instead. Rather than split the vote it'd be best if we find out one way or another and vote the same.

If he's looking for some experience in that department, he should sleep with one that has the Pokerus. Seriously though, use condoms.

I still think there's a stronger justification for voting Jonnas. Not just that he was apparently untargetable but targeted, but he gave a weak response. Peeps has provided us with his role, name and target which seems more than fair.

This post lacks conviction to me. "It is possible", "which suggests." These are all phrases I would associate with Mafia straw clutching where even the player doesn't believe half of what they're saying. Right now I would say the strongest links to Mafia are still with Jonnas, so that's who my vote stays with.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Essentially like legalised/condoned WoW gold. I personally don't agree with the system past cosmetic boosts (outfits/customisation). Competition between online players can be seriously dented if there's the ability for players to pay their way up.
