Sounds like the game has turned out good.

The new anime and manga thread! [Use Spoiler Tags!]

Sorry but what the frak does a standard 3D Mario have? A couple of stars where you're sliding along on a penguin? The music levels at the end of each Rayman Legend world are nothing short of genius.

I think the only people who 'prayed it would flop' are the people in your mind, tbh. If Fallout is a PS4 game, which I don't doubt, then it will run as well as a good but more expensive PC, with the added social functions PS4 brings.
-
Yeah, let the Americans beta test it for everyone.
-
Hell...yes! Always a pleasure to see this topic filter to the top of my timeline.
-
Or the heavily hinted Fallout 4? Which will skull fuck every Wii U title into submission when/if it releases. Just sayin'.

Well if NE's scores caused you even a moment's confusion/upset then all the better. They're entitled to their reviews and non perfect scores makes their reviews all the more credible in my opinion. You're also doing what you often do - fixating far too much on scores, which should be secondary to the review.
-
In the interest of your noble not-being-hawkish-ness then, who is your character? :p
-
I agree but not on D1. At least on D2 we will have some info circulating to go on. Then watch as people try to deflect the heat when you start voting their character. Anonymity for now could be pretty good. A cop could put out his results and the Mafia couldn't do a darn thing about it at night. Still, I'm pretty sure no lynch was allowed before in most votes.
-
I think you guys are just more down to Earth and realistic with your expectations (without doubt a good thing).
-
Yeah it must. Otherwise the Mafia could hilariously kill people with impunity late game.
-
Let him keep his vote on. No lynch will win through regardless but he'll have given his character name away since he'll be the only player with a vote on Mr Noisy. If the Mafia want to kill Yvonne, assuming he isn't Mafia already, they'll know which Mr Man to target. It's advisable everyone slaps a vote on No Lynch if you don't want people forming links between non voters and Mr Men names that didn't appear in the vote tally. It's my understanding that DuD wanted a mechanic to stop the more active players being lynched early by affording some anonymity. Vote: No Lynch
-
Supposing you're the only one left voting at the end of the day for Mr Noisy then it's my understanding that your forum name will be converted into your character name. Since it would be just you then we'd know it was you.
-
FYI, wait until the end of the day and we'll all know your character.

When the PS10 comes they'll call it PSX. PS Sex. Sex sells... (Yeah, I know there was already a PSX)

Out of interest, what does it do different?

Haha, this part made me lol. I will say, Amazon delivery has become really crap around where I am. They stopped using Royal Mail and now use Amazon Logistics, which is basically made up (they use other random couriers). But unlike RM there's no depot to pick your stuff up, and when a guy missed delivery he still recorded it as delivered (prompting a length phone conversation with foreign customer service). Although I did like when my old Kindle broke they refunded me entirely and sent me a new one. So basically a free Kindle.

I think you're more Pokemon meets Rain Man than journalist brah. This came up recently, apparently N-E blogged something that wasn't necessarily the case...but later turned out to be sorta true. Some weird snub like that.

Ok. I'm sure 3rd party developers look at the sales figures and think it's a great console to develop for. My bad, it doesn't appear toxic at all.
-
Which is where the people are. Who are there because of the sexy processing/graphics/online package to play their multiformat games. Most people would rather have a good online infrastructure along with better graphics to play the same multiformat games - no sense picking the watered down option. It's a positive feedback loop where more developers come in, because more people are there, etc etc. None of that stuff matters; it may as well have been entirely forgotten. It's the Wii U that has an incredibly toxic image - not to us guys, obviously. To developers and to Joe Public. It's certainly not an issue with price point or gamepad costs. The thing is priced reasonably now but still sells like dog turd.
-
The whole point is that you want the Wii U to attract third party developers and multiplatform games. It already has and always will have first party support, obviously, regardless of the system specs it has. It would probably be difficult for one developer to fully sustain a console so that enough people thought it was amazing. When the Wii motion hype died down, the Wii was left in exactly the same situation. The Wii U is not a sexy console, let's be honest. If you're a developer you're going to take your business where the excitement is; where the purported 'next gen' processing and graphic capabilities lie. The Wii U being left in the dust in this regard as well as having outdated beliefs (namely online play / infrastructure) are at the heart of what's wrong with it. It has a toxic image.

Although their customer service is great, their actual service isn't the best. Amazon don't always get stuff to you on release date while ShopTo usually get games to you before release. I'm not sure who Amazon are using to deliver consoles but ShopTo are using DPD. They tell you a 1 hour window when they'll deliver on the morning of the delivery date. That's how all deliveries should be.
-
I wouldn't even know what ShopTo's customer service is like. That pretty much sums up my experience with them.
-
Your loss. They are the best game retailer there is.
