But this is supposed to be a Nintendo collaborative game, so you'd expect it to have features that a lot of the regular games have, wouldn't you? I tried, but failed to get excited about this seeing as it's still a DW game. It was kinda cool at first to see what moves they'd give each character and which characters were in it, but the essential format for DW is so stale and repetitive. It also has some of the worst gameplay ever, where 99% of the enemies stand around and do nothing. I used to be somewhat ok with DW before, but it's the kind of game that you can easily get tired of quickly. DW Empires is probably the best take on DW format though as there's more of a purpose to it.

I don't really have any substance behind this guess, but I get the feeling that 360 fans aren't as bothered about upgrading as PS3 fans. The 360 was a more popular console over here and it felt like it resonated somewhat better with the more casual audience (the kind not as arsed about graphics). It was also cheaper, while the PS3 with its Blu Ray drive for quite a while made it quite a premium end device. I think the PS3 owners might be more likely to splash the cash on the next unit, helped as well by the PS4 seemingly being a more attractive deal to people (at least going by sales at the moment). Not sure cutting off 360 soon would be viable, if people aren't going to upgrade yet.

Damn, there's really no excuse for that in this day and age.

Excited to get some Minecraft on for PS4. Wonder how servers will work, would be great if they hosted them.

MGS3 was good. The stories of the other games are a bit too convoluted though.

I might do, depends on how easy inventory management is. Would be cool if the Vita could be used as an inventory (or a tablet). The share button seems practically designed for Minecraft. Also, I returned to Minecraft after maybe a 2 year absence and downloaded a Majora's Mask world yesterday. It was awesome.

It is, many more people have moved over from PS3 to PS4 than have left the 360 for the next gen of consoles. However, neither the Wii or Wii U is getting it.

For the vast majority of games that's not the case, or at least if it wasn't the case for most games people simply wouldn't care. For instance, Pikmin was great before and after the gamepad. That hardware addition was totally unnecessary. Software should always shine through, great software will be great regardless of what system you play it on. Microsoft and Sony complement each other such that neither side wants to be outdone or drop the ball. Sony upped their online infrastructure to match Microsoft's, while MS copied Sony's Plus game giveaway, sort of. Having competition is not a sign that one should exit but actually a healthy sign. If there's competition, it's because multiple companies recognise the merit in doing that particular thing. Nobody is trying to make a console and online infrastructure like Nintendo's, for instance, and I think we all know why.

It also connects via HDMI and does HDMI upscaling, as well as game save states. And works with a SNES pad, and some others too... Yeah, it sounds sweet. :p

I think Microsoft are holding back their X1 sales figures because a lot less people have bought the console than the 'shipped' figures are letting on. If this is the case, they can't really afford to drop 360 support since so many people are still buying games for it. I don't get it, is this a trick question? I would buy the game as I had always wanted to. It's good news that this is just a timed exclusive. I often buy games a while after release unless they're really something special, so as long as the wait isn't too bad I'll be ok.

I'm guessing there's an element of skill required in this too. :p (Sux for me).

You can only get hit 3 times and the bubbles go off the top and sides of the screen and appear on the opposite side. Maybe there's some strategy to it but I feel like one of the soldiers in Saving Private Ryan. I also hate the dragon class.

Man, I tried doing the challenge version of the fourth boss (bubbles floating around and you're a dragon). No way could I manage.

There's no hope for you here. You're just ignoring what people are saying and coming across as very ignorant. You're either genuinely incapable of understanding a very simple sequence of events or just trying to troll us here. Nobody is saying they want the franchise to bomb, rather just that there would be a good side if this one version bombs. If it did, then they released it across multiple formats to remedy the situation, it'd get more sales and bring them more success overall. Not only that, it would discourage similar crap like this going down in the future. So, once again: Version bomb - yes Overall bomb - no

I really don't see why you're have a hard time following the series of events that explains why some people might want it to bomb. - The game does not sell well on X1 as a result of the exclusivity deal - S-E therefore quickly gets the game out on other formats - People without an Xbox One can play a game they couldn't before. If you still don't understand this reasoning then you have clear difficulties with comprehension. I'm not saying it will happen (very likely it won't), but there is logic to wanting this version of the game to bomb, as opposed to the franchise as a whole. Stupidly obvious post is stupidly obvious? Other things I would not care about: Not being allowed to have an umbrella if it wasn't going to rain Not being given an antidote if I was never poisoned Not being given the ignore button function if everyone made awesome, well-rounded posts (ha!)

£60 is also a lot cheaper than anything I saw the other day. :p

Or not? What's wrong with you man? I just gave you a very good reason why someone might want the result of this exclusivity deal to not turn out well. Because then there'd be more chance the game will release on other formats to recoup the money, like Rayman. Don't be so rude and and appreciate that your point of view isn't the only one that's right.

Why would you want to be talked down? It's the best game of that generation and the price will only ever continue to rise. Investment!
